Fantastic experience: Had to have a wisdom tooth removed. The whole appointment took 30mins, and I swear 25 of those mins were spent numbing me up and making me comfortable. I swear I didn't feel a thing when it came to the actual tooth extraction, and a day later, I'm still pain free. These guys really are fabulous.

I had 2 appointments with Dr. Fiona van Herdeen, and I was very pleased with the care she took to explain me what the issue was, what she was doing and why, but also had a great time chatting and joking with her. It definitely made me feel more relaxed about going to the dentist. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I received excellent treatment in an emergency situation. Unfortunately, I had to have my tooth extracted, but feel sure that every option was explored in order to save it. I've had virtually no pain during or after the procedure - so far, so good.

Positive experience: As always, Mark and the team are delightful. Mark makes you feel very comfortable and as relaxed as you can be in the dentist chair. Dentistry is expensive, I understand that. But as a pensioner $320 for 5-8 minutes on the premises was EXPENSIVE for me.

Fantastic experience: My experience has been top notch from beginning to end. The receptionist is very efficient and goes out of her way to make everything go smoothly. She’s detailed and seems to think of everything. She clearly cares about her job and is engaged. When it came to the actual exam, I’ve never experienced anything so comprehensive. A 3D model was made of my mouth in real time. Dr Andrea took the time to explain everything and it was clear she takes a very holistic approach. From the sit down, face to face consultation, to professional photos in a studio, to two different high tech scans, I had never been to a dentist anything like this. Dr Shepperson is astute and very experienced. What I appreciated most though, is that she clearly really cares about her patients and deeply understands the impacts of dental health on holistic wellbeing.

I had 2 teeth extracted recently and during the extraction he was great, praising me for being calm and telling me what was going on, and thanking his dental technician who was assisting. They definitely care about helping people with their dental issues, that there is no pain and that you're informed and consulted about what to do with your dental issues.

High consideration was given to patient comfort which made a big difference as my treatment was quite lengthy. Decisions regarding the course of my treatment were discussed fully and I was able to move forward with confidence to the end result, which of course, was having the ability to smile, now with a full set of healthy teeth.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best dentist I’ve been to, ever. Had an overnight toothache while visiting from the UK, booked myself in at 8am and was seen at 8:45am! Ultra-helpful receptionists and Erwing was a fantastic dentist, explaining all my options, providing a backup prescription for the rest of my travels, and a great guy to boot.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr Fabricio Pacheco do a filling on one of my teeth, I have disliked going to get fillings as my previous dentist did them poorly and never made sure they didn’t catch on floss, this resulted in me accidentally pulling out said filling. I was comfortable the entire time and both Dr Pacheco and his assistant did a wonderful job of ensuring there were no high spots or any catches in between my teeth. I was at ease the entire time!

Fantastic experience: After a year of researching dental options both in Auckland and overseas - I require extensive dental work with multiple appointments over a year - I am thrilled to have found Andrea, Chanel, Helen and the team including the wonderful hygienists. I have been impressed not only by Andrea's knowledge but also her bed side manner and she has the best ever technique for painless injections, which is just the cherry on top. I require a full mouth make-over and the technology they have that allows them to do full 3D modelling so you can see how your teeth will look before you comitt, I have not seen anywhere else. Aside from the dentistry the admin, customer service and how they run the practise and the business has been faultless. They were recommended to me by several people and I will be doing the same.

Fantastic experience: Those guys are top-notch. The service and quality are on another level, and you feel the professionalism and friendliness throughout the way. The receptionist is warm welcoming and always happy to assist, and their online booking system is also great. However, the star of the show in my books is the dentist, who in my case is Mark Taylor. He did a lot of work on my teeth and as a bonus I can clearly see some cosmetic features. I genuinely got surprised to see them because I was bargaining to have less toothache only. Oh, and I never felt any pain. Even when he inserts the injection! So, as you can tell, a happy patient here :)

Fantastic experience: Just brilliant. I'm not afraid of going to the dentist but even if I was this place rocks. I didn't feel the injection going in. I was talked through things as they happened but not in a patronising way, just clearly and calmly. It's not an everyday occurrence to have dental work done for me but Andrea makes it much much easier to do than other dentist's I've been to.

Fantastic experience: I went to Lumino City for a Hygienist appointment. I hadn't been for a year due to COVID. Excellent experience. Teeth thoroughly checked. Hygienist very knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly gentle with little pain. Used a new fangled water blaster thingy for teeth. Which was much better than the usual scrubbing techniques. Overall great and I will return.

Fantastic experience: Tooth extraction was better than expected. Great service from Mark and Louise.

Negative experience: If you want regular checkups the only thing you get offered is "the plan" two cleans and a dentist appointment with x-rays. Staff and dentists are fantastic zero complaints. However what they don't tell you is you must give them your credit card number as the plan auto renews and charges you ever year. How can we trust a dentist company to have security good enough to protect your card information? Much worse is that if you don't use sessions before the new plan starts you lose those appointments, like last year with work and covid I didn't get there so lost entire payment. Also if you come in say 7 months in the dentist will say see you in six months. That's over the one year period so you lose the second cleaning session. Now looking for new dentist after over 20 years with what was proudmouth now lumino.

Fantastic experience: Andrea Shepperson has helped me greatly she chose to help me when it was very likely to put her in an awkward position against some of her peers. She spent a lot of time and effort to help me knowing it would be of little financial gain to herself. The reception staff at City Dental Quay Park kindly assisted with arranging a spot that day for my dentist (Mark Taylor) to insert a temp crown. Fantastic experience: Dr Fabricio was the best dentist I have ever seen! He listened so carefully, eased my anxieties about seeing a dentist, and did such a gentle but thorough exam. I was amazed at the technology he used, especially the 3-shape scanner which showed me different models of my mouth in such high definition. I was impressed that he took the time to show me each x-ray, photo and scan and show me diagrams so I fully understood what he was doing. I will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience I’ve ever had!! For someone that isn’t the biggest fan of going to the dentist, Fabricio made me feel the most comfortable in the consult and while in the chair. Always checking in to make sure I wasn’t feeling pain or discomfort. Not only did he crack some dad jokes, but he’s basically Tom Hanks with an accent. Shannon at the front desk was also cherry and helpful. 10/10 would recommend this dentist to anyone :))

Fantastic experience: I saw Alzena for my hygiene appointment. Best. Clean. Ever. I fell asleep in the chair from how delicate and pain free the procedure was. Love how clean my teeth feel and really appreciated how she explained every stage before she did it. My last hygienist barely spoke to me. Highly recommend if you have sensitive teeth or your current hygiene is a tad rough.

Fantastic experience: I've been to several dentists over the years, but none have come close to providing the level of quality service that I have received here. Everything from the first point of contact with the lovely receptionists, to the excellent dentistry skills of Mark Taylor, and the genuine caring shown with post dental work follow up, makes this hands down the best dentist surgery. I've had some complicated issues with my teeth and Mark has gone above and beyond to find creative yet workable solutions which have vastly improved my quality of life.
