Fantastic experience: Had x2 Wisdom teeth surgically removed today, one being impacted and severely infected. The team at Smile dental quoted me $1400 to remove which was very cheap and affordable considering other places quoted me $2000-$3000+. The whole procedure took less than the 1.5hr they expected and was surprisingly pain free the whole time. Left with very little swelling and pain is very unnoticeable even 2 hours after Thanks Team @ Smile Dental Onehunga. You were all very lovely and professional.

Fantastic experience: My first visit at Smile Dental was excellent. I felt looked after and cared for all through out my visit. I had a quick and painless clean today. Dr Paul and Ms Pavi is a dynamic duo. What a great team! Both were warm, professional and personable. Dr Paul explained the procedure in detail as well as the cost it entails. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Mixed feelings. Expensive. :) Good health education at the time, which was much appreciated. As far as I can tell -perfectly adequate care and assessment. Pleasant staff in person. :( I require a mouth guard for teeth grinding and was quoted 3x what I have been quoted elsewhere. When I asked about other options for guards, he said this was the best and gave no alternative. I had already indicated I was going to have to save financially to return. I was quoted by smile dental over the phone $500-700 - but this was $975. My experience was then soured considerably by a receptionist who didn't listen and cut me off multiple times when I called to clarify/gain further understanding. (She also did not want to facilitate any opportunity for alternative options or rationale, or for my feedback to be given so in future people in financial hardship may be able to access the care they need). Fantastic experience: I had all 4 wisdom tooth extracted from Smile Dental and Dr. Vickery did a great job for the extraction and Pavi was great at coordinating the schedules for appointment and x-rays, and they are both are informative, reassuring and mindful throughout the process. They were adaptable and careful with the procedure despite the complexity of my teeth's condition. I would recommend them to family and friends!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. The dentist was able to squeeze me in for a last minute day of appt to give me a consultation and filling. He managed to fill my tooth with my 18 month old in the room who definitely was not still for the filling. He even interacted with him some to reassure him while it was happening which was so helpful. They had a box of toys for him too. The filling was quick and professional. It did cost about 50 dollars more than I was quoted elsewhere, but the quality of service was definitely worth the price difference.

Fantastic experience: Memories of dental clinics for me from the 70s harbours great childhood trauma. My visit today alleviated all of my concern. I was talked through the procedure and what the instruments meant as the Dentist worked. The precautions and placement of his fingers that protected my mouth. I felt reassured and safe. I truly appreciate the work done on my teeth today and highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Smile Dental Onehunga branch. I recently had a crown fitted and the whole experience was painless and took a lot less time than I expected. I had visited two other dental clinics for the same tooth and, for one reason or another, neither of them had given me the confidence I needed to go ahead and get the work done. Dr Paul Vickery is the gentlest dentist I have ever visited and his nurse Pavi is also very kind and welcoming - they work together well and make a great team. I'll definitely be using them as my regular dental clinic from now on.

I've had bad dental experiences when I was younger in the Islands and have always had anxiety in the presence of dentists. In the last 5 years it's gotten worse. I was suffering from severe toothache for the last week and through Google found out that Smile Dental provided emergency pain relief for dental problems.....just like Greenlanes Dental Clinical Center ... My dentist was Dr Paul Vickery who was quick, efficient, compassionate and in my opinion amazing. I didn't feel pain and he was genuinely calm...which eventually rubbed off on me..along with his super efficient, empathetic, professional and gracious assistant Pavi they were an amazing duo. Pavi was super supportive as my anxiety caused me to grab her hand, take deep breaths as I struggled to control the urge to run and hold back tears. They made it seem like nothing was happening...normal day at the office...I was super grateful...I'm moving my family to this practice ....thank you so much for not just relieving the pain but also saving my tooth...Mari

Fantastic experience: My visit to Smile Dental was a very good experience. I was met by a very professional nurse who took my details then showed me to the room where the procedure would take place. I was met by the Dentist who made me comfortable and explained what would be done, then took a x ray and proceeded to make me comfortable. He then explained what he would be doing while he was doing it which helped me to stay calm and in what seemed like minutes my tooth was extracted. He then gave me instructions to follow when I got home and over the next 2 days and if I had any concerns to contact them. All in all I give them 10/10 for customer service and Professionalism. Fantastic experience: This was the first time I had been to Smile Dental - Onehunga and immediately I was put at ease, Ravi made me feel welcome and Dr Paul was very professional, he listened to my concerns then explained the next steps. Each time I went I was warmly welcomed with a smile (even behind the masks)and treated with respect. I forgot to say I had dentures replaced,a full upper and partial lower. These teeth are fantastic and very natural looking and after a small tweak fit perfectly. I highly recommend Smile for any denture needs.I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Paul and Ravi to anyone with the slightest anxiety.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted & served by the friendly & professional team. I bite off a tiny section of my molar tooth & was worried if I needed a filing. Dr Paul provided with a professional advice that a filing won’t last long with that size, as long as it didn’t feel anything then better keep it that way. However he did grind out the sharp corners of the bite n clean my teeth. Also he answered all my queries about my teeth in a concise way. At the end of the day I was very happy with their service & I was able to smile again! Strongly recommended!

Fantastic experience: So I thought my wisdom tooth was slowly coming out crooked, which caused some slight pain when I would eat, so I decided to lookup a dentist and found really great reviews from Smile Dental in Onehunga. I then decided to pop in to see if I could make an appointment, which I was lucky enough to be seen right after I had filled out some paperwork! I got some x-rays done and found that I had an extra tooth growing above my wisdom tooth, which I was not expecting at all, and Dr Paul recommended it to be extracted, to which I had agreed. I made an appointment that suited me best. On the day of extraction I was taken in and got told of the procedure that Dr Paul and his colleague would go through. The process was very professional and I couldn't be happier. After the anesthetic wore off, I didn't feel any pain around the extraction site, which I was relieved but can't guarantee it for everyone, as I believe my extra tooth wasn't connected to any nerves or bone. Either way, the team at Smile Dental in Onehunga is the place I would recommend to visit for your oral care, with their friendly and professional work!
