I was skeptical to trust or seek out another dentist until... Sharing with my work colleague what i had gone through with another dentist. She highly recommended Yvonne. Her ability to listen, hear how anxious I was and putting me at ease during my appointment I was able to relax. It was like a weight had been lifted to finally trust a dentist. Negative experience: Starting with free consultation and ended up with 125$ only for x-ray. They care about making money a lot. The specialist is not able to help and listen.

Fantastic experience: After some awful experiences at dentists, I came across this clinic by chance when I needed something done urgently on the weekend. They are now my regular dentists as they just happens to be very close to home. I’ve been seen by dentist Dr Boris and hygienist Dr Sunil and both are incredibly patient and friendly and talk you through everything that is happening in a kind manner. I’m no longer fearful of a trip to the dentist and I’ll gladly see them both six-monthly for my check up and cleaning respectively. Thank you so much, Smile Dental.

Fantastic experience: Had Boris who was super nice , explanatory and gave detailed explanations of my teeth, great advice and care. Prices were as discussed and up front (although remember your bank card - as no paywave), all my concerns I had were answered before the treatment too and but my mind at ease. I’m scared of the dentist, and probably an unideal patient but got through it okay coz the team here were so fantastic. I will be more prompt for my check up and cleaning in future and will be back asap :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here for a cleaning three times now, and I have to say how brilliant Sunil is. He has amazing interpersonal skills and explains everything so thoroughly. My teeth look soooo clean after seeing him. To the point that I don’t want anyone else to clean my teeth, only him! They are literally pristine. He is so so talented at his job. I’ve been to quite a few hygienists in my time, and no one has ever done as good a job as him. I would recommend him to everyone I know! I made the appointment online during the week and the my processed it very fast. The operator on the phone was communicative and helpful regarding services and price. The receptionist was helpful and welcoming when I went for my check-up. Also, I had an amazing treatment experience with Dr. Boris Ma. He’s professional, patient, communicative and caring. Fantastic experience: It was really good experience as I got wisdom tooth and I was so scared because It close to my nerve and I decided to remove with Dr. Nicholas Choo. He's really kind and told me the reason to decide that I should keep or take it out.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time. Had something I was concerned about and booked in. I had a consultation with Boris who was so lovely and assured me things were ok BUT I was well over due for a clean by the hygienist. The folks at Smile Dental definitely made the dentist anxiety fade away. I can say I will definitely keep up with the check ups with these folks.

Also We asked for the prescriptions for the pain at counter, she just came, so nurse asked her. she said I'm going to Lunch break. So do you want us to wait until you finish your lunch to get the prescription you already treated. Wow :(

Fantastic experience: I contacted Smile Dental for a hygienist appointment and was able to book one just two days later, with a confirmation sent by SMS shortly after. The cleaning experience was excellent, Sunil was very detailed, explaining issues as he worked. He identified gum recession from brushing too hard and sideways, something previous clinics hadn’t mentioned. At the end, he recommended a specific mouthwash to use for the week, with no pressure to buy it from them, as it’s available at any supermarket. Cost was $250 for a deep clean due to my gum issues, with a regular clean being $180 I believe. I've scheduled a follow up in four months and plan to keep Smile Dental as my go to.

Negative experience: Horrible service. They were rude and kept cutting me off. Kept asking me what I wanted to do as if I didn't go to them for that very reason.. they are the professionals after all, shouldn't they know what to do? Told me a basic extraction was beyond their capability and tried to set me up with a referral to a private dental practice that was non refundable once booked. Seemed incredibly sus. Not helpful at all. Was charged $100 for an xray when I booked in for a free exam/consultation. Horrible service.

Earlier in the day, I went to another dentist for an extraction, but they couldn’t successfully remove the tooth. Even though the extraction failed, they sent me home in pain and told me to wait until the following week to try again. Desperate for relief, I contacted Smile Dental and was able to get an appointment the same day. Dr. Alice and her team were amazing from the moment I arrived. They made me feel comfortable and reassured me that they could help. In less than 10 minutes, Dr. Alice successfully removed the tooth, and I finally felt relief. Dr. Alice was gentle and caring throughout the procedure, making sure I was okay every step of the way. I’m so thankful for the quick and effective care I received at Smile Dental Sylvia Park. If you’re in need of urgent dental care, I highly recommend Dr. Alice and her team, they truly care about their patients and provide excellent service.

I’m anxious whenever I see a dentist & the pain was acute - I can highly recommend him for his patience & professionalism.

Negative experience: I recently visited the Sylvia Park location twice due to the same dental problem, but I got different opinions from two different doctors about the same X-ray taken at Sylvia Park branch. If the doctors were unsure about their advice, they should have consulted a senior colleague to ensure consistency and accuracy in patient care. Given my experience, I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received.

Negative experience: Staff is ok but the way they run their contact centre for appointment for kids is very disappointing. We do appointment once a year and last time they booked us at Sylvia park, came for appointment by spending 45 min in travel, got to know there was no appointment for us. Came today again for 3:30 pm appointment, still waiting to be seen. It is very frustrating as they don't value time

The staff was very professional and accommodating, they made me feel safe and ensured I was comfortable throughout the procedure (dental filling for 2 teeth). I am very happy with my decision my tooth feels great I knew during treatment this dentist was a step above what I am used to. That said, may need to try a few different dentists over time to see who you are most comfortable with as some will be a better fit for your particular dental situation than others. Negative experience: My partner and I recently had an examination and X Rays including scaling and deep cleaning. The cleaning session was okay but not too special. The full examination includes unnecessary photos (I felt pushed to do so) but the full costs are $1,215 for only cleaning sessions in the end for one day. After checking other people's comments and prices at other practices, we are shocked to charge us total cleaning fees & examination of $1,215. I really wonder if they charge us the normal fees and very upset about the fees. We have not done any fillings or other treatments so feel very ripped off. I don't think that I can use such an expensive dental clinic given that these are only consultation and cleaning fees. Would not recommend. Such a traumatic experience with huge costs!

Fantastic experience: A last minute Christmas Eve appointment and Dr Wai Kwun couldn’t have been better with my 85 yr old mothers tooth extraction. His efficiency and empathy in dealing with her is a credit to his professionalism. She has been telling anyone who will listen to go to Smile at Sylvia Park we can’t recommend Dr Kwun enough.

Fantastic experience: I’m usually sooo nervous when it comes to anything dental, but Dr Annie and her team at Smile Dental Sylvia Park have honestly been the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She is extremely patient, friendly, and makes sure to explain everything before going ahead which helps with dental anxiety! She also makes sure to answer any questions to the best of her knowledge. I’ve had fillings, impacted wisdom tooth extraction and root canal treatment with her and she’s been exceptional with it all. I definitely won’t be going to any other dentist and I recommend her to all!

Negative experience: My partner had to see a dentist urgently due to an accident. They told us that we had to pay for the full amount first to get treatment and once the ACC claim comes through they will refund us. They took our account number on the same day. 3 weeks later we still haven’t been refunded so called them to ask when we would get the refund and the lady on the phone said she could see the ACC was approved but had no idea what was going on so told me she would pass the message to her manager to check. I was also told I would get a call back. It has now been over a month and still haven’t got an update or money back.

Fantastic experience: Ever since going to smile dental, I have nothing but praise for smile dental. My dentist is lovely, knowledgeable, kind, caring, supportive and excellent at what she does. I can only assume the rest of the team at Sylvia Park are excellent dentist. I high recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Alice was absolutely amazing, I had chipped/cracked front teeth that she completely restored and left me feeling so much more confident. This was the first time at the dentist I haven't felt any pain. Absolutely lovely to deal with, thank you so much.
