Fantastic experience: It started with an urgent appointment and has ended with me making Naenae Dental Clinic my forever dental practice. It is such a welcoming and professional practice which would put the most nervous person at ease. Even the informative but humorous video in the waiting area calms the nerves. Dr. Loan Kim Vu is by far the best dentist I have ever had. She is so informative and professional but is also very patient and understanding of my wants and needs. She uses the very best equipment with such precision and Casey, her professional assistant, works seamlessly alongside, with her gentle and calming manner. Congratulations Naenae Dental Clinic for all that you have to offer with the very best equipment and for the way the practice is designed and organised with smiling and attentive staff. Negative experience: I feel so ripped off by these guys. I went in for my appointment for a full oral cleaning. He only cleaned the bottom side then he said I sould see the Dentist first for a second appointment before cleaning the top side next. So following week I went back for my second appointment little that I know my partner have already paid for the oral cleaning again for the bottom side. But that appointment was actually just seeing the dentist. Anyways went in for the second time that cost me $250. After a 15mins session with dentist he recommends just going for implants so I agree n that will cost me 6k. Anyways I was expecting cleaning afterwards but there was none. I asked the front desk if that really cost me $250 n she said yes because they have to use the big xray machine n I was like...wow what a way to rip you off. I feel like the young dude that's doing the oral cleaning is getting them alot of money for doing a shit job of cleaning one side for only 15mins then convice you to see the Dentist next. At least do the cleaning then suggest the patient what's next if needed. I left very angry n disappointed. I would not go there again. If you're thinking of booking for a oral cleaning make sure u book with a dentist not that young dude that's making money for them. He doesn't even do a good job he does a very shit job just for cleaning the teeths

Negative experience: Ive had a really bad experience at this clinic. They're are money scammers. I've booked for a full dental hygienist which is i thought is going to be a full treatment for one day. They done the bottom jaw for the first appointment and tell me to book for another appointment to do the the upper jaw as their is not enugh time. The oral hygienist will talk you out of your main appointment and you end up running out of time to complete the treatment. Be aware of their tactics as you my end up doing a complete different treatment from the one you're agree to do and it will cost you in the future. If the oral hygienist trying to tell bullshit just tell him to do the first treatment first then talk later as I've just found out that's what they normally do.

Fantastic experience: I came to Naenae Dental Clinic more than nervous; I had a phobia. I am 69 nearing retirement and was very nervous. I was treated with understanding and respect. I am overweight and was very anxious. I thank the staff, reception and especially thank Dr Byron and Dr Sally for watching over me as I underwent active sedation. I was previously denied this and hence left my teeth and gums to suffer. Naenae Dental led me carefully and with consideration what to expect. The follow-up was constant, and the expectations explained fully. All done and dusted, and I have complete confidence in going back again, especially after the Active Sedation. No pain, no noise, just relaxed and exactly as they explained. I could hear directions, that were calmly given. I was made comfortable and felt totally trustworthy of those overseeing my comfort and wellbeing. Totally impressed with the professionalism and humour. I enjoyed perversely the experience after the trauma of visits to other dental facilities. Thank you especially to Dr Byron, and Dr Sally. I love you guys! Fantastic experience: I am in the process of getting an implant, with the first step being the removal of the failed tooth and the placement of the implant sleave. Having had the tooth form ore than 55 years was apprehensive about the pain and discomfort the procedure might bring. However Dr Ashish was so good I had no pain or discomfort. Absolutely brilliant and professional in the utmost. I could not recommend more highly.

Negative experience: I visited this clinic for a long-overdue teeth cleaning, paying for a full hour. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The hygienist was not only rude but also arrogant, making a few snarky remarks that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the cleaning lasted only about 30 minutes, even though I had paid for the full hour. When I asked about this, the hygienist told me he only does "what needs to be done," yet I was still charged the full price. A couple of weeks later, I went to a different dentist for a routine checkup. They informed me that I had significant tartar buildup on my back teeth and recommended another cleaning. This just confirmed my doubts about the quality of the cleaning I received here. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: While staying in Lower Hutt I had a dental problem so after many years of avoiding going to dentists I made an appointment with Dr Loan who walked me though the best procedure going forward I can’t fault the treatment I received After I was under the care of Akruti who even though she knew how nervous I was helped me through being fitted for new implant dentures and follow up to ensure all was well I would recommend Naenae Dental clinic & staff to anyone who needs dental treatment

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist but the team here are so nice and reassuring, especially Akruti. I have never had a quote given where all follow up was included. I had to return on a number of occasions and there was no cost added. The first quote given, was the last. I was so nervous but the whole team made the process from having teeth removed to having new ones fitted like a well oiled machine, nothing was too much trouble everything was great in the end. I would fully recommend the Naenae dentist team. Thank you

Abhishek Kumar was my dental technician, and was so kind and patient, explaining everything to me, and doing a thorough check and clean of my teeth. He is very gentle and I had no pain, just some mild discomfort. I have had bad dental experiences in the past which is why I have put it off for so long, but now I have found Naenae Dental Clinic I will be having regular appointments again. I would highly recommend Abhi and the clinic.

Fantastic experience: Not often I will write a review for a Dentist as never really had positive things to say, however the care I received at Naenae is second to none. Dr Ash is always caring and patient and today I went in with quite a lot of pain not knowing where it was coming from. Dr Ahmad and Dr Ash found what the issue was and Dr Ahmad fixed it for me pain free. Thank you to all the other exceptional staff there as well.

Turned out to be an abscess and the clinic booked me in the same day I called for urgent care. Great draining of abscess followed by hefty antibiotics and and extremely good price too! My regular Dunedin dentist at smart dental was very impressed with their work. As was I ! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Dr Loan is amazing - she has seen me over the last few months as I've had issues with my teeth. She is super nice and understanding, her work is excellent and she always makes sure the treatment is in my best interest (rather than just trying to up-sell). She has worked with me to start aligners and make a long-term plan to restore my teeth, I really appreciate how much time she has put into this and I am very glad to have her as my dentist. Also her office vibe is super nice and relaxing, and Kasey is the best dental assistant!

Fantastic experience: For context I hadn't gone to a dentist in like 8 years lol. (After you turn 18 it gets kinda expenny). But I've been here about 3 times in the last month or so for 1) Initial Assessment 2) Hygiene 3) Filling. The lads that I've had throughout the process are hilarious and make going to the dentist totally not lame. From the reception to the dental assistants, the entire team is professional and friendly. The initial assessment from Ahmad was straightforward, thorough, and easy to understand and he kept it hella entertaining. Shout out the GOAT Justin Boy for his masterpiece on my hygiene, my teeth have not looked this shiny since kindergarten and his work on my filling was a breeze. Absolute gc throughout. My only wish is that they were closer to where I live but they are worth the comute. If the prices were lower that would be lit too, but it's dentistry so can't complain. I will be back for sure.

Negative experience: I just left the reception of the clinic. I booked an appointment online last night, waited this morning to receive the confirmation email displaying the time and even the name of the dentist I would have the appointment with. I arrived at reception to be told that I don’t have an appointment and that I need to wait 2 hours for the next appointment available. I live 30 minutes away so it was a waste of time and gas. Very poor form, the reception person just apologized and I was on my way. Wow.

Fantastic experience: Broke my tooth last night and reluctantly had to visit the clinic today. From the telephone discussions, to walking in the door to leaving the experience was absolutely 5 star with exquisite care and detail. I have not experienced such great service anywhere else in NZ. Even five star hotels can learn from this clinic. Dr Byron and his assistant were both amazing. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work. And yes I also left pain free.

Fantastic experience: I cant even express how wonderful my dentist is, my biggest insecurity is my teeth because it is a constant reminder of how bad things were for me once apon a time. However, when I went in my dentist was really understanding and positive and made sure I was well informed and had a proper understanding of how, why, and what comes next. She had the perfect balance of caring and understanding but also was very professional, this extended through to each staff member I came in contact with. Regarding the service I've received, I'm very happy, my dentist went above and beyond and I can see a huge difference. I'm aware of my plan ahead to good oral health and I'm not anxious to go to any further appointments, the reception has also been extremely helpful in providing me with my documents I've requested and the dentist assistants I have encountered were also very kind. The environment is beautiful, I walked in and expected to be in a ordinary dentist but to my surprise it was very high class and clean, I noticed that the machinery seemed very high tech but not daunting at all. I feel very lucky to have stumbled across them when I was looking for a dentistry and I couldn't recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 stars I absolutely would.

Overall, the staff are very professional, courteous and the facility itself is excellent. 5/5 However, the constant rebooking of appointments (often multiple times), irrelevant marketing communication for services already provided is simply frustrating. This aspect has really gone down hill in the last 12 months. 1/5 From a cost perspective they are on the higher end of the local market but the quality of work is high. 4/5 Overall 3.5/5.0

Fantastic experience: Had a chipped tooth over the weekend, they were able to see me within a few hours. Had to come back the following day for a crown Every staff member was so friendly and welcoming, a long time since I have seen such amazing customer service. I was well informed of the procedure, how it was to be done and how long it would take. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here. Let's start by saying I own a tattoo studio, presumption and less than stellar customer service is something that unfortunately comes with looking the way I do. After being messed around for weeks from another dentist who presumed i was finacially incapable of any procedures on offer, and then tried to upsell me into a $20,000 set of braces once they found i had health insurance.... rather than remedy the exposed nerves I was left to live with ($205 consultation btw) I contacted naenae via online booking last Saturday and managed to get a Monday 12pm appointment. At my appointment I was treated with absolute respect and care by everyone from reception through to the dentist and amazing dental assistant. I left by 1pm Monday with minimal pain, and a procedure site that hasn't required any pain management since Wednesday evening. I would 100% recommend this team to anyone looking to be treated like a human being, and not being judged by appearance. I'll be sure to recommend you to all of our customers. Thanks team

Fantastic experience: I am a terrible paitent, I am seriously upset just thinking about a dentist let alone going to one. I needed treatment and the only one I could get into was Naenae. From the first initial friendly contact from the front team to the dentist I was incredibly impressed. He explained everything to me and I did explain to him how I cope by crying, thats what I do and I didn't want him to be upset by this. He was very understanding, kept me informed of everything he was doing, asked how I was coping. I can not recommend this team highly enough. Fantastic experience: When I first went to the dental hygienist Justin Boy a few years ago my gums was in a very bad state. It was constantly bleeding and inflamed. He has helped me get my gums to a healthy place which is such an amazing feeling. He is always friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him and that is why I go every 6 months.

Fantastic experience: I have a fear of going to the dentists ,from when I was a child, due to dental nurses at my primary school. They were ruthless. I went to the dentist at Naenae Dental clinic,My Dentist I saw Yee Haw was amazing. He made it as pleasant and pain free. He and his assistant where very caring and did a wonderful Job of my broken tooth.

Fantastic experience: I used Naenae Dental Clinics services yesterday when I had severe toothache. I was able to get an appointment with Dr Yee late morning and he was very kind and caring to me. He explained exactly what he was going to do along with the associated costs. I ended up having to have the tooth extracted and he did a fantastic job with that. He assistant was also lovely and made me feel comfortable. I was impressed by the service, cleanliness, the time they took to explain everything, along with costs. I even had a follow up phone call today to check how I was feeling. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr Yee, his assistant and the dental centre. From the front desk through to the dentist and his assistant to the follow up call today - absolutely A1 service. Cannot fault them at all and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needed dental care.

Negative experience: Highly recommend going somewhere else for fillings.I felt over charged for a filling that made my bottom tooth chip over the course of a couple months. I did leave and it was crooked which is probably the reason for the chip and I should have spoke up but was too shy at the time

Fantastic experience: I started my journey at the Naenae Dental Clinic during the covid period and found it a very caring and welcoming Clinic. After having some extensive work done with great care I also required a new denture and was put under the care of Akruti Tataria. Akruti went above and beyond to accommodate me and to ensure that it was made with a high standard and was very empathetic towards me as her client and understood how important it was to ensure that the denture was comfy and felt like it was part of your normal teeth. I found Akruti caring and kind and would highly recommend Akruti to anyone needing dentures.

Fantastic experience: Personally I had trust issues with dental clinics, but Dr Ahmed Al-hassiny was the guy I needed to meet. I was referred by a friend when I needed a root canal. Sure enough he did a great job. Fair pricing compared to what everyone else was charging but I love your work bro. Keep up the good work and changing the world.

Fantastic experience: I decided this year I would get my teeth sorted after procrastinating for too long. From the initial consultation, and now after numerous appointments I have had nothing but positive experiences. I have been treated by Dr Chris Mo and his assistant Melrose. All the staff are so friendly and the reception staff run bu Lucinda are all very communicative and professional. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: Please read the negative reviews first as they are far more indicative of the level of care you'll recieve here. I went in for a filling to my back tooth and was greeted by a very angry dentist when he realised the damage to the tooth was worse than he had anticipated (based on a consultation that happened a week prior). I told him I could come back another time as he was behaving very aggressively and he said no I would be charged for the procedure regardless. He was very angry with me about the state of the tooth. I should mention his hygienist said i had the cleanest teeth she had seen in a long time and that I must care for them very well. He filed down my tooth to the point he damaged my gum and now the tooth causes regular pain and discomfort. Now that i have seen the other reviews I know that I am not the only one to recieve an unacceptable level of care and feel a duty to warn others to hopefully save them the trouble. I am posting this under my married name in the hope of avoiding a breach of my patient confidentiality as I can see that posting personal medical information has often been used as a response to any unfavorable reviews which is also extremely unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I normally use and highly recommend the Central Hutt Dental who are part of the same business yet I needed to use the Naenae clinic during the weekend. I felt confident knowing this before going there for my urgent need and so pleased I did. I am continuously impressed with their speed, professionalism and care. They are truly worth every cent.

Fantastic experience: I had one of my best dental hygiene experiences ever, two days after my normal hygiene session I trusted Justin to do a Zoom whitening on my teeth, what a wonderful magic he did, I had never been happier with a whitening result ever before, He is a real magician, Now after three days, all the normal sensitivities are gone and am left with unbelievable white teeth, with not a single remaining of any stain, cant say how happy I am, I was a heavy smoker for 25 years and you can imagine how bad my teeth would have been, but now, it looks like I have never had any germs or stain on my teeth ever before, I cant believe it, I have to admit it was just a little more than normal pain doing a Zoom Whitening but the results are fabulous, no pain no gain right ? :D thanks heaps Justin, I fully recommend to everyone with yellow teeth to try this, the price is also good, Justin was so patient with me during the whole session, checking on me while I was going through the process, thanks heaps again Justin , you are a true magical experienced doctor and you Rock \m/

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for professional treatment at a reasonable cost this is the place to go. I felt more like a guest, the FOC are very polite and professional, no wait time for my appointments, Dr Neil and Aadi explained my treatment and costs, everything was transparent and you are able to see the costings and what treatments you require due to the extensive range of equipment they have available. If you are apprehensive about seeing a dentist this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Justin at Naenae clinic. As a first time patient I was very pleased with my hygienist treatment and experience. Justin was very thorough and knowledgeable which made me comfortable. He was gentle during my hygienist clean and helped me understand the process. He had great communication and helped ease my nerves with his lovely sense of humour. He mentioned the option of laser for my ulcer I had during my visit which I advised was causing me pain. He advised me the laser process which I didn’t know existed. I received the laser treatment which did not hurt surprisingly. Immediately after the laser I felt relief and as the day progressed I no longer had the stinging pain. A day later I still have no pain from the ulcer, it’s as if I never had one. If I wasn’t moving over seas I would schedule all and any hygienist cleans with Justin. He really is amazing at what he does. Thank you Naenae clinic. I would recommend you to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Justin has provided me with a great hygiene experience everytime, the passion he has for his profession is clear and my teeth and gums feel amazing after treatment. Painless treatment provided by Dr Ahmad and Blanche, they checked in on me regularly to make sure i was comfortable and it was an added bonus to catch up on my favorite Netflix show.

Negative experience: My experience wasn't great and would not recommend them. Without any proper treatment for my dental issue, they charged an exorbitant amount for their services. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and overcharged for nothing. I would advise anyone looking for a dental practice to find one that values their patients and provides quality care at a fair price."

Fantastic experience: After an hour the faulty dental filling was replaced with a implant in one session, I can recommend the treatment, nice staff :))))))

Negative experience: Prices are too high compared to other dental clinics for consultation, x-ray, and for small filling. Otherwise nice staff and service.

Fantastic experience: Went to the dentist today for wisdom tooth. Very professional service and nicely done. All procedures were explained to me and without any pain my tooth was removed. Highly recommend it to anyone who is worried about wisdom tooth removal.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Dr Neil Vijayaraj and the team at Naenae Dental. I fractured one of my front teeth in Nov 2021, and in the year that followed, Neil and the team have helped me take the necessary steps to get my smile back. Extremely professional and personable, they explained every step of the process and the possible outcomes, answered my many questions along the way, and comforted me when it all felt too overwhelming. The follow up calls from Lou after each big appointment - making sure I was ok and managing any pain, and to check if I had any questions or concerns - just added to what was overall a great experience. I can't say thank you enough!

Fantastic experience: With trepidation I arrived for my appointment to be met with smiling receptionists, great atmosphere and cool graphics on screen in waiting area. From beginning to end this turned out to be a pleasant experience. Dentist Neil and his trusty assistant were efficient, informative and friendly. The offending tooth was removed painlessly and here I am the day after with no pain and good memories. I will return to see the hygienist and cannot recommend this clinic highly enough

Fantastic experience: I chose to use Naenae Dental Centre to start the process of getting an implant done as I had heard good things.This was my first ever visit and I was blown away. From the Customer Service at reception to the way I was made to feel comfortable by Dr Hamid and his technician. I was very happy with the final result of my implant. Fantastic experience: I had an extraction of a wisdom tooth, not the first extraction either but have always been quite a bit anxious going to the Dentist. I didn't think I would ever feel comfortable but having Dr. Minish Kumar as my Dentist has surely put me at ease and I will not be as hesitant with booking in for regular treatment. Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is anxiety inducing for many but you are in safe hands with this clinic and the kind, caring professionals that make up this fantastic team. They take the time to not only ask what is concerning you, understand your dental history and they ask you how you are doing during your appointments. I’ve been fortunate to have worked on a plan with Dr Ahmad to get through my highest priority dental challenges and I trust that the steps we’ve taken has led to the results I have now - my teeth and gums are the healthiest they’ve ever been. I’ve also seen Tia and Justin who are both fantastic, personable Hygenists who’ve taken the time to give me solid recommendations and it’s a delight to visit any of these great humans. If you need to visit the dentist, treat yourself to an amazing clinic and the best in the business who will truly look after you.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of these guys. From day one, when they fixed a broken tooth, to two years on, where I’ve had an implant, a crown and hygenist visits, they have been brilliant. Dr Ahmad is amazing - nothing is too much trouble. Everyone at the practice are friendly and accommodating.

Negative experience: Very friendly staff but I had a front tooth filling done and it came out the same day 30 minutes after my appointment after biting into toast. I’ve had the same filling done many times before and usually lasts for a couple months not 30 minutes

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Naenae Dental for nearly 20 years. The staff are all friendly and try to make the whole process as painless as possible. Whether it's for a regular check up, emergency care or setting up a schedule for treatment - they explain everything thoroughly. The follow up call the next day - just to check to see how you are - is excellent service too!

Fantastic experience: I was so anxious about going to the dentist after putting it off for 10 years, but i really shouldnt have worried as Naenae dental centre really put me at ease and helped me to relax. Dr Hamid and his dental assistant were both friendly, caring and patient with me. They both knew and could see on my face that i had quite bad anxiety about the procedure. They gave me breaks when i needed to and were very supportive. As was Lou, who rang me the next day to see how i was feeling and to give me advice for the next week regarding care of the extraction site. Overall i was extremely happy with the service and i would encourage more people to go there. Plus they are open 7 days which really helps too.

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Ashish Gulati. I had a decayed/twisted wisdom tooth and needed an emergency extraction. I was in so much pain and had sleepless nights. Dr. Gulati made me feel at so much ease and made the extraction such a seamless procedure. Highly recommend this clinic for all your dental needs!

Had a broken tooth extracted and a filling done, was in a lot of pain and managed to get a Sunday appointment last min, I saw Dr Ahmad Al-Hassiny who made the whole appointment comfortable.
