Fantastic experience: I visited Sunnynook Dentist today for all 4 wisdom teeth extraction - firstly, everywhere else was quoting me $2-3.1k and I managed to get all 4 out for a lot cheaper than that (AND THEY HAD AFTERPAY!!!) Secondly, Dr Akshay was so efficient, I did not feel a thing aside from a bit of pressure with my bottom 2 - he injected the anaesthesia so effortlessly with no prick or pain for me and extracted the top two within minutes. I was surprised they were out when he said they were. Lastly, everyone working there was so friendly but also thorough in explaining the aftercare. I am so happy with my experience here that I will be using this dental clinic for everything dental related in the future. Thank you so much!

My family have been clients for a few years now and have had experience with 3 of their core Dentists, who have all been outstanding. Good online booking system, knowledgeable and helpful reception/front of house. Professional, skilled, friendly, affordable. The North Shore is lucky to have them in the area.

Was surprised I didn’t need to be put to sleep as that is the feedback I had got from other dentists, but incredibly I didn’t feel a thing. Positive experience: I've booked the X-ray check up, clean and polish package. The overall experience was great, however I found the whole treatment was pretty rushed. The cleaning was brief and it didn't remove any of the stains at all (which I hoped it would). I probably should have asked in advance to save the time and money to get it done elsewhere instead. The doctor and the staff are friendly though.

Fantastic experience: Lost a tooth due to a crack and was recommend to see Dr. Lakshay by a friend and got a Dental Implant. Honestly, I was a bit nervous, but he made the whole process feel so chill. He explained everything step by step—and kept me in the loop the whole time. He gave me a definitive quotation and stuck to his quote - no surprises. What I really liked? He didn’t try to sell me a bunch of random stuff I didn’t need. No nonsense here. Just straight-up honest advice and solid work. Prices were fair, and the whole vibe was super friendly. He is a gem of person and being under his care for 4 months, I’ve come to trust him with my teeth from now on. If you need a dentist who knows what they’re doing and keeps it real, Dr. Lakshay is your guy. Fantastic experience: I have just had tooth extraction with Dr. Sherin and Racquel. They did some operations and then gave me a pressure pack and asked me to bite it hard. I thought the pressure pack was used to make my cracked tooth a bit more looser for easier pullout. At the same time, Dr. Sherin told me patiently what I shall do in the next 24 hours and ended up with showing me my broken tooth... I was astonished. You ladies have already had the job done. What a magic! I had prepared mentally to be suffering from the extraction but I even didn't feel anything. Thank you Dr. Sharing and Racquel, you are amazing! Fantastic experience: I'm very impressed with Dr Lakshay Kumar! His no surprises approach, attention to detail, making sure you know what he can do for you, with a no pressure approach is very good. I was weighing up whether to 'invest in my teeth'; I had a couple of chipped front teeth, a few ground down ones, and a gap between the upper two teeth, now I have a lovely smile and eating is more comfortable after several months treatment with Invisalign and some specialised fillings - not veneers. I'm delighted with the result!

Fantastic experience: Dr Sherin Takawi is the best dentist I have ever been to!! I came in for a check up and to my dismay, needed 8 fillings. Dr Sherin made time for me in her busy schedule and I am so glad she did. It took two days to complete my treatment and she couldn’t have made it a better experience. She talked me through everything that was happening, reassured me and chatted to me. The vibe in the room was relaxed and I felt I could ask questions the whole time. Fantastic experience: I didn’t feel very comfortable with my previous dentist in Milford, and changed to sunnynook after reading a few reviews. The team are very welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and most importantly made me feel comfortable. Dr Sherin and Raquel make a great team and they will be and are the only ones I will trust to do anything with my teeth! Speaking from experience, they don’t push you to get unnecessary work done, and make sure that you are informed about everything, so that you can make the best decision for your circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I can not begin to thank the team at Sunnynook Dentists. My son called me in at 2am in tears because of the excruciating pain in his mouth. I emailed the practice on the Sunday evening and did not expect to hear back until the Monday morning. I was totally floored, not only did I get an email back but I got a phone call and and a text to say that pain killers and antibiotics had been prescribed!! This all on a Sunday evening!! On the Monday I got a call that they were able to see him before midday! With in 48 hours of the pain starting. Thank you so very much! I was not expecting this at all. The Sunnynook Dentist team went above and beyond - so very grateful and thankful. Yes my son is in incredibly good hands and being looked after.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a great, well priced dentist that cares about their patients and wont try and lock you in to expensive treatment plans... Sunnynook dentists are the one for you! I put off going to the dentist for 10 years due to a bad experience. Im so grateful I found Dr. Lucky. Hes very calm, talks you through the treatment plans and is quick and efficient. Dr. Lucky has always recommended treatment plans, but never pushed me into a decision. He knows about my dentist- anxiety and lets me decide when im ready to have things done, rather than trying to push me into having things done. Fantastic experience: Dr Lakshay is literally one of the best dentists or rather all round dental experts in NZ. I've been going to him for years since even before he opened this practice. Just had my wisdom tooth pulled which is no easy feat as my tooth bones are very strong. But Lakshay managed it with a breeze. I have 14 root canals and Crowns / Implants so mine is not a simple case. In NZ I only trust Dr Lakshay for my Dental needs. Best Dentist in NZ

Fantastic experience: Had a regular check up, then a few weeks later a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Lakshay 1. So easy to schedule with Sunnynook and didn’t have to wait long for an appointment 2. Affordable and really lovely facilities! 3. So attentive! From the moment you walk in to reception (I had received a phone call because I was a bit late) to the entire time you’re in the dentist chair - I found Dr. Lucky incredibly attuned to my needs. He knew when to take breaks, when to remind me to breath when I was feeling anxious, and shared everything he was doing so there were no surprises. I was very nervous for my extraction and also found his assistants very calming (tapping me lightly to help co-regulate my nervous system) Recommend 100% (even booked my partner in for his check up too)

I have been visiting Dr Sherin and dental nurse Amy for a root canal treatment and repair of old fillings in the past few weeks. Really appreciate the positive and cheerful attitude every time I visit. It helps massively to make me feel at ease throughout the appointment. The care I was given was very professional, the quality of repair looked amazing, and I hardly feel any pain throughout the multiple appointments. I also think the costs were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service provided. Coming from someone who are anxious around dentists and only visit when there are signs of problem, the amazing team at Sunnynook Dentist manages to change that outlook and I am certainly feeling encouraged to do more regular checkups and hygiene treatments! Fantastic experience: Wow, couldn't be happier with this dentist. I had some very challenging problems and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! Great on communication, very skilled, listened and empathised, and great support team too. Very reasonable pricing. It's taken me years to find such a great one!

Fantastic experience: I rarely make reviews but I feel I had to do one for them. The team were very friendly and professional. The moment i stepped in the clinic I felt the warm welcome from the receptionist who juggles between phonecalls and entertaining clients. Great customer service. Then i met my dentist, Dr. William. The most genuine dentist I have met my whole life. He was very honest on what’s going on in my teeth and gums and helped me understand the options I have. For the first time, I never felt forced to do something or get something done. I even initiated to have the cleaning even if he adviced it’s not necessary. All in all, sunnynook dentist is just an amazing experience for me and would highly recommend.

Positive experience: I had a very good experience here with my filings then I got Root Canal treatment that I wasn't happy with. I found that Dr. Lakshay decided to work on me in a rush and in between other appointments. I provided my feedback accordingly. Dr. Lakshay called me personally to discuss and address the issues I had and assured that they will consider my feedback positively and ensure this will not be repeated with any other patients. I appreciate the positive approach taken by Dr.Lakshay and the team. I strongly recommend anyone going for Root canal treatment to ensure the doctor has sufficient time (45 minutes at-least) to operate on you.

However, subsequent to receiving treatment at Sunnynook Dentist, Forrest Hill, North Shore, Auckland, I have great pleasure in rating this the best Clinic. My initial phone-call to make an appointment was received in a friendly manner and obvious to me that Dr Lakshay Kumar has intentions for his Clinic to be a Happy Place. Completion of the administrative documents are clear & concise and the simple explanation of the diagnosis, applicable to the X-ray imaging was impressive. There is a thorough & methodical approach taken by all staff and the Interaction management skills displayed ensures a calmness continues for you feeling in a relaxed state throughout. So gentle was the tooth being extracted I had to be told by Dr Kumar the Tooth was no longer there. Above all, as soon as you enter this Clinic you sense a friendly environment.
