Fantastic experience: Your services are very reasonably priced, and Dr. Rahul and his team are incredibly warm and welcoming. As someone who had a major fear of the dentist, they truly put my mind at ease — they reassured me every step of the way and were incredibly supportive throughout the process. I had 20 teeth removed, my gums remodelled, and dentures fitted — all onsite by their team. The clinic doesn’t have the typical dentist smell, and they even have TVs on the ceiling to help distract you during treatment. For anyone with anxiety, they offer IV sedation (which I personally found helpful), and they use a numbing gel before any injections, so you barely feel a thing. The consultation rooms are private, and your comfort and care are clearly their top priority. I cant thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for bringing back my smile.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service. For the amount payed. Lady at the reception (kusner) rude.we left because of this. Dentist had a full argument with worker. Don’t go here

The receptionist Bimal has been amazing throughout my teeth journey, I came in a couple of weeks ago my teeth were so bad I had to have 5 extractions,5 fillings and a immediate denture for my job. Dr Esha Arora and her assistant swati have been amazing everyone at Hamilton Dental Emergency not only worked together to save my teeth. The team were efficient, considerate, gentle and they allowed me also the space to process what was happening If you have had a traumatic dental experience before I advise you let bimal know so they can better comfort you throughout your dental journey I am blessed that for the first time in 5years I have my smile back, no holes and my mouth isn’t sore.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this dental practice. I visited due to a swelling under my ear and jaw, and instead of thoroughly investigating the issue, the dentist immediately suggested a root canal on a tooth that wasn’t even causing me pain. When I explained this, she asked about the pain location and, without proper examination, decided to remove my wisdom tooth instead. After the procedure, the swelling and pain worsened, spreading to my ear, neck, and face. When I contacted the clinic, they told me to apply cold compressions, which did nothing as my condition deteriorated. I returned, and only then did they acknowledge the severity of my situation, saying it was “life-threatening” and that I needed to go to Waikato Hospital. Getting a referral letter was unnecessarily difficult, and once at the hospital, I learned that the issue wasn’t even related to my wisdom tooth. The infection was in my salivary gland, and removing the tooth had caused the infection to spread further, leading to hospitalization. This ordeal caused immense stress—not just for me but for my family. My husband had to fly in from Melbourne to care for our child while I was hospitalized. The unnecessary procedure also came with a hefty price tag: $550 for the tooth extraction and an attempted upsell of a $1,500 root canal. This practice seems more focused on making money than on patient care. I cannot recommend them, and I urge others to seek a second opinion before trusting their advice. This experience was traumatising, and I would never return. Greedy to make money will put through a formal complaint

Negative experience: i visited today to see the dentist for my wisdom teeth. I had the worst experience ever and will never recommend to anyone to go and waste your hard work money. The assistant was so busy on her phone and she was not giving any attention what I was asking her. The doctor rahul came with no smile on his face and he seems so rude. It was feeling like he was just showing that he was just interested to make money and not interested giving me any answers at all. If they can't talk to patients nicely then they should sit home. Not recommend to anyone at all.

Fantastic experience: Two days ago I came in and had a tooth extracted. Eisha (sp?) was kind, professional, accommodating, and very skilled. I really appreciate her presence and bedside manner. Fantastic job. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. ----- I had been hit in the face/mouth by a distracted teenager coming around the corner on a scooter. A few minutes later I tried to take a bite of some hummus and I felt that there was something very wrong with my tooth after the collision. It turns out my tooth had broken during the collision. Eisha noted that it certainly "wasn't the hummus' fault," which made me laugh.

Negative experience: I had been to Rahul previously for a filling and he was lovely. He was considerate, kind and caring. Especially over how jittery and anxious i get at the dentist. I have extremely sensitive teeth due to a condition and have always struggled at the dentist. A few months ago now i needed another filling on a different tooth. However this time Rahul was extremely cold, uncaring and rude. To the extent he held my mouth open while he did the filling and barely spoke a word to me. I have never had that experience at any dentist. I left in tears and shaking. I wont be back and i wont be reccomending here anymore. Especially after recent news of the way buisness is ran here.

Negative experience: Thank you for the availability - toothache on a Sunday is no picnic and you were my great hope. You defs get a star for that. Unfortunately, however, a routine extraction became an hour of full-on needles, scalpel and drill dental surgery, which triggered my anxiety before it began and that’s about when the wheels fell off. You know that moment when POV: you are tearful and someone asks you what’s wrong and you burst into tears and say “anxiety” and they abruptly turn away & ignore you… So that happened. Then it quickly became evident, the dental assistant was inexperienced, eg. he had to instruct her every move including ‘suction’, leaving me in one of the most awkward predicaments of needing to swallow & not being able to. He was trying to remain calm & professional, but energy doesn’t lie. He is most probably not aware, but he was doing a lot of tutting, and exasperated sighing, which is incredibly triggering, when it’s your dentist, and he’s on the other end of your tooth and its tricky roots. Yeh nah. I left in shock and am still feeling less than great about the experience tbh. The irony, is there’s another dental clinic next door. I chose this business because the consult fee was less than their neighbours.

Dr. Rahul (Dentist) and Bimal were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plan is actionable and has my best interest in mind.

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice yesterday, as I could not get an appointment with my usual dentist. I was very impressed with the facilities and staff and although I had a difficult extraction it was fairly pain free and quick. The fact they had a panoramic xray machine meant they were able to locate the problem that my own dentist had failed to diagnose correctly. Excellent service all round !

They listened, gave me options and got to work as soon as I confirmed I was happy. They took me through the process, and delivered within the given timeframe. They don't overpromise and underdeliver, they're extremely reasonable with their pricing and they care. I won't go anywhere else but here for my or my families teeth. This is where you want to go for dental help. You'll get skilled, friendly, helpful, incredible staff and an expected outcome.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I have made the effort to leave a review but I had to because if you are on the fence about choosing a dentist look no further. They were helpful over the phone and flexible with timing. After sitting in the chair the dentist could tell I was nervous as I was having a tooth extraction, the assistant held my hand the entire time. They were nice, funny and just made me feel relaxed. I have been to other dentists who are rough and just generally unpleasant but this was neither. We live 3 hours away and I will continue to come back here now for regular treatment! Thanks team.

Fantastic experience: you have no idea how you have changed my life. I had multiple tooth problems when i came in; causing severe issues in my life. Pain, eating problems and mostly affecting my mental health. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror. So embarrassed of myself. You not only helped with my teeth but my anxiety levels. These Guys are life savers. 24hrs ago i was in Extreme Pain from my wisdom Tooth. 2am last night i went to the hospital and waited 6hrs to get pain meds, but left with nothing. i end up going to my GP for pain meds, and i was looking all over the city for a Dentist that could remove my tooth today. As my usual dentist was full for the day and i REALLY needed it out asap. Alot of Dentist told me they cant remove it today because they have to do a consult before making a appointment for the removal... Tho i already had a 2D xray of my all my teeth they would still say i would have to have a consult and then book a another day for the removal.... But Hamilton Dental Emergency Centre came to my rescue. They Looked at my Xray and gave me a appointment today for removal without any fuss. They Saved me MANY possible nights of torture from my wisdom tooth... they did it so Quick, and easy. They Popped the tooth out like it was a Wine Bottle Cork. which was so impressive, when my usual dentist said they would've needed an hour for removal... these guys did it in less than 30mins!

After a very traumatic experience from a local dentist, it took quite some time to be able to trust another dentist again. The knowledgeable advice and discussions prior, during and after treatment to ensure understanding. The efficient and thorough work carried out. The great care and attention to detail taken very seriously and the warm welcoming feeling we continue to receive both over the phone and in person is second to none. We have continued to travel 2 1/2 hours to and from the practice when required for over 4 years now because of the trust we have built and the sense of peace Dr Rahul and his team gives us with their results. Dental can be quite a daunting experience and not to mention that it can be quite pricey for many too. However, rest assured the team here will definitely look after you. Highly recommended! Negative experience: At the beginning, the front office was nice on the phone. Then, alarm bells starting because she was giving clinical advice when her name wasn't in the wall of clinicians' qualifications and my daughter was not looked at by their dentist yet. then, after the dentist check my daughter wants to take time to think about where to have the extraction. This is when the receptionist revealed her true color. She acted like a desperate salesperson employing different tactics like their dentist may not be available in some other times, the other practices have a long list, and that they won't do referral. Indeed, asking for a referral from them is another level of unprofessionalism. My daughter emailed them at least 3 times and no reply. Phone call was a tool for them to justify their failures with lies.

Negative experience: Not helpful at all. Just wanted a tooth removed as it's given me pain for a long time now and everytime I eat, they told me I couldnt have it removed, i was clear what i wanted done and that i didnt need a consultation and the receptionist told me if i knew what tooth i wanted removing that i wouldnt need a consultation. Was told to rub sensitive tooth paste on it, was in there 5 mins and was charged 150...

Fantastic experience: The absolute best Dental Team from start to finish ! My son with special needs had to have his wisdom tooth removed and other treatment including a deep clean. This required IV sedation which I was very apprehensive about doing. I had nothing to worry about !. Everyone is so supportive, caring and professional. My son felt safe, and this was amazing. Negative experience: Quite disappointed, after being recommended to try to get in to this clinic, I called up yesterday to ask what it costs for a check up and xrays for a new client. The person I spoke with was rude, heaved a sigh and then told me the price and before I could even ask about being seen that day (as I'm in a lot of pain) she spoke over me and told me to call Winz to see if I qualify for assistance and hung up. Little did this lady know that my family trust are going to pay for any treatment I need to stop the pain and all I needed was the check up and quote for work that needed done. I ended up going to another clinic who were able to see me that morning and determined that I have an infection in my gums and need my wisdom tooth out. Now on antibiotic treatment and waiting for infection to clear so I can go get the tooth removed.

My dentist and her assistant were both amazing aswell! Would 10/10 recommend. I was looked after from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Fantastic experience: The team at emergency dental clinic were amazing. They were kind and empathetic. My tooth was hard to get out and the doctor was reassuring and talked me down when I got nervous. Karishma was very lovely, offered me her hand when I would get nervous so I could squeeze as hard as I needed (sorry!). She offered words of encouragement and was so kind to me during and after the procedure. She is a very kind soul. Would highly recommend. Thank you team!

Fantastic experience: My fist time going to the the dentist after being too scared from my experience at the school dentist(15+ years ago) The staff are amazing, their work is amazing, i had 4 teeth (including x1 wisdon) pulled out and felt zero pain through the whole procedure, they definitely took good care of me, even now, 1 week later my mouth is painfree and my gums are healing perfectly. Definitely recomend Rahul and his wonderful team.

Fantastic experience: I went in today to get extraction done, my toddler came with me, i was welcomed when i came in by the receptionist Karishma, she was welcoming and so nice to my son, she made him a cup of hot chocolate gave him some biscuits and madarin too!! How amazing is that, she also offered to look after him while i was getting my tooth extracted and she took a good care of him i really appreciate her as she was so helpful i would recommend emergency dental to anyone who wants extraction done and also who wants to feel welcomed, thank alot Karishma

Over the course of recent years, Hamilton Dental Emergency Dentists has been my dental healthcare provider, and my respect for them has only grown over time. Communication between myself and the practice has always been easy, and each question I have asked has been respectfully and patiently answered. Further, each HDED staff member, from reception through to the dental team, has repeatedly proved their own clinical value, by executing their particular role with efficacy and kindness. This is play out within a pristine environment that features the latest in dental and computing technology. To that end, my latest round of oral surgery has produced faultless results. This dental practice also fosters an atmosphere that is rich in manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. This is vital in an environment where patients might feel particularly anxious about an upcoming procedure. They will find that on walking into the surgery, they are greeted so warmly, and with such kindness, that what might otherwise be a routine greeting becomes transformed into an act of genuine and gentle welcome.

Fantastic experience: Another Carer and I came down this morning from Auckland to get our clients teeth pulled out. They showed such care and compassion towards him and were very helpful when it came to giving us enough information post surgery. The staff were very friendly , helpful and totally professional. Fantastic experience: Hamilton dental emergency centre treated my wife krissy bhindi with a tooth pain which unfortunately had to be extracted. Dr Rahul and team were excellent dealing with my wife pain immediately treated her now she is pain free and her smile is coming back he had fixed other teeth as well. Hats off too Dr Rahul and team for treating my wife with extreme care and respect. very understanding Dr who knew exactly what needs to be done and he came to treat my wife on Sunday. thank you so much for doing that. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this practice as I have been with them for many years and they are very professional, friendly, effordable and all the staff from the front desk, nurses and dentists themselves are fantastic I would not go anywhere else. Also just had full dentures made through them also nothing but the best many compliments from friends about them being very natural so again very very happy. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had 3 wisdom teeth and 1 molar removed yesterday under IV sedation, I was very anxious about this but the second I walked into the dental clinic I was supported and reassured the whole time I was there. I have never in my 30 years experienced such great care in any health setting and professionalism. The dentist, nurse and in particular the dental assistant were such lovely humans who really take care of you. I would absolutely recommend them for your dental needs especially if you’re nervous. Considering what I had done I am in very little to no pain today and feel very grateful for my experience. Thankyou to the team, I hope not to see you again but if I do need future dental care you guys are definitely who I will be contacting! Best of luck for the future and again, Thankyou!

I don't enjoy the dentist trips, but since joining my dentist Dr Raul the visit is calm, informative, professional but at the same time serenity feelings come to mind. The staff are very knowledgeable in their career and helpful in any way they can to ensure we as their clients are given their utmost attention and ensuring correct treatment is given for a client. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful visit at Hamilton dental center yesterday. Normally, going to have my teeth seen too is something I don't enjoy at all. The team however are friendly and social and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in the door. Dr. June was so friendly, kind. She was also very informative as to what was going on with my cracked filling and what the next steps would be. I highly recommend this Dental Centre to all. Great team, great service!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! That's all I can say is absolutely amazing. The first time I went in, I had the most painful tooth ache I've ever had in my life. I couldn't eat or sleep and I was swallowing painkillers like lollies. Going to the dentist has always been the scariest thing in my life so I was reluctant to go but it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. The staff made me feel so at ease that I asked them about pricing for the rest of my teeth as I'd been wanting to restore my smile for a long time. I received a quote within minutes and was able to get sedation and 6 teeth pulled almost straight away. I was so terrified but I remember, even while sedated, someone held my hand through the entire process and it was the sweetest gesture anyone could make. I just came back from my second appointment which was a few filling for my front teeth. Again, an amazing experience! I don't think I'll ever go to another dentist again. Yes it may be a little expensive, but the level of care I received was well worth it!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic, courteous, speedy and professional service provided by vimal and Rahul at Hamilton emergency dental centre. I came in to have a chipped tooth filling and was in and out within an hour, spending a mere 25 minutes in the chair! Fantastic value for money.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dental establishment enough. Not only are they accommodating and professional but they really went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I had an issue with a filling falling out and they rescheduled me, repaired the filling, were kind and flexible with rebooking me and did not recharge me. Truly a dental center that values their customers experience. Kris at reception will take care of you and works diligently to get you an appointment that suits you. Sam the dental nurse was so kind and made some funny jokes to ease my anxiety. She is such a gem. And of course the dentist Sam. Not only did he do a fantastic job he provided me with some great information on future dental work and tips for maintaining great dental hygiene.
