Fantastic experience: Im so happy with the lip tie surgery Mary did for my baby. The price was just $400! I had looked around before, and everywhere else was charging $700 to $1000, so this was such a relief. The surgery was quick, and it really made a difference for breastfeeding. My baby is now able to latch properly, and its been a total game changer. Highly recommend it!

The whole process was quick and easy—they did a 3D scan at my first visit, and a week later, my night guard was ready. To make sure the new tooth grows straight, Dr. Roy makes a space maintainer, a small device that keeps the neighboring teeth from shifting and preserves the spot where the baby tooth was extracted. The premises and service were excellent. The Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist who scaled, cleaned and polished my teeth was very professional, kind and gentle. She also gave me some very wise dental care advise. I was very happy with the service I got. Hence, immediately after my appointment I booked my next one again with Marina Dentists Half Moon Bay.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Marina Dentists. The clinic is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The clinic itself is lovely and clean. The reception staff are welcoming and accommodating with payment plans if you are eligible. I had a crown fitted and a filling done with Dr Alex. He was professional and efficient. I had a teeth cleaning done with Lorreta. She was friendly, informative and gentle as I have very sensitive teeth. She did a great job of explaining what she was doing and calming my nerves. Overall I would highly recommend Marina Dentist if you’re looking for a dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal treatment done by Dr. Alex at Marina Dentists, and Im extremely satisfied with the results. Dr. Alex performed the procedure without removing my crown—he simply drilled a small hole in it, treated the root canals, and then filled the opening. My previous dentist had initially referred me to a specialist who quoted $2,800 for the root canal treatment, plus the additional cost of a new crown, which would have been around $2,000! A friend recommended I see Dr. Alex instead. At Marina Dentists, they completed the treatment for $1,900 and managed to save my crown. Its been a month now, and Im happy to say Ive had no pain since. Highly recommend Marina Dentists!

Lorreta the hygienist was amazing, thorough and gentle. Dr Roy the dentist was considered, knowledgeable and gave excellent service, and Maria at the front desk was friendly, helpful and made making further appointments super easy. They are so reasonably priced for dentists and the practice had excellent new technology machines and tools that they use.

Negative experience: Bad experience as hell, my daughter went to have a yearly check with no pain, but after the first treatment she started pain constantly, went to see the same dentist 3 times and the dentist didn’t recognise there was a infection, no proper treatment no antibiotics prescribed, she had to go through RCT the last time, which may make her teeth a shorter life and a trauma in our mind. We cannot trust medical professionals like we did before.

I saw Fazana, she was absolutely amazing, always checking how i was feeling and explained every step she was doing. Maria at the reception was also so lovely, making me feel welcomed and reassured!

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience here. Dentist very rude to their assistant. Rude to me. I was nervous about treatment but dentist seemed to take issue with that and my questions. Had to sign that I would pay the bill amount after being injected with anaesthetic, how weird. Had to wait in waiting room afterwards and was pestered with quotes for new work while I couldn't talk. Had to put ice on my jaw but they wouldn't let me take the disposable ice pack home after paying $1000. Which means someone else must have had on their jaw before me (and after). Said I needed further treatment which turned out to be false. Treatment also not to recommended practice unless you are in Russia. Won't be going back ever!!

Was very nervous about getting tooth implant and a crown, but Dr. Alex is very professional and explained all the steps of the treatment. I'm not at the final stage, but happy with the result so far. All the staff is friendly and always have good experience going there. The only thing is sometimes confusing which clinic to go to if I don't receive a reminder, so make sure you're booking in the clinic you want.
