Positive experience: The doctors are great, but I've found that some dental assistants can be irresponsible. Of course, not all of them, but it's something to watch out for.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend these guys, they are awesome and are nothing but kind and understanding. They also do all their services at reasonable and affordable prices and have helped me and my family out heaps with dental issues.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Primecare Dental. I was initially hesitant switching over from my previous dentist of 5 years, however it has been a great decision. I’ve consistently been really impressed with the care, quality of service and short wait times for appointments. The clinic is very welcoming, particularly from the friendly reception staff and Dr. Stephens quality of care is excellent.

Fantastic experience: We went to Primecare Dental Highland Park today for the first time for a consultation - already nervous due to not so nice experiences at other dental clinics. We were welcomed by Roiel who was very friendly. She explained the process and procedure and made sure we felt comfortable. The dentist we saw was Chase, who was assisted by Heavenly. Both were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Chase was transparent throughout the entire appointment and made sure we understood everything. We now have a plan and both know what to expect when we visit again for treatment. We highly recommend Primecare Dental Highland Park, the staff a friendly, the environment is clean and welcoming, and the service and care is the best I’ve experienced at any dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Have previously had a very successful top front tooth root canal. So I am a return patient. Today had a lower molar extraction. Pricing is economical and dental work exceptional. I have OCD, high anxiety and don't like to be touched. I appreciate Dr Chase & Team always ensures a speedy and comforting experience to suit my needs. Want to offer a HUGE THANKS to the Primecare Dental Highland Park Team. Definitely reccommend to ALL and my go to dentist for life.

Negative experience: I would not recommend coming here especially if you are a beneficiary using a payment card. I came here because it was close to my house and the reviews were mostly positive. However, the treatment I recieved was not good. I had come in because I had mild tooth pain on my back molar. I knew from having seen another dentist in Wellington 2 years prior that I had needed more work done on my teeth. Unfortunately, after moving to Auckland I wasn't in a position to get that treatment done and because I left it too long my tooth became achy. So when I went in, I was expecting them to tell me everything that needed to be done. But because I came in with a winz quote, I felt that they treated me different. I was told I just needed an old filling replaced and despite me feeling something was off, I went in anyway and paid them with my payment card. The two dentists I saw were acting a bit shady and I didn't feel they were giving me the treatment I actually needed. And when I had paid at the desk, the receptionist was rude and chuckled and smirked at me for using a payment card. Several months later to now, I went to see another dentist and I have a large cavity in that same tooth they did work on because they put a filling over a lot of decay. I now need a root canal, as well as thousands of dollars of other treatment on my other teeth which they obviously knew. Instead they only gave me the care they felt I deserved as a beneficiary and I'm appalled to say the least. I would not come here unless you're also Asian or wealthy like the dentists who practice here. They are prejudiced toward beneficiaries and the receptionist is not kind either.

Fantastic experience: Ok so. I AM so scared of dental procedures BUT they are genuinely INCREDIBLE. Everyone was so nice and friendly and warm and welcoming. I had Dr.Chase and I think her name was Monica as the dental assistant and they were the nicest dentists I’ve ever had. Did not even feel anything when Dr.Chase was doing my procedure and he was super patient and welcoming. Highly recommend them!!

Negative experience: Brought my daughter in today for her appointment at 9.30am and the two receptionists were very rude and unprofessional. One was particularly rude, unfriendly and borderline argumentative with me, while the other one took phone calls from other clients and spoke negatively about the clients with her colleague after the calls had ended. Not what you would expect from frontline staff in a well known dental practice. Such a shame as the dentist himself was delightful. These two receptionist made our experience today an unpleasant one and have let the dental practice down. We will be finding another dental practice for future visits.

Fantastic experience: All my life, a trip to the dentist was always met with resistance. However, after visiting Dr Chase, I can say the previous sentiment is long gone. In fact, for once, I’m looking forward to my next check-up! Dr Chase was warm and welcoming, making you feel at ease. Some people have a natural, beautiful presence, and in the line of work where vulnerability is high, the dental cost isn't cheap… I felt at ease with the care Dr Chase provided. He was caring, had a sense of humour, and provided guidance that explored various options for improving my health but broke it down in a way that gave me the autonomy to make an informed decision - a real patient-centred approach. Without a doubt, my new dentist and I will recommend and encourage all my family and friends to stop in, too. I sure hope you manage to keep Dr Chase! (",)] Dr. Chase understood my anxiety 100% due to a horrible experience I had as a child with a previous dentist and he was so awesome throughout the whole procedure explaining to me everything he would be doing, ensuring I was comfortable and making the process as painless as possible - and it was! Fantastic experience: Had another cleaning with Chase of Primecare Dental Highland Park. I’ve seen a lot of dentists over the years and while others are okay and others are not so okay, Chase surpasses them all. He’s great with what he does as he makes the whole thing as painless as possible. He’s kind, friendly and polite, and I feel his sincerity in helping me take care of my teeth not just now but on a long-term basis. He reminds me of a good coach throughout my dental visit. He makes sure I was feeling alright, says encouraging words at the right time, and makes sure I’m comfortable. Fantastic experience: a review from someone who dreads the dentist due to being made to become self conscious about my teeth after having bad experiences with other dentists making me feel judged in the past, Dr Chase was beyond amazing. He didn’t make me feel self conscious in any way, helped with a plan going ahead to help me love my smile. He was kind and caring with myself, my husband, and my parents who I have put onto him. And they too could not rate him more highly. As for the reception staff they are so lovely, welcoming and chatty, the whole experience at Primecare in Highland Park has been a lovely one. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dentist! Both the staff and Dr Koo is really great. Booking the appointment was super easy, and they explained the pricing over the phone really well. I had many questions during the appointment and Dr Koo was able to answer them all, and he did a very comprehensive check and clean. I had trouble with claiming my costs with insurance, but they were happy to keep revising the invoice until it was approved by my insurance company. Definitely will go back for my next check up!

Fantastic experience: I attended Primecare Dental Highland Park 25 August 2022, when I entered the clinic it was warm, clean and very customer friendly. The lovely administrator welcomed me with a smile, she went through what I needed to do and what will happen next, her approach was very professional. The Dentist and his assistant were professional, kept me informed of what would happen and also advised me of the best procedure for my care. Negative experience: I made an appointment early on a Saturday morning because of severe tooth ache . Managed to get an appointment for 17H00 . Prime Care cancelled the appointment at 13H30 that afternoon . At this stage there was 0 % chance to get an appointment somewhere else on a Saturday . So I had to wait until Monday to fix the problem . This would have been my 1st visit but I would not go back .

Negative experience: These people are appalling! My partner made an appointment for 5.30pm on the 7th May. They called her and asked her if she could come in at 12.30 instead. Being a very accommodating person she agreed, but had nowhere to lock up her electric scooter, so I had to take time out and meet her there so that we could put her scooter in the back. Upon arrival we were told " no your appointment is not until 1.30. We called you". Neither of us had any missed calls and there was no voice mail message. We then went home and I took her back for the 1.30 appointment. I ended up losing 2 hours of my most productive time at minimally $200 per hour. I finally ended my day's work at 10 pm. My partner also lost $100 in wages. I requested a discount of $300 but was refused. I asked to talk to the practice manager - Maria I think - and she refused to talk to me because it was a Saturday. She has also failed to call me either to apologise or to offer a discount, and 2 weeks later. Naturally it's a Saturday again and she can't be bothered talking to now it's two weeks later. Also, they did a root canal on one of her front teeth which is now discoloured. Another dentist has told us that it happened because Primecare used the wrong material for the filling. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND DISORGANISED. Maria, There was no record of any phone call or text to my partner. If you have a record, show me. I was not talking down or bullying your staff. I was asking for compensation for the loss of my time. Where is it, by the way? Also, I forgot to mention that after a root canal on her front tooth if became discoloured - almost black. A reputable dentist has told us that this was because you used the wrong filler.

Negative experience: They don’t even worth one star. There is no integrity. I’ve never had so bad service.No recommended at all.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this dental practice. Dr Koo is top class and makes you feel so relaxed. Also very thorough in explaining what he is going to do. Fantastic experience: My first visit to a dentist in 10yrs. Previously had a bad experience with a different dentist. I needed emergency treatment yesterday. Jason the Dentist was clear on what needed to be done. His entire team were kind & attentive. I was able to Netflix and chill while treatment was being done. The ladies were awesome at helping me calm my nerves. Giving me a soft toy to cuddle, reminding me to take deep breaths, and giving me a comforting hand of support on my shoulder . Jason gave me clear instructions on raising my left hand if I feel any discomfort and this came in handy when I needed to take a break. The facilities at Primecare Dental Highland Park are very clean. The staff care about their clients and making their treatment as smooth sailing as possible. I highly recommend. Thanks team

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best dental clinics I've been to by far, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which is always a great start to a visit to the dentists. I booked my mum in to see Dr. Peter Noh for a check-up and extraction. Peter was very attentive and explained everything he was doing, whilst at the same time calming my mums nerves down! He stayed very professional throughout the whole visit and the costs were very good for the services provided. Considering my unusual situation, Primecare Dental continued my dental braces and I had it done in 2019. I'd like to say thank you to Dentist/Dr. Jason Koo who took care of my case. And to the receptionist, Tricia, and to the friendly nurses. It was a pleasant experience. Definitely recommended!

Positive experience: Been to see Dr. Jason for the first time and agreed to have a implant done. As the process was not clear. I have to express that spending $4500 and come out with front tooth with different colour was a real disappointment. I was told that the shade of colour will Blend in as time go by. It’s is coming up a year and still looking at 2 different colours . Not the end of the world but if you want a good job done check your details before spend 4500 .

Negative experience: The dental work is fine. Just the way how they organise things really. The second time I went the reception I waited for half an hour although I made an appointment. The nurse start taking photos of my teeth but didn’t get my permission. I asked what is this for she said for documentation.... I was just getting my teeth clean. Third time there is no third time as the reception called and cancelled my appointment as dentist not available... next appointment 3 weeks later... I don’t think that’s acceptable. I changed dentist. Both appointments with Jason maybe it’s a bad day for Saturday appointment. Always something come up for the Dentist on the day.

They allowed me to put my music on through my ear buds as I am a very nervous person..... they made me comfortable and explained what was happening throughout my procedure. Fantastic experience: After hearing the ad on the radio for Primecare I thought that I would give the practice my business. Even though I live on the North Shore of Auckland, Primecare is not exactly my local dental practice. After researching other practices I found Primecare to be the most competitively priced for the work that I need doing. There was quick communication after my initial email query and an appointment was made for a time that suited me. Taking my mouth to Primecare was the best choice I have ever made for the care of my teeth. I was met with wonderfully friendly and patient staff- from the receptionist, to the dental nurse and dentist. I was pretty nervous at the prospect of having two teeth extracted and a titanium pin placed in my upper jaw all during one appointment but I was well taken care of. I experienced no pain nor discomfort and there was the added bonus of Netflix to view that distracted me from what was going on inside my mouth. It will be three months before my treatment is completed as I still need two implants completed but I am in no doubt that I am in the best hands. It was so refreshing to deal with true dental professionals. What a pity that there isn’t a Primecare Dental practice closer to home. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Primecare Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Primecare Dental ever since the wonderful Tricia started working there many many years ago. First impressions are lasting & her wonderful cheery greeting, along with having a lovely waiting room with drink facilities are great to set the tone of the visit. Sam the previous owner & now Jason the current owner is always approachable, ready with a listening ear & taking the time to clearly explain whatever treatment is required. I no longer dread the thought of my regular check up visits as I know I am instantly put at ease. The fact they offer a full range of services, are open on Saturdays & prepared to help out in the case of an emergency at any time are added benefits along with having very reasonable charges.

Negative experience: The core treatment of invisilign has been amazing but severely lacking in the organisation and professionalism from the nurses. Before even getting trays I had photos taken by a clearly inexperienced nurse as such I had to come back for photos 20mins after I left just to have the same nurse take them and tear my mouth wider. I couldn't make a proper seal for 24hrs and it was greatly uncomfortable. When I did get my trays the first time it was easy fast and efficient with the dentist Dr Koo the only saving grace. The next trays I came in to pick up were easy enough and I had a few problems which I explained to the nurse. Alas the nurse didn't do her job and when I came in for a check up none of my information had been updated and they didn't even know I had picked the next set up. Very disappointed. Also called to try bully me out of a better review so I made it 1 star instead of 2. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Jason and the team at Primecare Dental are the best! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth, they always provide the best dental work and make you feel comfortable right from the moment you walk in the front door.

Negative experience: Normally I would critique a not so great experience as opposed to negative feedback. However in this case I cannot refrain from sharing my awful outcome here! The service is great- however it seems to be all about “customer service” not the dentistry work?! I had two porcelain crowns fitted, the first is a good fitment in conjunction with the surrounding teeth, unfortunately the dentist decided best to leave the nerve underneath- a false tooth?!, so now I can’t drink or chew moderately hot food on that side. The second Porcelain crown is directly above the other & this one is a real mickey mouse mystery!! This tooth does not feel at all natural nor does it fit in?! Albeit around 18months since I had the dentistry work done, that is every reason to write this review. It should serve as a reminder to search far & wide, possibly overseas where the service is just as impeccable & by far so much cheaper than these dentistry outfits.
