Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in receptionist Kim was so friendly and welcoming. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions with a smile. Then, dentist Melody took care of my broken front tooth, she was amazing! She was gentle and explained everything clearly and made sure I wasn’t in pain. Now my tooth look and feel so much better, I love my smile! The best part? The prices were fair and reasonable. And the quality of care was worth every penny. The whole team was kind and professional - including Jessa. If you need a dentist I highly recommend them. Thank you Melody, Kim and Jessa for making my visit so great!

Negative experience: Money hungry why i say money hungry is i gave quite abit of money they try to do all your teeth when you fill out a form saying u want the one that needs more treatment then the others then they try add on more things u need to do for your teeth i thought the 4k what i gave covers the whole treatment they charged me for my last treatment when she didnt mention any payment and threaten to take me to baycorp if ididnt pay the 500 what i did end up paying then the receptionist messaged me if i still wanna finish of my root canal but i got it all fixed for a way cheaper and affordable price money hungry with the price of living these days and they try to peer pressure of you paying more money after i mention i have children to worry about instead of my teeth no recommend coming to this place stop lying ask your receptionist that what she called up and said so i payed the remaining amount the nxt day through winz card if yous record the calling you hear what she says to me ripoffs is all i can say lol

He did a fantastic job with my teeth, explaining what he was doing as he went along. I would absolutely recommend getting your teeth cleaned by Josiah.

Fantastic experience: My son had 4 teeth extracted and the dental team were excellent! Very supportive, patient as they explained the service to him.

Negative experience: I chose the clinic and doctor based on reviews. Unfortunately, Dr. Melody's work is a huge disappointment. I paid $115 for a consultation + x-ray + photo, having in hand an x-ray from 2 months ago. For this money, only one tooth was examined. The doctor found a “darkening” under the lower sixth tooth of the lower jaw. She said that it might be necessary to redo the canals, but at the same time she offered to just put a filling. To clarify the diagnosis, I was recommended do a 3D scan in another city. In consultation with another senior dentist, I was told that this is normal jaw anatomy and the “darkening” is the origin of the mandibular nerve. If desired, management can call me if they have an offer to eliminate such a disgrace

The gave me all the information I needed regarding my appointments, helped me out with ACC and advised on prices (for a filling and veneers so I could be prepared). I truly feel like they all went the extra mile for me so effortlessly and I can't thank them enough. Was all basically pain free, my veneers look great and I have never felt so comfortable and at ease with any other practice so thank you guys so much! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This will sound stupid, but I genuinely (almost) look forward to going to the dentist now because of Dr. Charlotte and the team at Capital Dental Upper Hutt. Reception are always incredibly diligent, kind and accommodating. Dr. Charlotte is the best in town. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and will tell it to you straight. However, she also does everything in a very caring and personable manner. Josiah is also the best hygienist I've ever had. He's thorough, careful, and educational (and also very personable). Overall my dental health has never been better, and I have no dread or anxiety about booking or attending dental appointments anymore. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I have a terrible fear of the dentist as I had some bad experiences as a child and hadn’t been in many years. I was so afraid of being judged. I went and saw dr melody, and I was shaking. She greeted me warmly, cracked jokes, and made me feel safe and supported. We focused on solutions, and I walked out feeling so much better. The receptionist was extremely lovely too, and answered my questions kindly and empathetically. It was a bit pricey, but honestly the fact that I left feeling helped and heard made up for it. If you’re like me and are scared, these guys will give you support if you let them know <3
