Dr. Deepa, Hazel and Ebony are all incredible and I’m very grateful for the great work they’ve done for me. I have horrible teeth so was quite anxious going but both ladies were absolutely amazing every time it started to hurt the stopped straight away and told me to take a little rest. Made sure I understood everything and explained in great detail. Cannot fault for anything! Thank you again

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome had to get a tooth removed as it was preventing me from eating and sleeping, and it was after hours on a Saturday morning, they were thorough and explained everything to me in detail, as I have a heart condition, I followed all there advice after the extraction and on the I needed to over the next few days, no issues at all !! Negative experience: Husband went to get a bridge done, the tooth fell out within a few days, went back, fell out again within a couple of weeks. Only to be told after a few months that he has 3 massive cavities that need to be filled but it cant be done there. No explanations as to why nobody noticed this while they were putting in his bridge. Now the cavities are really big and not sure if it can be filled in, potentially costing way more if it needs a root canal. Trying to work something out that's not a bridge but they refuse to call me back and let me speak to the dentist. No consideration at all about travel costs and no offer for refunds for the shoddy job they've done. they refuse to answer my calls as well.

Negative experience: This dentist is a rip off, got a quote from him to do some work WINZ accepted quote went to get the work done half way through he changes what needs to be done instead of doing a root canal he decides to pull the tooth and charge me an Xtra $900 for a plate, forgetting the fact that he hasn't done the root canal the WINZ quote was for over $2000 when the only work he did was pull a tooth then ask for an Xtra $900, how much more money you need mate, safe to say you won't be touching my teeth again

Fantastic experience: I arrived on time waiting time was minimal staff lovely and friendly dentist was great gentle and explained what was happening I left feeling well looked after. When I rang for appointment waiting time was one working day other dentist 1 month not good when you've got a tooth ache. So that prompt service much appreciated thank-you.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going to Coast Smiles clinic, you get a great insight into your dental health during the checkup with the attention to detail and tips about how to care for your teeth and gums between visits. , Barry has a calm manner, you dont feel rushed, he is always willing to talk to you on the phone if you have follow up questions . Happy with the work I have had done here. The young dental assistants are nice too .

Fantastic experience: I gad an emergency tooth extraction while on holiday on the west coast. This was a difficult extraction which took time. However it was pain free due to having enough pain medication. Barry and team were professional and provided excellent service. While at the same time providing comfortable reassurance. A skillful team I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Great experience on first visit and was asked to leave a review which I did but had terrible experience on next visit with massive over pricing so changing my review. I think the special treatment initially is to get people to leave a great review and to go back, learnt this the hard way.

Fantastic experience: Needed an urgent extraction after tooth broke, got an appointment straight away, Barry was excellent at providing painless local anaesthetic, was very well informed of risks and procedure throughout, extraction was painless, first time I've been put on a HR/Pulse ox machine at a dentist for monitoring which I thought was a really good addition. Staff made contact in days after extraction to check on wellbeing which was lovely and have booked up follow up appointment to get site checked on Barry's recommendation. Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Barry and Yasmin were both professional and externally caring. I’m always up in the hills and find it hard to get all my work done. They made me feel very comfortable and informed with the procedures and didn’t stop to get explain things when asked. Fantastic experience: Was able to get an appointment the next day, to have a denture repaired. I found Dr Subramani very pleasant and efficient, and informative. The surgery is roomy and very clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Over priced and poor work, rips people off and he hasn’t just ripped off one person Barry is really poor to his untrained staff and I have heard he over charges winz quotes for his own benefit I know for a fact that his sterilisation procedures are most likely not getting followed because I personally know his staff members. In all honesty do not recommend to anyone stay clear from these unprofessionals

Fantastic experience: I wouldn't say going to the dentist is something I enjoy. Though Barry has been ever so patient with me kind and caring and always talks me through the procedures reassuring me along the way. Nice calm clean place to walk into lovely ladies to greet you with a smile! Aftercare excellent! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Second time I've been to see Barry at coast smiles and this time round was extraction of two teeth so was a little nervous but both Barry and his lovely assistant calmed my nerves and made sure I was comfortable. Positive experience: Have seen dentist Barry Subramani twice now. He and his team ( Yasmin and Elicia ) were attentive , gentle and thorough and everything is explained very well. Quite a consultative approach. Yesterday I was seen very promptly after one of my teeth fractured. The procedure was painless. The atmosphere in the clinic is relaxed . It is a nice , sunny roomy space also. The equipment seems to be modern and Dr. Subramani's knowledge seems up-to-date. So I am very satisfied with the care/service I received.

Positive experience: As painless as going to the dentist can be! Barry good at explaining things! Compares well to the numerous dentists I have been to for over 50 years! Fantastic experience: My normal dentist is on leave at the mo, have had tooth ache so rang smiles and they got me in on the same day (life savers!) And treated my problem the following morning, I found barry, kind, caring and I was very relaxed getting my procedure done. The dentist is my worst place to be, but i was extremely comfortable. Fantastic experience: Hi everyone I called all dentists in Greymouth! The only one that was interested in helping me was Coast Smiles Dr Barry. This was a call out as it was a Public holiday and I was in extremely pain. The end was a tooth extraction performed with great expertise by Barry and his assistant. Fantastic experience: My regular dentist was unable to help for months due to lack of staff. My emergency appointment with Barry has turned into a series of appointments to fix my teeth. i will be sticking with him - thorough, friendly and painless.
