Fantastic experience: I was recommended this place by a work colleague. Having severe pain, an infection and a lot of anxiety about going to any dentist, I had to be brave and go. I was met with very friendly staff. I was seen by Sam who from the start made me feel comfortable first and calmed my fears by explaining the procedure carefully ensuring I understood. In a matter of minutes it was all done (tooth extraction) and I didn't even realise it was over. Super fantastic service. Dentistry has come along way to what I remembered and feared it to be. Thank you Sam amd Team.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extracted here. First time ever! I was so scared & nervous but the doctor was so nice about it, we did some breathing exercises and she was so professional the whole time. I felt very well looked after. I’ll be returning in 6 months for a follow up but would recommend this clinic 200% for anyone with anxiety problems & the like. Parking was bad asf but that has to do with the medical centre not the dental clinic itself, you can park at the Westfield mall across the street for free. (120mins) The practice is also wheelchair accessible.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the team at Smile Dental in Manukau. I had sent an email the night before and they managed to fit me in the next day. The team were efficient, friendly and helpful. I arrived early for my appointment and most clinics make me wait a while but I was taken in shortly after. I usually don’t like going to the dentist but Dr.Sam had a friendly personality and was really great in making me feel comfortable. Very happy with their service and I believe I found my new dentist! A++ service!

Fantastic experience: Uhm need them to be 10 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emaculate service . The reception ladies were so kind and attentive. I'm not that old but I couldn't work after-pay and the wonderful ladies helped me, thank you for your patience my dears. And to Dr Sam, the man and pro. I am a big person but I don't like doctors. He made my experience comfortable and safe. By explaining everything properly with patience . When he did the anesthesia,he checked if I was definitely numbed before commencing an extraction. Doing x-ray was quick and easy. The amount I paid dependent on my situation was 390(incl$40 x-ray) of one tooth extraction. for root canal therapy it costs $1000 + which is fair given the procedure. You have winz option, pay in full or after pay(make sure to load up the after-pay card onto you phone either via wallet or app). I had a wisdom tooth next to the one being taken out, and only a small piece remained(idk was keeping it as a souvenir) which Dr Sam removed for free(now don't go expecting freebies, this piece was micro.)Thank you for that Doc. Boost them y'all. But boost good oral hygiene practices and body.

But that all changed so fast when the surgeon on site was very professional and caring . The process was so fast and very painless in getting 2 extractions done . I would highly recommend and will definitely only visit that dentist if needed in the future .

Positive experience: I was very happy with the work that was carried out. I paid a bit more then what I would have if I didn't need my tooth out on the day so considering they were able to extract my tooth immediately, the price was appropriate.

They do afterpay which is a bonus - Dr Stella Yanlu Feng from Manukau Branch took exceptional care of me, reassured me and provided detailed descriptions of aftercare as well as referring me to specialists. Negative experience: Absolutely useless. I went to them to make an appointment and booked for 30th December and even asked them "are you sure you're open on the 30th December?" they said yes. On the 30th December I turn up and they're bloody closed. I even got the text reminder etc. Even says if I don't confirm they will charge me $50 lol. Where's my $50 for wasting my time? Useless.

Positive experience: I recently had a teeth cleaning at Smile Dental in Manukau, originally priced at $450, but I received a $50 discount. Dr. Sam was exceptionally informative, providing clear explanations throughout the process, which was a refreshing change from my previous dentist. 3 stars because I thought the price for the treatment was abit steep.

He explained everything thoroughly and gave me options. Unfortunately my tooth needed an extraction which at the end cost me $397 which also included an x-ray. I thought that was reasonable. Would definitely come back again ☺️

Negative experience: Worst ever clinic I visited. Took lots of money, but the job was done in 5 minutes. This Chinese dentist was like yeah all done and I asked him in 5 minutes? Don't ever want to visit them ever and not recommend for my family or friends.

Negative experience: Terrible response from headoffice (or whoever this person was which I should have gotten a name). Rang to reschedule (not cancel) as last min staffing shortage at work (explained to the person on the phone). First response was she'll let the dentist know but threatened that there might be a cancellation fee. I mean I get it but I'm rescheduling, which this person then said it's the same thing. Please don't read from a script and show more personality I.e. case by case not every customer should be spoken with the same tone or manner. You're not a robot. Also didn't really offer to rescheduled. Tried to hang up on me as quickly as she could after realizing how annoyed I was. Needless to say I've been going to Smile Dental but won't be again.

Positive experience: Had moved neighbourhood recently and needed fairly urgent treatment so tried this place at the medical centre opposite Westfield Manukau (was previously a patient at Smile Dental Sylvia Park). Was impressed with service and they got the job done promptly and efficiently. Besides the tooth pain I had before going, it wasn't too painful on the wallet I suppose. Getting any dental issue fixed early is key.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sam was really helpful. I felt comfortable and relaxed. He properly discussed my health and results from the exam, and broke it down for me in simple terms. I had been experiencing bleeding gums but after a thorough clean, the bleeding has since stopped. Would definitely visit again. EDIT: Have made my annual check up and Dr Sam is still efficient and professional as the first time.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at the Manukau branch for a couple years now, it is sometimes difficult to understand and communicate with staff there. I have also been putting money aside weekly for the last 6 months in to the dental account reffered to myself but is not in their system which is very unusual, it may be a tech issue im not sure but it isnt very helpful customer care. Overall OK service.
