Negative experience: Very poor experience with Dr. Himali McInnes. Waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time. I came in for a finger infection and mentioned slightly high cholesterol, but she didn’t ask any questions, didn’t check my blood pressure, and dismissed my request for a general check-up as a “waste of money.” Worse, she didn’t even prescribe any medication for the infection. I had to go back and ask again, and only then did she reluctantly write one. Felt completely dismissed. Would not recommend Dr. Himali McInnes to anyone

Negative experience: The staff are good. Nurses are good . Doctors are good. But the medical director is on a cost cutting rampage and I went twice to ask for a full medical check and they said the medical director,Katila, wanted to cut costs so could not issue a prescription for a full body.Life is more important than yiur business cutting costs and reaping profits. Disappointed. Withdrawing from three kings

Negative experience: The doctors are great actually and nursing staff are excellent. But the real issue is with the receptionists. Of the receptionist its actually just one person of Indian descent. This is not a race thing nor is it a cultural thing. It is completely netural and only based on service. But this one person is bringing down the whole places image. Utterly the worst experience to visit the doctors because of this one person. Rude, arrogant, speaks with a very strong accent. Simple ask of another option to visiting criteria turns into a nightmare. Again, everything else is fine, heck all other receptionists are fine. Except this one person. If this places wants a better reputation. Change this one receptionist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Himali and Dr Caitlin are the best doctors. They really listen and care and give the best help. They treat me like I'm a person and not just another patient to get rid of. Love them

Fantastic experience: A recent visit to this busy emergency clinic went well. The place was very busy but organised and I was seen by a doctor who extended his regular GP hours to stay and assist in clearing the backlog of accident patients. Everyone was considerate and helpful despite the number of people waiting. Your services are much appreciated.

Negative experience: Worst service ever Cancelled my appointment that I booked last week and the only option is to walk in and wait for hours

Positive experience: came to see Dr Ana Saafi few days ago, my experience was very nice she was very professional, examined thoroughly ask all the right questions and diagnosis was spot on, very impressed, would definitely recommend. one guy at reception was not very helpful though could do better.

Fantastic experience: Good Drs , attentive and caring , quite a busy practice so can be a wait but worth it

Nina Munneke 1 year ago

Negative experience: Spoke to the receptionist named Jill on the phone and she was incredibly rude, she tried to make me feel incompetent and like I should already have the information I was asking her for, even though I had never received it in the first place. A simple request for a claim number that she easily could have given me without making me feel like an idiot. Jill needs an attitude readjustment and more customer service training.

Fantastic experience: Dr Richard Powell went above and beyond in my care. He rang me several times to ensure I was getting better. The reception staff were also very helpful and organised my care quickly.

Positive experience: I was relieved to see a GP last Saturday as I had severe stomach cramps, swollen abdomen and difficulty emptying bowels despite soft stools. Doctor Himali listened, briefly palpated abdomen, asked if I had pain when passing urine (no) and asked for a urine sample, which when produced, was said to contain "white cells". Doctor wrote "dysuria", prescribed antibiotics, said if those did not do the trick, I should get a pelvic ultrasound at Three Kings Radiology (form supplied). After taking several doses of antibiotics I found the symptoms abating, so was impressed with the care I received. But today after finishing the antibiotics I got a text saying I shouldn't have had them as the lab got "no growth" from

Fantastic experience: From the friendly yet efficient receptionist, to the thorough yet kindly triage nurse and then doctor, the care was excellent from start to finish. My grateful thanks to those caring for my foot damaged in a biking accident.

Negative experience: Medical Center without Doctors well only 3 for 50 people or more. Not hand soap in the toilets and not face masks. Really bad level of medical Center. To be clear nothing against the doctors but the management is really poor. 4 hours waiting so If you coming through bring your Pic nic.

Negative experience: Phoned them up asking to make an app't with the nurse, was told no need can just walk in. Went there - was told you cant see a nurse without an appointment. Not recommended.

Negative experience: Getting sick on a weekend is the worse thing that can happen, & getting ripped off while you need urgent medical attention, terrific. Members or non member, no mercy. Tax payers money, dunno where that's going, not here definitely. Two people in the waiting room & wanting me to pay $70.

Negative experience: Idiot doctor didn't pick up my babys middle ear infection, which led to an early onset of Mastoiditis, and we ended up in Starship hospital 4 days later for treatment. Reception staff are also clueless. Nurses are generally really good, and some doctors are great (highly recommend Chris and Ana).

Negative experience: Oo my god if you sick please don’t go here The receptionist is so rude Asian girl who wears mask and yells, she told told me I had to pay $180 for a citizen at 6pm and when I questioned her why so much she got mad and I said I don’t know read the board and I said upon reading it said $80 that’s why I am asking than she said Oo yes $80 PLEASE CHECK BEFORE PAYING , we had a referral so she said we had to pay more I just asked her how much she runs to the docs to Complain about me when I can hear her !!! I just questioned how much I did not say i don’t want to pay !!! Ooo my gosh paid $95 to deal with this rude lady, pls know that we don’t come for fun and we can do without this drama ok!!! Doctor khan was really good and the nurse wss amazing

Negative experience: Waited for two hours for walk in appointment on Friday, and booked appointment on Monday morning instead. Came with a number of issues to ask the doctor who took a long time before he provided the prescription for medication and got charged $15 extra for running out of time. Been a patient for many years but time to change.

Negative experience: Receptionists are the Most clueless staff I’ve seen in this establishment. The fact that a lady walked in and asked to see the doctor she was rudely told To wait. Indian/fijian lady. Is the most rudest I’ve encountered. She asks questions not relevant to the patient. Asking for a passport. Which I don’t know why it’s relevant to show when you’re a citizen. Please don’t waste your time coming here. Please go to the hospital. The nurses however are very helpful and kind towards the people who come here.

Negative experience: I come here on a Sunday with an injured foot and wait for 2.5hrs and after 65 dollars out of the pocket, see one of the worst doctors, Dr. Kazi Khan. Can someone please check this guys qualifications. I asked for a medical for 4 days which will come off my sick leaves and I had to argue for like 20 mins with this guy for it. Least be bit sympathetic as a Doctor when a person in pain ask for a request that won’t go on to do any harm. Then he gets the dates wrong and I had to come back again. Looks like this guy became a doc for the wrong reasons. Disgusting behaviour. Won’t go to this Dr again. I’ve been coming here for years and everyone is very friendly and professional expect this guy. Sorry for the bad review but someone has to say it. Both times I’ve seen this Dr, I felt angry and frustrated.

Zoe Bourke 1 year ago

Negative experience: Would not recommend this practice. Booked a phone consult two weeks in advance, the doctor did not acknowledge the wait when she phoned 20 mins after the appt time. I explained that I was wanting repeat prescriptions for medications I was on under my previous practice. She denied having any record of my old notes and consults, despite me being sent an email confirmation that this had been sent from the old practice. I explained that I had been on the medication long term. She stated they aren’t able to provide any medication without me being seen face to face. If this is the case then it doesn’t make any sense that the practice provides phone consults for initial sessions and it should be made explicitly clear that no medications can be prescribed without someone being seen in person. Overall the doctor was rude and dismissive. I’ll be changing practices and going somewhere more polite and kind.

Negative experience: I've had good experiences with the nurses at Three Kings A&M in the past, where they would take time to make both my baby and me feel comfortable before a vaccination. Unfortunately, this time was different. The nurse was unhelpful and lacked empathy, and my baby cried louder and longer than ever before. It was a very distressing experience for both of us. I hope this feedback helps improve the care provided to other families.

Negative experience: Horrific encounter with one receptionist, rude, condescending, sounds like she hates her job so much and doesn't like talking to people. She will make you feel like a complete idiot! Management seriously needs to look into this person's performance. I’ve seen previous review dated back to a few years ago and surprised she is still at her job! I feel absolutely horrible after speaking to her. Words matter, especially someone working in a front line role dealing with patients on a daily basis, please speak with care and compassion, what you said to someone could have profound impact on someone's life.

Paluck Jain 1 year ago

Negative experience: Even after taking appointment in days in advance, the doctor keeps you waiting for hours. I don't understand the point of appointment if you treat appointments as walk in. if its 15-20 mins wait its understandable, but its always an hour wait. Like we have nothing else to do but wait.

Gaurab Acharya 1 year ago

Negative experience: Seriously? 3 and a half hour to see a doctor? I don’t care how busy you are. Waiting for such time AFTER PAYING $110 is unacceptable. And when you ask for how far am I on the queue, you will be met with an answer “not now, wait” I have been waiting. Thank you for your assistance.

Sukh Deol 1 year ago

Negative experience: Totally disappointed, today i’ll call about medical appointment then she told me you need a registration but i have done before 3 month ago i’ll pay 160$ but she told me you should pay again 110$ . Why ? So that’s why m going to local doctors they are very cheap rather then them

Nina B 1 year ago

Negative experience: Good doctors but rude reception staff. Don’t ask questions because you will be met with a rude answer and made to feel like you are an idiot for asking a question that requires a simple answer.

Negative experience: Malpractise! Went to these guys a year ago after falling at work.diagnosed with bogus condition which doesnt provide cover. Went to hospital ,specialist and orthopedic surgoen, mir, xrays, all gave me same diag which would cover my injurie from work. just not 3 kings! Now acc declined treatment. I cant return to work still due to this. Hopes of providing have all been lost, straining everything. Do your job and do the best for your patients. I certainly didnt get the best medical treatment that every new zealander deserves. standard. Straight fail. B Driscoll.(registered electician)

Negative experience: The doctors are all lovely and so are most of the staff, but Nirbha the receptionist is so incredibly rude. Her manner towards patients and her colleagues is atrocious really creates a bad vibe. Customer service skills and some manners on how to speak to people politely wouldn’t go astray. The way she was talking to her colleague was not acceptable at all and poor form in front of patients.

Negative experience: This lady is extremely disrespectful I don't know how she got hired with this rude behaviour I was talking to her on the phone and she turned of the phone on my face. The lady was talking so rude I wasn't even happy in giving her 1 review but unfortunately I had no choice she needs to fix her rude behaviour because no one is going to come until she isn't kicked out.

Negative experience: Awful place, rude doctors, unprofessional and unhelpful. Go to the hospital, don’t waste your time here. I paid to see a doctor for my sick baby. The doctor did no vital checks and I had to ask for her to take his temperature. Offered no tests and pushed us out the door. I will be asking for a refund. Awfully rude.

Anne Winn 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Totally positive experiences with the Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic. The latest being ongoing treatment for an infected cat bite, which the doctor then sensibly referred to Middlemore Hospital. Great co-ordination between the nurses and doctors, very thorough and I felt confident in their management of the issue. The nurses were particularly diligent in dressing the wound. People who are complaining about wait times, need to realise that is right across the public system and no reflection on the individual centres. You expect to wait for after hours treatment. Thank you for your care!

Positive experience: We went to the A&E clinic on Saturday for an urgent accident visit and cannot really find fault with service or treatment at all. Receptionist Shak, was very polite and informative. The nurse and doctor were both very professional. Thank you. I rated it 4, as there's always room for improvement :)

Negative experience: If possible to give minus 5 rating I would have given to this clinic. No wonder why they got such a low google ratings. If you want to be treated with respect, dignity and feel cared about, please do not come here!! The attitude of receptionist name "Mia" is extremely rude even she doesn't know how to speak politely or (use please/thank you) with patients. The way she behaves it feels like we have been living in the third world country, not in NZ. I was the one who wrote huge praises with 5 star Google ratings couple of years ago and now it's a total flip. I never expected that I'll be change my review here but thumbs down because of her

Negative experience: Waited 2 hours for a repeat prescription. The guy behind reception is smug and no help at all

Prabhakar Rao 2 years ago

Negative experience: Turned up at approximately 11:33 for my 11:40 appointment. The person at reception could not find my booking so she turned to another lady and then found it and then I heard her say "I Don't know what to do with this" to another lady. Then they conversed for a few minutes and then I heard her say something like " I think I see the appointment I'll just put it in the system" and she kept asking the other person for assistance(I don't have a problem with that - better to get it all right before seeing the GP). After waiting for what seemed eternity (actually 47 minutes to be exact) I got up and walked out as I needed to be back at work by 1:15pm. The funny thing is as you sit in the waiting room and gaze at the TV there is a ticker tape scrolling across the bottom which says "Book your appointment to avoid delay". My feedback is aimed at the terrible system they have of dealing with people who are unwell. Just learn to be straight forward and honest. I don't care how busy any place is just set the expectations right and COMMUNICATE!!!! with the patient. Some maybe (as in my case) be enduring serious pain. I sincerely hope the Three Kings Accident & Medical Centre review their procedures and train their reception personnel in handling booking.

Negative experience: The place is always busy so the staff try to get done with you as quickly as they possibly can. Not all but some of the receptionist can be very rude sometimes.

Rebecca Wood 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: I’ve always felt welcomed and my health issues acknowledged by the staff here. Every doctor and nurse I have seen has been kind, respectful and eager to help. The receptionists are always efficient and straight to the point. It’s easy to get an appointment using the online system and overall my experience has been seamless. I understand there are sometimes wait times but that’s the same with everywhere and I would not put the service down for that. I am most appreciative of the service and being seen. Thank you for all you do.

Negative experience: Very unpleasant experience here, my GP is in Christchurch and I’m visiting Auckland , I went to the after hours clinic at 6:30 and was told my issue wasn’t urgent and i won’t be able to see a someone. Very disappointing because I needed to get access to PEP after finding out I was exposed to HIV a day after it happening and for it to be effective it needs to be taken with urgency. I explained my issue to the doctor in the entrance , which was very uncomfortable as there was people beside me, would of like to be taken aside, was very unprofessional in my view. With her response being, so what’s your symptoms and being told I’m not going to see you or direct you to another clinic to be seen and should book with my own GP regardless of my GP being in Christchurch and it requiring urgency and it being time sensitive to prevent contracting HIV, which I explained to her. I was just following advice from multiple credible foundations, which states to go to urgent clinics or GP but I obviously couldn’t access my GP and even going to the emergency departments at hospitals as soon as you can. This experience here just made the situation worse in a time I was very worried. Would not recommend. I understand there was others with more immediate symptoms but would of been happy to wait instead of what happened. Not sure why it’s advertised as opened till 8pm when turning away people at 6:30

Negative experience: My mum has been dealing with pain since 8 months ago, and they only realised that it might be best to see a specialist 2 months ago. However with the public health system as it is, the wait time for that is another 4 months or so... When she called the receptionist if they could assist with expediting the process, she said my mum had to come in to see the doctor for them to write another referral... She decided not to make the appointment, and got hanged up. Simply dealing with a medical staff that has no empathy for the situation she is in.

Negative experience: Dissatisfied with most visits at this clinic. UPDATE**** I’ve been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease years later. I wish these doctors would have investigated further back then, even a simple referral would have helped.**** Very inconclusive. Happy to write out scripts though lacking motivation to find any diagnosis or root of cause. Googling symptoms shows complete lack of education. However my experience with Dr Vanisi Prestcott was fantastic - Unfortunately her hours are limited. Choose your doctor wisely at this clinic.

Negative experience: One waits for three hours to get to the doctor, you are already in pain, and then when you are advised X-rays guess what The radiology is not functional, It will take 1 hour and 30 minutes more for the X-ray depart to be open for the day, the story doesn't end there by the time you're done with x-ray it's time for the doctor to leave. And it's called an accident and medical center,? The doctor and nurses are good but kindly consider a patient who is in pain. And can't for 5 hours to get the treatment started.

K 2 years ago

Negative experience: The doctor Khan is kinda rude and impatient. I just double check with him to make sure I understand right. He shook his head and explained to me. And also he didn’t listen to me what happened to me and kept interrupting me. I know the appt is only 15m, but I don’t think I even reached for 15m long.

egg planet 2 years ago

Negative experience: This one receptionist was just SO RUDE. I asked a simple question and she made me feel so incompetent for even asking. The process to get a single x ray was painful, I'd rather have gone home with my fracture. The doctors and nurse are good, just the process to get to one was so painful.

Callum Brown 2 years ago

Positive experience: Doctor is good and thoughtful. Receptionists however need to be more aware. I arrived for an X-ray and was told to go and sit and wait. I wasted almost 3 hours total in the waiting room as nobody bothered to check I was waiting. I had to go and ask how much longer it would be and was told I shouldn't have had to wait at all and was sent to the right area for the X-ray which was finally done very quickly. Could have been avoided if the receptionist wasn't rude and explained what I had to do instead of sending me off to the waiting room and forgetting about me.

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Our GP hours are weekdays 8-6pm. Rest of the hours are urgentcare hours. When most urgentcare clinics around Auckland close down due to staff issues on a weekly basis, we have been able to keep the clinic open. to provide service (Yet not funded for after-hrs service). Most people are still greatful for that. Weekends/afterhrs can get unexpectedly busy when other clinics around close down. We have to send patients to Auckland ED if thats the case. You may get seen less than 4hrs if you are lucky. We are sorry you/wife had to wait a long time. Actual queue can be longer than the number of patients you see in the waiting room.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Three Kings A & E Clinic for the first time today (Sunday 23rd April 2023) for a sinus infection and I was very impressed with all three staff that I dealt with. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, the nurse was very efficient and thorough and the doctor was extremely professional and thorough. He was great with his examination, explanations and consequent prescribing of what I desperately needed and he did not rush the consultation at all. Definitely a 10/10 experience for me and the waiting time was not too bad considering it was a Sunday morning.

Positive experience: no mask ,no entry, no exceptions, no problem. even if shortness of breath is the reason for your visit you must wear a mask easy enough to change to another practive, prior to that was very convenient the staff and doctors and nurses helpful and friendly and competent very convenient parking and open in the weekends and you can walk in without a booking so a great place mostly if you have a chronic issue with lungs best to try somewhere else. they are out of step with the rest of the country in regard to mask use otherwise here is great

Positive experience: Very busy clinic. Good range of services, affordable. I would say a great provider for the price point. But given how busy they are, expect 90% of your appointments to be fine, 10% a mistake, misbooking eg. On the odd occasions something has been missed, they always rectify for me. Would recommend

Fantastic experience: I have two stories from this past year that I would like to share. At the end of April this year, I came into Three Kings Medical because I had come off my moped in the traffic and broken my arm. The care I received I could not fault! I was looked after by the Charge Nurse Amanda, and another nurse Rebecca and the care they took to cast my arm was amazing! They were extremely professional, and explained to me the procedure they were going to do, and what I needed to do over the coming weeks and answered all my questions in my slightly delirious state. I was so impressed with them! Nothing was too much trouble! Then, at the start of November I came in for a ruptured achilles from playing soccer, and was seen by Dr Rakesh Premkumar and a nurse named Elly. Same experience. Dr Rakesh explained my injury to me, answering all my questions and referring me to a specialist that I was going to need. Same with Elly- fitting me for my boot, answering more of my questions and making sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Both were amazing, and extremely professional! Thank you!
My GP at TKM is Dr. Kate Harrison, and cant recommend her enough! Another amazing professional in the field, who is patient, kind and takes a lot of care! If I am honest, earlier in the year I did really struggle with the reception team. Managing the appointments, and lacking in good communication. When I came back in November though, everything had changed and it was a really good experience! So a great big thank you to ALL OF YOU who are apart of the team at TKM. Thank you for all the work you do in our community, looking after us! I imagine you don’t get anywhere near the recognition you all deserve! Im just sorry I didnt write this sooner!

Negative experience: Guys I’m sorry but as a mother of a 1 year old I need to be able to book things in and trust that it will happen. The administration is all over the place - nobody is talking to each other. I’ve had to call 5 times to confirm a booking I know I made and paid for but the admin system makes everything seem very confusing when it doesn’t need to be.

Negative experience: Older Kiwi lady with glasses is most rude receptionist I have ever encountered. Payed $85 to be spoken to like I was a nuisance even being there. Learn how to treat people.

Negative experience: Three Kings A&M has changed. I have registered with it for several years and I did see many good doctors and lovely nurses there. But I noticed it is changed recent year(s). On Tuesday, I waited in car for 2hours and GP saw me 5 minutes. She gave me prescription and told me to come back if symptoms don’t be released. The tablet and syrup don’t work on my symptoms 3 days. But I don’t like to be back to the GP by waiting another 2 hours. Instead I’d rather to get medicine from Countdown pharmacy.

Negative experience: I called the reception at 2.03pm yesterday (12/10/2022). I'm having covid and suddenly my baby 7 months started crying and I noticed she was having fever too. I was panic and called The A&E Three Kings. The receptionist was very very rude and had ZERO empathy at my situation! Seriously shame on you! I didn't manage to take her name but the date and that time, you guys can retrieve the call. My daughter was not registered with them. So, the first thing you should ask is "Has your daughter been here?/is she registered with us?" SIMPLE!NOT JUST STRAIGHT AWAY ASK FOR HER 1ST NAME AND LAST NAME! Of course it won't appear in your system! Next time if you don't like to work just call in sick and stay home!

Negative experience: Showed up with my 3year old daughter and 6year old and was told they would be charged $55 each as not enrolled and needed to be seen for medical, with a 1hr 30min wait time, asked to double check - Shocking. Went to Avondale White Cross and it was free. Just checked website and it says $35 for 3yr old - please do better.

Negative experience: If I prebooked my appointment , why do I need to wait for more than two hours?

Jesse Willis 3 years ago

Negative experience: I wish 0 stars was an option, we came here on a Saturday and waited 1.5 hours as, hobbled In on 1 leg and nobody seemed to even ask if we wanted a wheel chair or anything. But saw the doctor for 5 mins for him to give us Panadol, a leg sleeve and crutches and told to come in tomorrow for an X-Ray, we come in before the X-ray hours and waited and still got seen after another patient who got there after us. Then to top it off we had to wait for the doctor after the X-ray for a consult only AGAIN’ to see 4 patients get seen before us WHO ENTERED THE BUILDING AFTER US? How? It’s completely random or the doctor and receptionist pick based on their mood. I even expressed my annoyance and they just said, we don’t know sorry. just disappointed

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

HI Jesse, Waiting times in the weekend and after hours is high. If the receptionists saw you limping, they will usually offer a wheelchair. It doesn't take a lot of time to give a plan for a sprain/injury and basically most injuries needs x rays, supports and analgesia till we come into an exact diagnosis. Patients will be seen according to the time of arrival or the triage priority, Please remember there can be patients waiting outside in the car and home before you, who s waiting to be called inside. Any higher priority patient will be seen earlier. These are standard Urgent-care clinic protocols.

Negative experience: Firstly, Worst customer service ever on earth! Receptionist lady wearing prescription glasses is very rude! Followed by another Caucasian male worker who was extremely rude as well. Please treat everyone with equal respect. You people pick and choose who will receive a certain type of response & respect! Unfair. The energy in that room is dull, dark and uninviting! Please educate your staff members on how to have better customer service. Staff members at reception looked like they didn’t want to be at work. ‍♀️‍♀️

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Hi Ruby, We constantly update staff regarding procedures, policies and customer service. I don't think the receptionist would pick on anyone. Receptionists are doing a great job which is not easy, dealing with a large number of patients, requests and phone calls. I have taken your feedback onboard.

Negative experience: Such a horrible/terrible service. Noboby came to see even after waiting for 4hrs. Longer wait than a hospital

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Hi Sanjeeb, We have called you at 2.32. You didn't reply and went into voicemail. Walk in clinic can get busy too especially with the current demand with the flu and some other urgentcare clinic s being closed. I understand that there s wait. But not answering wont help. Its best you talk to the reception directly when there s a problem regarding the wait.

Kay S. 3 years ago

Negative experience: Let’s start from the reception first! Service from the reception staff is appalling. If you call on a weekend closer to closing time they never pick up, If you walk-in please never do, waiting is more than 2 hours for a medical center who’s got that many doctors. Also they add charges to your account as they wish, when you ask they don’t have an answer. Someone from the accounts department called me to sort it out & ultimately discovered that was their staff’s fault. The only reason I come here because of me & my children’s GPs, nothing else! Overall there are better places provide better services.

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Hi Kay, We open during the weekend or 6-8 pm with a limited staff to provide urgent care to patients who visit, So the priority is mainly for the patients who are in the clinic. It can be busy during closing time and the only receptionist may not be able to answer all phone calls depending on how busy it is. I agree that there have been long waits in the walk-in service which is normal during the post covid season for almost all clinics and ED that provide urgent care. A large number of patients turn up at our clinic and we try and accommodate all without turning them away as much as possible. The staff work hard to keep up with the demand in this time of staff shortage all over. If there are any errors, please email us, so we can sort them out.

Negative experience: Wasted $100 just to get misdiagnosed by kate Harrison. Was told I have gout and given a booklet on the matter. I quickly skimmed through the booklet pointing out to her I have none of those symptoms (swelling, redness, sore to touch etc) just to be told I think you do. Also couldn't prescribe medication asked for. Went to hospital after and did tests and x-ray saying it wasn't gout Also able to prescribe my medication. What a joke. Be carefull with this practice.

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

I am not sure what you are complaining about, There is no misdiagnosis. Gout doesn't always have the typical features of what's mentioned. The medicine prescribed was for the pain and an anti-inflammatory. An X-ray cannot rule out gout. The hospital asked you to take the same medicine that the doctor gave you. We do not prescribe certain controlled medications for casual patients (non-enrolled patients) which is not meant for the problem you came in for anyway.

Negative experience: Poor triage system, no priorty to toddlers. bad communication between nurse and front desk.very casual behaviour.had to wait for 1.5 hours in car park before nurse called to see (same experience on 2 separate visits). If the wait time is 45 minutes they should atleast book you in before starting from home , not after arriving in car park. Poor excuses for slow service, dog ate my homework Paid online for phone consult. Doctor called after many hours and seemed to be in a rush Declined to give prescription for antibiotics and instead advised to wait for seven days as he judged it is just viral. I even told him I have to travel next week. He should imagine that if I get worse after seven days it will still take me hours to get that prescription while feeling miserable . An efficient method would have been to issue me a prescription and advice me to take it on the 7th day. Paid $19 for a 2 minute useless phonecall. These guys need to be trained in Toyota lean system as part of medical training.

Hi Saurabh. We have a Urgentcare standard approved triage system and is been monitored that it works. Triaging according to age will prioritise infants and certain medical conditions and symptoms. I accept there have been waiting times of over an hour due to high demand. We are trying our best to provide the necessary care to all patients. You can book an appointment to see a doctor or join the queue, to be seen earlier. (Available online)

Negative experience: I wish there was a 0 star choice, but there isn't one. They are not deserving of the title "doctor." The worst hospital I've ever seen. I was permitted to wait with my sick daughter for three hours in the visitors' area, they are still same and no more humanity

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

HI Isaac, Waiting times in the urgent-care clinic has been longer than normal as some clinics were short staffed and had longer wait times. The patients tend to come to us. The winter this year had been one of the worst. The doctors and nurses work hard to keep up with the demand and try to see all sick patients who turn up and I accept your frustration.

Negative experience: Feel disappointed as visited dr. himali maclinnes when i booed before on her advance But then she call me she only can do phone call my visit at phone I not expect like this way The receiption should tell me in advance I rather visit other one if they do patients like this way she even not knowing my injury badly i should never book this doctor again

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Hi Lisa, We don't see that you've made any booking with Dr McInnes or even seen her. Doctors see patients face to face unless the patient prefers a phone consultation or the doctors unwell and is working from home. If they are working from home, we will be letting you know. You could write to us directly with exact details.

Matthew Scarlett 3 years ago

Negative experience: My wife went here feeling pretty crook. Ended up being charged $100 for a 5 minute phone conversation whilst she sat in the carpark. The Dr did a very generic diagnosis prescribed some generic antibiotics and waved her goodbye. The antibiotics did nothing so we saw our family Dr. He was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and found that my wife had glandular fever and was actually pretty sick. I would only come back if I had literally no other option. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not happy and absolutely don't recommend.

Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic
Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic

Hi Matthew, Our usual process is that we do a RAT test while you are waiting and see the patient face to face. We could give you a refund and investigate your concern about unprofessionalism. The main treatment is supportive for viral infections/glandular fever etc. Could you please write to us? [email protected]

Fantastic experience: Three Kings Accident and Medical is my GP for a more than 3 years now after moving from a clinic in city center. I have seen wonderful nurses and doctors and all have been very professional, very polite, helpful and kind. I always book my consultation with Dr Rakesh Premkumar who has always made me feel safe and comfortable in my visits, taking the time to understand my situation and being very thorough in follow ups. He was very helpful in diagnosing a non-symptomatic renal cancer for my father in law which really helped us find the right treatment later in his home country at the right time.Thank you Dr. Rakesh. Other members of my family also visit here and have all had positive experiences with doctors and nurses. I would definitely recommend this place.
