They’re clear and explicit about the costs of care, and they are clear about potential extra costs you might incur if your case becomes complicated. This is great for individuals who are worried about surprise costs of treatment. In general, I got the sense they’re operating an honest dental practice. Matthew was incredible and I highly recommend him. He puts patient comfort first and is extremely clear about costs and treatment options. The receptionist, Storm I believe, is also incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend Grafton Dental!

Fantastic experience: If you want professionalism and dental physicians who actually care then this is the right practice for you. I’ve been to a few dentist and have never had 5 star treatment like this. I was treated with respect and care. The hygienist did a fabulous job, and was throughly methodical. The consultant was amazing, picking up on medical issues and helping provide me with a care plan going forward. The results have boosted my self esteem immensely. The price was a lot more affordable than I had initially thought previous to my appointment. Very affordable and quality care. V and his team are by far hands down amazing.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentists. I have been treated initially by Dr V and had a wonderful result. Needed a treatment again and saw Dr Matthew. He was very calm and communicated well, I had a great experience. This is an excellent dental practice if you need good dentists in Auckland.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Parham Yazdani! After 10 years of regular headaches and intermittent jaw pain, with no answers from other dentists or an ear specialist, Dr Yazdani identified night-time teeth grinding/clenching as the cause. He recommended treatment with a Michigan splint, and within two weeks, my symptoms significantly improved. Six months later, I’m completely pain-free. Dr Yazdani is knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. If you’re dealing with similar issues, I can’t recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: I had a sensitive tooth and I thought it was simply the early stages of a filling. I did a lot of research of Auckland dentists and finally chose Grafton Dental – they have all the latest tech and all the dentists here are well qualified. I had Dr Parham -an expert in this field and he did an amazing job, very detailed & meticulous (which I like) & explained everything clearly. Thankfully I went early to this dentist as it ended up being a cracked tooth which was in the early stages and was still saveable (lesson here is go early and don’t wait hoping your tooth will fix itself!). He did a fantastic restoration of my tooth and I cannot even tell the difference to the before & after result -looks identical. I had no issues with the entire process. Fantastic experience: Having returned from a 4.5 month thruhike and eating way too many banana chips, I was in desperate need of a dentist. I was recommended Grafton Dental by all of my neighbours, so seemed like a good place! I don’t have a particular love of dental visits and suffer from anxiety, but Dr. Parham Yazdani is kind and patient, respectful and gives great advice without being patronising. He is by far the best dentist I have ever had, and I trust him completely as he is clearly passionate and rightfully proud of his work. I am about half way through my much needed treatment now. No doubt the rest of my treatment will be dentist “wizardry” as I refer to it.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Grafton Dental for a long time for all my dental concerns and can't recommend Dr Parham Yazdani enough! All the glowing reviews about him are accurate. It's 100% safe to say that he's the best dentist I've ever seen and given the highest quality of care I've ever had. He's extremely meticulous, thorough, and patient with everything he does. It feels like he has everything down to an art. My fillings were all done perfectly with impressive finesse, even though reach was tricky the entire time. He went above and beyond to help me save my teeth, even giving me detailed advice and instructions for after the appointments so I can maintain them. If it weren't for him, they'd be in a much worse state and I'd have no clue what to do with them after an appointment. Overall, I'd give him ten stars out of five if I could.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment with the hygienist to get my teeth cleaned. 1st, The hygienist didn’t offer any medicine that most other dental places provide to help with the pain. 2nd, she didn’t have the device to keep the mouth open wide as you can imagine trying to keep it wide open for more than half an hour really strains your jaw and becomes painful. 3rd, she had no assistant and just literally put the suction inside your mouth and then carried on with her cleaning. The amount of blood I swallowed and the pain I experienced because she was rushing to finish it quickly I would never return nor would I recommend the hygienist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with Parham on Monday (my previous dentist from the practice had left), he was super down to earth, had a calming presence. We chatted about a wisdom tooth that was given its 6 month notice for eviction. I went home and after a quick email to Parham to see if it can be done sooner (got a reply within an hour), I booked in for it's removal 48 hours after my initial appointment. I have major anxiety regarding the dentist and went through waves of nausea and light headedness, but he took it slow. Stopped and let me have a breather after the local anaesthetic and then turned my music request on high volume to distract me. My wisdom tooth was out within 30 seconds. He made everything so smooth and easy and reassured me constantly with calming words and conversation. Cannot recommend him enough! 5*

Notable mention first for their clean, modern facilities with a TV on the ceiling to make the experience more pleasant for the patient. Secondly, the consistently warm nature of all the staff including the receptionist. But most importantly and impressively, the flawless Dr Matthews. He is a dentist who goes above and beyond in his care for the patients, taking a very empathetic and non-judgemental approach, which is all too rare in the dental profession these days. I was previously a patient of Smile Dental in Albany and then CBD, but found myself feeling awkward from the cold and blunt manner of some of the staff. I was recommended to switch to Dr Matthews for a dentist who is kind and truly cares about each patient. He is also happy to answer all your questions in a clear, concise way and makes recommendations that have your best interests at heart and clearly come from a strong basis of experience and expertise. Dr Matthews had playing in the the background a playlist of "ironic songs for a dentist office", including Watermelon Sugar. He makes the mood light yet while being highly informative and empowering you with personalised tools and tips to maximize the health of your teeth and gums based on your specific lifestyle needs and preferences. Would highly recommend Grafton Dental.

Fantastic experience: I recently had all my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Yazdani and he was brilliant. I was naturally feeling quite anxious before hand but Dr Yazdani’s calm and reassuring nature made me feel quite at ease. I’m now a week post procedure and I feel back to normal and great! Positive experience: I went here in 2019. I didn't like the sandblasting(?) cleaning method that they used, and they weren't very understanding working around my TMJ (jaw) issues. I wish they had let me know the cleaning method beforehand, I would have opted for something else. They did get me a soft splint made very quickly however, and office staff were very helpful in getting that covered.

Fantastic experience: I went here based on the reviews and because they actually advertise their prices on their website, which most places annoyingly don’t. I had my first appointment here today. Dr Matthew was amazing. Very gently spoken, took the time to explain everything he was doing and provided a lot of care and information. The practise itself is very modern, fresh and well thought out. I liked the TV on the ceiling and that I got to chose the music I listened to during the appointment. I hope they keep innovating to give such a great patient expense. This is what other dentist practices should aspire to be like!

Negative experience: I went to this clinic in April and was disappointed. After this visit, I was surprised at their 5 star rating. From my experience, it is really not that good. I made one hour appointment for dental cleaning. To my surprise, the whole cleaning time only lasted about 35 minutes. That female hygienist told me my teeth were clean. I was not sure it was true or not as I am not professional. But I do know I have comparatively serious gingival recession problem. I was very surprise the cleaning time was short but I still had to pay 179 dollars for one hour appointment . Before going there, I heard this clinic was cheap and their price was listed on their website. After visiting, I realized to pay $ 179 for more than half an hour dental cleaning was not cheap. The second point I do not like is their automatic booking system. I did not make any appointment since I had left there. But one day I received a text from them, which said my appointment was successful and it was at what time on which day. I was very surprised and I had to call them and ask them to cancel it. It was annoying. I do not know how their booking system work. But it is not good to make appointment for customers without their permission. I am usually vert lazy to write reviews. But this clinic was very different from what I expected and I could not help wondering how did they get so high rating. I would like to write my own experience with them for future reference.

Negative experience: Used to be Great place with great service and well organised. The Receptionist there now is useless, has no concept of customer service and ultimately you are better off to go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: My new Dentist and I am so not a fan of going to the dentist. I am extremely happy with the level of professionalism from reception to my new Dentist, Matthew and the assistants that have attended to me. The surgery is immaculately clean and modern. Everyone knows what they are doing and they move with extreme confidence which makes me feel better just hearing and looking at them. How often do you go somewhere in Auckland (from M-10 to Bunnings) and you are confronted with team members that know nothing and worse yet just do not seem to care? (not what I have experienced at Grafton Dental or Medical) ........... As dental clinics go; pricing is reasonable and there has been every effort from Matthew and his collegues to minimise my exposure to an unweilding bill. Like Grafton Medical next door; I am extremely grateful this level of care and professionalism is avialble to me in Auckland.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend highly enough the team at Grafton Dental. I've been going to them for over three years and they've always been excellent. I've interacted with most of the team now and they all consistently have done great work with my teeth. I really appreciate the value for money but more importantly I genuinely feel that they care about the health of my teeth and gums. They all take the time to explain the issues. I'm moving abroad and I'm gonna miss having these guys as my dentists. I'd like to give a special shout out to Storme and I promise I'm going to do better with my flossing .

Fantastic experience: Went in thinking I had a chipped tooth turns out I just badly needed a thorough clean, Dr Manish Latch was amazing, great chat, very clear explanation, very understanding did a great job showing before and after massive difference! Also receptionist was great over the phone and the place is spotless, legends this lot.

Fantastic experience: Grafton Dental is always highly recommend on the ‘Brit’s in Auckland’ Facebook page, everytime someone asks for dental recommendations Grafton Dental is always the place that is recommended the most! I’m terrified of the dentist as an adult as I had lots of dental issues when I was younger, Dr Manish is always SO patient with me & understanding. I had my wisdom tooth out yesterday (the first time I have ever had a tooth out without being put under GA) & he was amazing. I was a nervous, shaking mess & he was so patient, didn’t rush & ensured I was comfortable, had a great sense of humour too! Am in lots of pain today but cannot fault the procedure & service from Dr Manish & his DA too, highly recommended:)

The equipment are new and state of the art; you can even enjoy the TV while in the chair instead of staring at the ceiling! Plenty of easy to access parking and a central location. Would definitely recommend anyone to come give them a try

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend! I had a hygiene appointment with Storme, who was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and friendly, and I was really happy with the careful but comprehensive treatment I received. The clinic is welcoming and modern, and Shelley on reception was lovely too - I'm sure that even those who are a little apprehensive about visiting the dentist would be made to feel at ease. It's quick and easy to view availability and book online, and the prices seem very reasonable compared to other dentists nearby. Well worth it in my experience!

Fantastic experience: Grafton dental are a superb dentist that shine professionalism and care throughout their practice. From when you walk in, are greeted by the lovely receptionists and Dr V's great care for his patients. Being from the UK the dentist prices are generally cheaper than that of New Zealand but I am more that happy to part ways with my cash for the work that gets done at this practice. The day after the procedure I got a phone call from the receptionist to see how the procedure went which I thought was great. A+ for customer service! Thanks again all at Grafton dentist for making my visit to the dentist a happy and memorable one and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Fantastic experience: Best tooth extraction experience ever at the age of 36 with Dr Ahmad. Dr Ahmad has completely erased my bad memories about my previous dental experience. Being super gentle, caring, instructive, calm and empathetic, my last wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Ahmad yesterday was an amazing experience. I felt no pain at all during the whole process and even after 1 day of the extraction. So grateful to Dr Ahmad and the whole team at Grafton Dental!

Fantastic experience: Grafton Dental is by far the best dentist I have had since coming to New Zealand over 10 years ago. For over 20 years I had great dentistry care in the USA. Coming over to NZ I was worried about finding a dentist and struggled for a few years till I came upon Dr Vaibhav and now Grafton Dental. Grafton Dental has a professional, modern and very well kept feel to it. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always have such a positive and upbeat attitude. The best part of course is the dentistry that is practiced here. Dr Vaibhav is top notch and cares about his patients and the treatment given. I have always felt very secure in knowing that he and those at Grafton Dental practice dentistry that is based on only treating those issues that need to be taken care of and keeping on top of other issues that might come up. Additionally, they are very fairly priced as the patient is their main concern and they charge a fair price for high quality work. And as an added bonus for an eco-conscious consumer I was thrilled to learn I can bring in my toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, etc. as they participate in a program that recycles these dental items. I sincerely believe anyone would be hard pressed to find a better dentist office in Auckland or in New Zealand. Thank you Dr V and Grafton Dental!
