Fantastic experience: Had to get 4 wisdom teeth removed was expected to be a simple procedure but ended up being very complicated as one of the teeth was growing sideways and into the jawbone which was very dense and hard to get out it took about 2 and a half hours but the whole time the dentist and the nurse were very re assuring and non judgemental was my first time getting an extraction i would 100% recommend this dentist to any of my friends and family. The price was very reasonable and the day after the dentist gave me a call checking up on my aftercare and what not and made sure everything was algoods thanks a lot smile city for helping me smile again

Fantastic experience: I have visited City Smile Dentist three times ( twice in Feb 2024 and once in November 2024) and have been very pleased with their service. Dentist Richard is highly professional and friendly, and dental assistant Monique was also very helpful and welcoming. Thanks to their excellent care. I highly recommend this clinic for their outstanding service. However, I did have a negative experience with after-hour phone support in Nov 2024, as the staff member I spoke to was rude. (Can't remember her name). Despite this, my overall experience with the clinic itself has been very positive.

Fantastic experience: Took our 3-year-old to City Smile Dental after he knocked his front teeth loose at the playground. They were very helpful over the phone and once we got there, they helped us quickly. The dentist was lovely and made my son feel at ease. He was so gentle with him and explained everything to us as he worked on him. Absolutely lovely!

The dentist was very good with the numbing and made the experience as pleasant as possible. Will be going back! And would highly recommend their dental clinic.

Negative experience: Adding this review again (they deleted my mum's review) because the business clearly wanted to hide it from other potential customers. They know my review exposes the kind of treatment they provide and would rather remove criticism than address their unprofessionalism: My husband's appointment was booked two weeks in advance at 11 AM. On the day of the appointment, their receptionist, Ruby, called my daughter at 10:35 AM, asking if they were going to make it. My daughter responded, "We're on our way," yet the receptionist still asked, "Are you on your way or are you leaving now?" Her tone was rude, and my daughter was confused since they were actually early. When my husband and daughter arrived, my daughter informed Ruby that they had likely mixed up their schedule because the appointment was at 11 AM—confirmed by their own staff—meaning they were early. She only mentioned this so my husband would be properly seen instead of rushed. Instead of taking accountability or de-escalating the situation, Ruby responded, "The dentist can see your dad IF they have time." This was unacceptable. They expected full payment even if my husband wasn't given a proper appointment due to their poor time management. When my daughter raised this concern, Ruby said, "You're only making it harder for your father." This was not just unprofessional but a clear attempt to intimidate her into silence, implying that speaking up would negatively affect my husband's treatment. It was a threat. No customer should ever be treated this way. To make matters worse, the dentist herself was also dismissive. She suggested additional treatment for my husband and reassured them that her colleagues were "nice." In response, my daughter stated that they would seek treatment elsewhere due to the unprofessionalism they had just experienced. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the dentist responded, "I'm only being nice to you, so please," as if she was doing my daughter a favour by simply being polite. Basic courtesy is expected from any professional, yet they acted as if they were above it. This place lacks professionalism, accountability, and respect for its patients. Their attempt to remove my review only reinforces that they care more about their image than improving their service. Never going back and will definitely be warning others to stay away as well.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal procedure done here yesterday - would definitely recommend! I rang the clinic early morning, got a call back shortly after and they booked me in for an emergency consultation within the hour on a Monday morning! Dr Richard asked me what was goin on, performed couple of tests and then offered me options to resolve the issue with my tooth the same day. I found the staff at the clinic to be very professional and caring. I would definitely recommend paying them a visit as you won’t be dissatisfied. Special thanks to Dr Richard and his assistant for fixing my tootache!

Fantastic experience: Got an appointment very quickly. Receptionist is lovely, and dentist finally was able to identify my issue. He was very sympathetic and didn't pressure me into any expensive treatments. Experience was very comforting and helpful.

Negative experience: Went for a sore tooth and was reviewed and referred to a consultant. All this was fine untill the charges, a very expensive dental clinic. I was told by the dentist that I would get a repeat prescription if I needed. They were going to charge me $45 for that. Receptionist Ruby was quite rude as well. Not going back there.

Fantastic experience: Went to City Smile this morning with pain that I was not coping with. Every person in their team was warm and absolutely lovely. I felt listened to and cared for. They saw me a couple of hours after I first called in and my problem is now fixed. Cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been absolutely petrified of going to the dentist since I was a child but needed to get over my fear to get a tooth extracted yesterday. From the get go the staff was helpful, understanding and empathic. I was lucky enough to get in a few hours after contacting them to get it out. Fantastic experience: I first went to City Smile as an emergency patient after breaking my front tooth. As a result of their excellent treatment my husband and I now use City Smile for all of our dental needs. I recently had two teeth extracted by Dr Avikash Prasad. He quickly put me at ease and was so caring and kind before and throughout the procedure. I felt that he really cared about me as a person. He took the time to explain in detail what was to happen which helped put my mind at ease. I was given such amazing service by Dr Avi and his nurses. Fantastic experience: I had the need to have a molar removed on Tuesday 30/4/2024 and was fortunate enough to phone City Smile Dental. The reception staff are bright and welcoming and actually appear to like their work. Avikash Prasad was the dentist I was seeing and I have to admit I am not great at dentists. He was patient and understanding and took the time to ensure my comfort. I had no pain and am impressed with the care and skill Avikash showed. I recommend Avikash 100%. My healing is going well and I am mostly pain free already. I will certainly return to this practise in future.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. I went in for a 10am appointment and was seen almost immediately and was done by 10.30…no waiting around wasting time. The dentist and assistant were very kind and understanding and explained things in way that I would understand. I also had same day treatment, none of this go in get an xray and then make another appointment to get work done. So that was awesome. Bonus marks for having a fire playlist and a tv on the ceiling. Definitely found my new go to!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just had a surgical extraction done here and all I can say is that I HIGHLY recommend this dentist. I am somebody who is very afraid of the dentist, and I have a lot of anxiety about my teeth- but they were all so friendly and helped me get over these fears. The dentist (Richard) who had extracted my tooth was very efficient and had communicated very well with me. I am booked in with another appointment with them because I loved their work ethic so much

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment at 7AM. I was in a lot of pain and needed urgent treatment. The dentist was able to see me at 8:30 (I had never been to this clinic before). They were then able to complete the procedure at 10:45. This is the place to go if you need emergency treatment.

Talked me through everything and had a second plan of action if tooth didn’t come out as we hoped but they got it out in less than a minute! Fantastic experience: Managed to secure a same day appointment to check on pain caused by wisdom tooth. As someone who gets very nervous around dentists, I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the team and how they provided a safe calming environment. In about 30-40 minutes had consult and got tooth removed. They even check in the next day to confirm all is okay. It went far smoother than a previous extraction I had at different dentist. Highly Recommend for anyone who is a bit nervous or just wants to feel like they are valued and cared for!

Fantastic experience: The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. Highly recommend this dental team. I called in a desperate state at 6.30am. Dr Sachin took my call and was very helpful and offered me an appointment the same day. I was treated by Dr Avi Prasad and his assistant Brooke. The dental procedure was fully explained including the cost (which I thought was very reasonable), Dr Prasad manner was very calming and professional. After explaining the issues by showing me an x-ray on screen I was given anesthetic in the area where the tooth that had to be removed was located. Extracting the tooth took less than 2 minutes and other than some minor bleeding from the site for a few hours and some swelling which has now mostly subsided after a day, the whole procedure was quite painless and efficient.. He also prescribed antibiotics and pain relief, But now feeling great after just 36 hours. Highly recommend this dentist.

Totally gentle, checking in with me from time to time to make sure all ok. Caring, considerate. professional and reasonable pricing compared with my previous dentist. Other staff I met were also friendly and helpful. I’ll come back here to Richard for all my dental care now.

Fantastic experience: I visited these guys last November for an urgent inspection on my teeth as my face had swollen from a toothache… The dentists recommendation was immediate action however he was booked for 5 months so he sent an urgent request to the hospital… they ended up taking my wisdom teeth out as well as an infected molar urgently and everything worked out very well. These guys will be my regulars from now on. Thank you for saving me from a very nasty infection!

Fantastic experience: Efficient contact - I had emailed to make an appointment at 3am and was lucky enough to have received a confirmation call the same morning to go in. Efficient service - Dr Avi and his assistant were so well informing during the procedure of removing my wisdom tooth and were persistent with checking on me. Thank you! Well understanding information given with everything that was going on and needing to be done. And considering how busy it would have been especially being a dentist (the only one open on Saturday!) I did not feel at all rushed. Lovely service overall :)

Negative experience: They made my teeth crooked top and bottom, it's been 4months of arguing for him to tell me I just need to get used to them... So I got a second opinion that confirmed what I new was wrong... I then went back and asked for my money back, he said if I can get Some1 to make better teeth, he will give me the money and I have to give back the crooked teeth.... Which I did. Negative experience: I had an exam and a clean done. The exam went well. The clean did not. After a first look in my mouth - she said my teeth were pretty clean and to keep doing what I was doing at home. She scrapped between them a bit and then a lot more. Scrapping so hard it jolted my head. I trusted the process but I shouldn't have. Turns out she scrapped off a large amount of the enamel as well, meaning that as soon as the numbing gel wore off - I was in intense pain. I cant chew or bite with any of my teeth from the eye teeth forward. Looking in the mirror you can see the dark lines where the enamel is gone. After speaking with my normal dentist (who happened to be booked out which is why I didn't use them this time) I know that basically my only option is to pay to get more work done elsewhere so I can eat and drink again while not in pain. While both people were lovely to deal with and the exam went well - I am in severe pain from the 'clean'.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and efficient. Richard spent about 75mins doing 2 surgical extractions and a filling, this was terrifying for me but he soothed me through it and it was relatively easy and painless. Great job.
