Fantastic experience: On Monday 5th May 2025, I (George Drew) had a tooth filled by Svetlana. Both myself and my wife Jenny, have had cause to use these services recently. Both of us found that from the moment we walked in, the receptionist was friendly and very professional - as was the Dental assistant that worked with Svetlana. The procedure was painless and very professional. The finished product amazing. I am 70 years old and can honestly say Svetlana is the best dentist I have used.

Fantastic experience: An excellent dentist who genuinely cares about his patients and emphasizes the importance of oral hygiene for tooth longevity. Have been going to CM Dental for 3 years. My family members, who have had very expensive and unnecessary work done by other dentists, have been set right by Martin resulting in minimal ongoing costs and stress. Fantastic experience: I would like to say a big thank you to Dr. Martin and his team once again. I had two major procedures within six months to fix one big and two small dental issues. In short, all the work was completed to the high standard, my smile and full eating function are back! The hardest case was a crown for my highly used second molar. Three dentists had previously rejected this difficult procedure. The issue lasted for a year and had been "fixed" four times before, but each time, the result was a weak filling that kept cracking, even from eating bread or chips, leaving me with half of my mouth’s function lost. Dr. Martin successfully installed the crown, and it has been working perfectly for six months now! I appreciate your service in Henderson.

Fantastic experience: Had a Wisdom Tooth playing up that was causing my gum to hurt. Eating cold foods and chocolate was a real pain. Martin took X-rays and found a huge decaying hole in it. He removed it and I was surprised that I had no pain throughout the extraction. Very professionally done. Went back for an exam and clean. Also professionally done by Martin and assistant. No pain and was very pleased with the result. I recommend CM Dental as they have my full confidence. Well done Martin and the team!

Fantastic experience: I'm so pleased to be back in Martin's care after a brief time away. When you need an emergency dentist, you take the one that's available and follow a path with them. I was very unhappy and got back to him as soon as I could. Where other dentists were quick to suggest root canals and crowns, Martin took a thorough history, acquired imaging and notes from other dentists to get a full understanding of the tooth in question. He suggested a specialist referral, where risks and sustainability of treatment were considered. I landed up with an extraction. I was terrified as I had been in ongoing pain for months, however Martin has a way of putting one at ease with his quirky sense of humour. Other than the necessary yanking, I didn't feel a thing and am recovering well. Martin is pragmatic and thinks bigger picture. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I made an appointment with them for my 4yo daughter who needed urgent dental work. I specifically mentioned that I needed an appointment THAT day as it was the only day I had off work and it was urgent. I turned up to their clinic to find no one there - door locked, lights off and car park empty. My daughter and I stood outside in the rain for 10mins attempting to get a hold of someone on the phone but no answer. This was really unfortunate when I needed a reliable dental clinic for urgent work.
We have no record of an appointment being made for a child in pain that we have not kept, I routinely open early ,late or run late having booked a child in pain into a fully booked day to care for kids. We however have patients turning up on the wrong day either a week before or after appointments or the wrong time I suggest to you the error is closer to home. regards Martin J Cribbin

Fantastic experience: A really easy and smooth process with CM Dental. My permanent retainer had partially come off and I was having trouble making appointments with other dentists. I saw the good reviews online and sent a request for an appointment. I was given a quote that day and booked for the next day. Dr Martin was educational and informative without being condescending. His team are super friendly and accommodating - Helena especially!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank nor rate CM Dental and Martin's work highly enough. After developing a tooth ache in a broken tooth of mine and being in a fair amount of pain. I needed to have it sorted out as soon as possible. Martin was able to see me on short notice and sorted it all out for me on the day. Explaining everything before and after. Negative experience: Weird vibe in this place. Made me feel uncomfortable; as if being at the dentist isn't uncomfortable enough. I really didn't like the way the woman spoke to staff. Popped in to schedule an appointment but just couldn't go through with it; ended up walking out. As family orientated as they claim to be, yeh nah, think I will stick with good old Smile Dental. Re: your ‘A’ for effort response; um I am a real person, and I didn’t post review the same day I visited, so yeh nice try. I notice I’m not alone re: whomever this nasty employee/employer woman is. Coincidence? Your guys attitude still sux btw. Might be time to retire Martin? Leave it to the Asians and Indians.
Karyn has now for the second time amended her review of October 2021, she has replaced "Lady Dentist" in this sentence with women "I really didn't like the way the woman spoke to staff."' Plus conceded she wrote the review not on the day more like a Year after any alleged visit ! When again at the time the practice was closed in the Covid lockdowns, Karyn now implies it could have ben a staff member speaking to a staff member !!!! Yeah Right lets move the goal posts . Karyn has an unusual name if you do a Google search could be the same Karyn Abrahase who also works at a school in in the third Year classes in Massey and gives it five star review ! Our Karyn also then reviews other local schools poorly. Very professional and balanced. As to my age and whether I should retire I am sixty two still with 20/20 vision, hands don't shake and I am in good health. Fully up to date with my Continued professional development. As to Karyn's comments regarding my Asian and Indian colleagues I admit confusion unless Karyn is racially stereotyping me and my colleagues. For those reading Karyn's review context is needed she initially posted a review in October 2021 not recently but has updated it! We were closed due to level 4 lockdown at the time. The review relate to a "lady" dentist addressing staff at reception, the receptionist from November 2019 until March 2022 was a male Andrew Cribbin my son and that of the one the female dentists and the brother of the other ! plus would have to had occurred before March 9th 2020 as The receptionists mother left at that date! Both female dentists get on with him well they are extremely close. The staff on reception prior to November 2019 were not related to either Lady dentists but were on very good terms with them three of the four attended the Lady dentists wedding! However I note Karyn would have to have written her review over a year after she could physically seen a lady dentist speak to staff allegedly poorly. I however note Karyn has written more than one review mentioning Smile Dental coincidence? Dear Karyn forgive me if I suspect that your review is fake or at least very suspect as New Zealand experienced a lockdown in October 2021. On August 17, 2021, New Zealand moved to alert level 4, entering a nationwide lockdown for a minimum of three days due to a new community case presumed to be infected with the Delta variant of the virus 1. This lockdown was implemented as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of COVID-19. Subsequently, on September 1, 2021, Auckland and the Northland Region remained on Alert Level 4, while the rest of the country transitioned into Alert Level 3 1. The lockdown measures were adjusted based on the evolving situation, and Auckland eventually moved out of the highest alert level after nearly five weeks 2. The pandemic response in New Zealand during 2021 involved a series of lockdowns, restrictions, and adjustments to manage the spread of COVID-19. As dentists in Auckland we could not work at level 4 lockdown! If you attended to book an appointment you make no allowances for the largest pandemic in 100 years and the associate stresses that places on health cate professionals I remain friends with all the staff at the time they are friends while they have either gone on an OE or started studying midwifery. regards Martin J Cribbin

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Martin more highly. Came to him after getting a quote from another dentist. Turns out I didn’t need the treatment the initial dentist recommended. 8 years on and I’m still super happy. Very reasonable pricing too which is a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I started to go to CM Dental to Martin Cribbin about a decade ago. I had some bad experiences with some local dentists. I have seen Martin for fillings, extractions, root canal the works, he is highly experienced and does only work he deems necessary. They are also very reasonably priced. I would not want to go anywhere else! If you are looking for a dentist please give them a try.

Fantastic experience: I first went to CM Dental in 2021 after two decades of neglecting my teeth where Martin and the team were able to restore my smile and replace my missing teeth and not once did I feel judged for not seeing a dentist for twenty years. Had my annual check up tonight and needed some small repairs but Martin will not do work that isn't absolutely necessary and I fully trust his experience and expertise with my teeth. If.you need work done or just need a check up I would highly recommend CM Dental and there relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Martin at CM Dental for a number of years now, affordable dentistry, and friendly, staff, the variable hours are a plus with appointments available outside of normal working hours. Affordable implants too, no need to go to Thailand or take out an extra mortgage! Website needs updating though, the other partners are no longer in the business

Fantastic experience: I was nervous regarding my molar extraction, but Martin looked after me totally, in fact I enjoyed myself chit chatting about this and that and the extraction was a mere nothing. So happy to have found a truly professional and really cost effective dentist. Dont pay through the teeth, come and see CM Dental, you will be pleased you did. One of my best dental experiences yet and Ive had many! Takes a lot to make me happy, im picky about a lot of things and can be very grumpy but Martin was really great, couldnt fault him. Fantastic experience: Came here needing a filling, dentists scare me and anything medical scares me not to mention I have a horrible needle phobia so coming in to get a filling is a triple whammy fear for me. Martin was not only so patient with Me he was so understanding and in the end I didn't even feel the injection best dentist I've ever had super patient and kind. The receptionist and dental assistant were also so sweet making sure I was okay through the whole thing. Whole experience was 10/10 would definitely recommend him to other friends and family.
