Negative experience: SERVICE WAS GOOD, BUT AS FOR THE LADY WHO DONE TREATMENT FOR SOMEONE I KNOW WHO PAID $3700 ODD DOLLARS TO GET A tooth extractions & fillings with there last visit being only just over a week ago this person ended up with a swallon face for almost a week an also had to be admitted into middlemore hospital due to the pain an infection they had because lady wasn't suppose to do the tooth extraction due to this person's gums being infected yet she as a dentist should have already known that. Not to mention this fillings have already come out from brushing there tooths .

Negative experience: Confirmed my appointment here 3 times and when I showed up the receptionist told me the dentist was on a Muslim holiday that day. Didn’t even bother letting me know. Went back and wow not only did they wayyyy overcharge me but had pricing on the walls that was cheaper and when I asked why it’s cheaper on the wall pricing they said that’s old idk who put that there. Secondly the receptions is so slow, rude, and so damn lazy. Can’t even bother calling to let me know the dentist wasn’t coming in but was able to harass me multiple times confirming my appointment. Also they had told me one price and then quoted me complete different prices. And I know that because I went over it with them multiple times. This place is sketchy also I’m gonna report you guys to Winz for putting cleanings and X-rays under different names. I have proof so you’re welcome for that!

Fantastic experience: Today 23/01/2025 I had Dr Ghurman Kaur & her assistant , Do 2 extractions for me today . I was very pleased with how fast and efficient the extractions were. Great Customer service at reception. $320 for 1 extraction. Offers Multiple payment plans eg ) Afterpay. Very hygienic work place. Highly recommend! Today 21/03/25 I have now enrolled and taken my daughter to get her tooth extracted. Awesome work. Love the environment . Very welcoming and amazing work done on my daughters tooth. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: Our experience here at Maxcare Dental Otahuhu has been a breeze so far. The Dentists, Dental assistants and receptionists are so attentive, friendly, professional, welcoming and caring. Always so helpful and going the extra mile to help in any way. My mother has Alzheimer's and I love and admire the way they treat their patients Esp the elderly. Dr Tazeen showed kindness, patience and compassion towards my mother and I appreciate that. The clinic is so clean, neat and tidy. Although some other clinics I have been too, are so boring, dark and dull. Here at Maxcare Dental clinic Otahuhu, it was vibrant, bright and the air conditioning is great they even have a water tank to keep you hydrated on a super hot day. Overall wonderful experience and I give them a Five star rating.

Staff are friendly and the dentists are nice people too. They have several different ways of paying for your procedure. I'm grateful for their services coz now I can chew my food properly. And soon I'll be able to chew on both sides with no pain. Thanks Maxcare Dental. * consultation is free but you may have to pay for xrays. They will always ask you first before proceeding with any services.

Fantastic experience: Woke up to find the left cheek was swollen and very painful my gum was inflamed Phoned to make appointment being a Sunday was hard to find a dentist that was open - fortunately Maxcare managed to fit me in - had consultation and given prescription to relief pain and reduce swelling- booked for follow up appointment

Fantastic experience: All amazing and punctual staff. They were very kind with extraordinary customer service. I rang in the morning and the reception I spoke to had a very calm tone in her voice. She booked me in for a 1.30pm appointment that same day. I went at 1.15pm and was greeted by a very polite receptionist then was taken in at 1.30pm with the dentist. Consultation was done and the dentist did her work. The dentist and her colleagues took 2 x-rays and then started extracting 2 of my teeth, which were making things really uncomfortable for me. I was out of their just after 2pm. The whole team made going to the dentist so easy and for the first time ever I didn't feel anxious about being at the dentist. Thank you Maxcare Otahuhu I will definitely be recommending your services.

Fantastic experience: Had a broken tooth so called in a panic asking to be seen immediately. The Practice Manager Danika was awesome and arranging for a prompt 8:30am appointent. Was seen to by Dr Tazeen Khan and her dental assistant! both were exceptionally competent with light and expert hands promptly restored the filling with no issues. I waited 3 days to post the review the see how the post op goes! no issues to report. Post op review was excellent. I am super grateful to have found my permanent dental clinic and dentist.. Fantastic experience: I got dramatic and initially wrote an exaggerated review, I got my way in the end and got my sore teeth pulled. However I got home and went to sleep. I dreamed a strong dream. In front of me an angry man shouting a different language with his right hand and finger up as if to give a strong warning. Even tho I did not understand the language, My heart perceived what was being said. I knelt down on my knees and cried I said I'm so sorry, who are you ? I told him I didn't know it was his dentist place, I promised never again to even utter a bad word to Max Care ever again. I told him about the spirit come out with my nasty teeth that got pulled, his head nodded he agreed. A spirit of terrible word's came out with my tooth. I want my whole family to care for their dentist needs to MaxCare, each one of them I instruct never to say a bad word or compose any bad word sentences to MaxCare. Thank you, thank you thank you.

Fantastic experience: My husband was suffering from tooth pain for about 4-5 days and today couldn’t stand the pain and wanted the tooth out! Looked up dental clinics that were open today -Sunday and thought some said they were open 7 days - only when looking on their website -Not the case - Liars . Luckily saw Maxcare Otahuhu -green open! Into the car we went- Hubs and I. On the way to clinic called up and a wonderful polite and helpful staff on phone line said that though day is full of bookings if we were to get to clinic before a client gets there at 10:15am or around that time, they’ll see if an extraction can be done. Husband and I parked up at clinic at around 10’ish, filled out a new patient form and boom Hubbs was seen as soon as form was done and put into their system by desk staff. ( The wonderful person who talked to me over phone) Dentist and assistant were also lovely and patient with me when I explained /translated what was to happen for my husband on his tooth and the aftercare when home. All in all - Great service and care and very quick! Husband is happy and so am I.

Negative experience: The staff were very kind and they did a very nice job. My issue was that on the website teeth cleaning starts at $120 but I was charged $300. I called to ask after treatment and payment was done as that didn’t sit right with me and the lady said the treatment starts at $250 and because of buildup it’s why I was charged $300. I’m just a bit confused how this came about. I do feel a bit more clarity around this would be good. I didn’t budget to spend $300. Anyways I would recommend this clinic but just more clarity around pricing would be good. Edit: I thought about it. Nope I don’t know how to constitute an extra $180 when it was just a clean and polish and I didn’t have a big buildup . I want to get at least some of my money back but I’ll have to get over it Edit part 2: have changed this review to a 1. During the service the lady that was using the tool to suck the blood out was pressing very hard on my gums to the point it felt like it was stabbing my gums and it was really sore. I thought this was normal until I just checked and now there is an ulcer in the exact 2 spots where she was pushing very hard. I regret not mentioning it earlier. I’m a bit scared to call and mention this but then what can be done zz I have taken photos just in case

Positive experience: This place is good if you need specialist care, immediate emergency help, or any dental work that can be covered by WINZ. But in my experience, the "affordable" prices are questionable depending on the dentist you get and how much work you need. So if you're looking for cheap, try Auckland Dental Facility in Manurewa first, especially before thinking about withdrawing your kiwisaver to pay for dental work. It's cheaper because you will be seen by dental students learning under and guided by senior expert dentists. Maxcare dental assistants and reception staff were very nice to deal with though :)

Fantastic experience: I had an infected wisdom tooth that couldn't be removed by my dentist, but was treated for the infection and was offered to contact a private specialist, but found it was very expensive. I kept coming across Maxcare Dental online, so I got a consult and they were able to remove my tooth a couple of days later Thank you to the team who took care of me, from my initial consult to the long but careful extraction. It was intense and worrying at first but I was put at ease from the obvious expertise of Dr Muhammed and his team. I will definitely come back for all my toothy needs and recommend this team for professional and affordable dental care

Negative experience: By far the worse service in reception, Caucasian girl is rude has a bad attitude and very lazy at her job! Wanted to know why it took my daughter over half n hour wait when she was on time for her appointment?? And she replied in the utter most rude as way! Disgusting and unprofessional, she claimed I argued with her? But I was not I wanted answers to why my daughter had to wait!

Fantastic experience: On Tuesday I booked my appointment. Yesterday on Wednesday I went for my appointment to maxcare dental clinic. For the very first time I walked in the clinic and was greeted with a big smile by the ladies at the reception and lovely staffs , respectful manner, professional , lovely and caring staffs. They were all so helpful . When I got there I didn't have to wait for that long. Procedure was done perfectly on time. Everything went very well and smooth. It was painless. The staffs took very good care of me and were very calming and gentle. I 100% recommend MAXCARE DENTAL CLINIC for anyone who needs there teeth done. Negative experience: Bad customer service. I was booked in for an appointment at 2 pm on Saturday but they decided to cancel it even after i confirmed the appt. They were arguing I didn't confirm even though I had proof of txt msg received. They then said wait for 30 mins because we cancelled your booking but they came back to me after 1 hr 5 mins to say they are too busy today and was asked to come back another day.

Negative experience: $250 for a hygienist appointment when everywhere else I've been was $150-$170 (better service/results too) nuff said LOOK ELSEWHERE! Edit: 23/4/24 STILL look elsewhere. Don't let the reply fool you. There are other places that give better price ranges, that won't compromise quality of care. $250 for 15mins. Let that sink in.

Negative experience: All muslims please be careful and don’t get carried away! I already had my review here but was asked to delete it! But then when i went to the specialist for my appointment they said my dentist asked them to do everything when they were only supposed to be the one putting the implant and placing the tooth was supposed to be the dentist! I went to this dentist considering that they are muslims and will never cheat people But sadly i am totally disappointed They overcharged and do very rough jobs They did my fillings,made me wait for every single appointment And still all fillings chipped off within a year Did a bridge and bridge broke within 2 years They only care about money and nothing else

Knowing I'm not compatible with any dentist I ran over to Google to scan some reviews as crisis management. So I found that a lot of people is pleased with the service etc. I secured an appointment with no hope whatsoever leaving with my gap being filled and me not being scarred. THEN! THEN I met Dr. Hassan and the ladies at reception, my goodness what a combination of friendly reassuring people under one roof!! Dr. Hassan has built me tooth from literally nothing! Fantastic experience: Maxcare dental is that one place for our dental services. Very friendly n helpful staff with lot of patience. When I visited the clinic, I didn't take any appointment before my visit but after talking to me, the receptionist came to know that I was in a lot of pain. She some how squeezed me in and I had my treatment done on the same day by a very friendly and caring dentist.She was very patience as she knew i was so scared. The numbing process was just the way i wanted and expected.Thanks to the whole team for the support. I highly recommend Maxcare Dental Clinic for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I was surprised at how easy the whole process was. Kind friendly staff put me at ease as soon as I walked in the door. I had a tooth extraction and Xray. Very reasonable price. Good after care advice given. I have found my dentist.
