Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is not my favourite thing but I had a very sore tooth that came on quickly & was able to get in the same day that I rang luckily and was put with dentist - Khusbu Patel - she was absolutely wonderful and professional and caring. Which is what I needed. Found the issue, root canal completed in 2 days (side note was leaving for an overseas 6 week trip in less than a week). Will have to get crown on my return. She asked how I was the whole way through and gave my jaw a wee break throughout the procedure. She also gave me the pros and cons of what was happening. Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience at Coast Dental. Everyone is friendly, professional and well organised. I initially went in when I was experiencing a lot of pain associated with my wisdom teeth and proceeded to have an extraction, Dr. Zain did a fantastic job! He made me feel at ease through the entire process and was gentle! I expected to be in a lot of pain after the extraction, however my recovery is going amazing and I have only a small ache on the one side. All of my future dental work will be done through Coast Dental and I will be bringing my own family to them going forward. Thank you Coast Dental and Dr. Zain - highest praises to you!

Fantastic experience: Yelena, great oral hygienist, tried to be as gentle as possible (while still getting the job done) & mentioned a few times how she has access to numbing gel so I should just shout if my gums are hurting, numbing gel helped a lot so it was mostly a bearable experience.

Positive experience: I had an unpleasant experience at Coast Dental in 2023 when I had gum inflammation and possible infection. The dentist who saw me was an older man with an uncaring expression. He refused to even examine my gums. Just told me to make an appointment with a hygienist. He should have examined me and should have told me to see my GP and get some antibiotics and medication before booking an appointment with a hygienist. One of the receptionists was a really nice lady but the other two were cold and expressionless. I had my cleaning done there but I was glad to get out of there. Will never go to them again. Their branch in Hinemoa street is a much better care provider.

Fantastic experience: As a confirmed dental coward, I can only praise Coast dental for their empathetic and professional way that they treat their parents. The 'wonderful vibe' is clearly evident from the booking online with a follow up call to check on how you are. The treatement process was superb. The care and attention to detail from all the staff is humbling. Sara was my orthodontist today and put me at ease from the 'get go.' I had a comprehensive dental checkup, hygiene treatment, and a filling done by Dr. Zain. Later, due to an infection, I was referred to Senior Dentist Dr. Sudeep Raju. Both dentists provided excellent care. Dr. Sudeep’s expertise made the procedure so seamless that I almost forgot about my dental issue altogether. A huge thank you, Dr. Sudeep!
