Fantastic experience: I hadn’t found a regular dentist in my area as I moved around a lot. I stumbled across Darling Dental on Facebook and after reading lots of great reviews, I booked an appointment. Honestly, it was such a fantastic experience. The set up and decor of the place was so nice (I loved the couch in reception!), the receptionist Kerry was super friendly, and Clare (dentist) and Lisa (dental assistant) were the star of the show. Clare also being Scottish, like me; made the my experience one to remember. She was so educational, calm, and took her time through the whole appointment without rushing. I’m so pleased with my appointment and have booked to go back Lots of parking available too which is a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I have always tried avoiding dentists due to a fear I had for them. After my very first dental appointment in NZ (also raising the fact of my fear), I was totally blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. Clare took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. Their gentle approach and attention to detail truly sets them apart. I left feeling confident and cared for. If you're looking for a dentist and hygenist who genuinely cares about their patients, look no further than Darling Dental. Won't recommend anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I had such a fantastic experience at Darling Dental in Paremata! I arrived for my appointment, but my childcare plans fell through so i had to take my little one with me, and as soon as my 4-month-old woke up, the team, especially Kerri, were amazing. They went above and beyond to keep him entertained and happy while I finished my appointment. As a mom of a 4-month-old and a 2-year-old, it’s not always easy to get out for personal appointments, so I truly appreciated how welcoming and helpful the team was. Fantastic experience: Just had the BEST dental experience of my life! Clare was SO professional and extremely gentle. I didn't feel like she was rushing the job or butchering my mouth like some others do. She explained the techniques and gave warnings before just doing stuff, and emphasized why she did it that way- "to make the fillings really strong so they last"). Despite having anaesthetic in, she worked so gently (no pulling and tugging or jabbing!) Her pre-appointments were also thorough, and I left with a comprehensive dental plan with costs attached so I could plan my visits according to my budget. She stuck to the plan today and I paid exactly what I expected. So glad I've found MY Dentist. Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Such lovely kind and honest care — no excessive work, just patient centered care at it’s best - I’m scared of dental work and they made it so easy they also have a cute dog you can request to be your little friend and sit on your lap while you get your teeth done and I honestly could have cried she was so lovely and it was very comforting :)

Fantastic experience: A very pleasant dental clinic. The facilities are all brand new. Easy parking for this centrally located spot makes each visit simple to navigate. The dentists, assistants and reception staff do a really great job with communication. Changes to my appointment needs were managed with ease. The dental work is always to a high standard and they take the time to talk through the work they will do. Getting things fixed is always quick and fairly painless. The pricing is fair and reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone in the wider Porirua area.

Negative experience: Really poor service at reception. She is slow as sloth. My appointment was faster than I need to wait just to do the payment. The receptionist was talking to a person for more than 15 minutes and kept me waiting just to do the payment. She had time to attend a phone call in between but not to do the payment which later took less than a 1 min. Really poor service. Though dentist and hygienist team is great and would always come back to them.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at Darling Dental. It's not often you can say that! Lovely staff and the whole process was stress and pain free despite needing to have a large filling replaced. Very handy to have Afterpay available and I thought it was very good value for money too. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem which Darling Dental sorted very promptly even though I wasn’t a patient. The care was A1 & I was talked through the process. I’m so happy that I have found a great new dentist!

Excellent appointment reminders make sure you are on track with your appointments. I very much appreciate their care - and it is great to have such a professional practice based locally!

Negative experience: I could not find the Darling Dental, that photo of the white building with red roof is misleading! If you are after Darling Dental you will need to spend some time looking for their actual location. Well and before your appointment also add some time to find that parking spot you need...

Fantastic experience: Jen was great. Took advantage of promo on Facebook, cancellation on hygienist appointment at a reduced price and I will absolutely be going back. Going to the dentist is something I’ve continued to put off purely for the fact that it’s such a daunting experience and Jen was great and friendly and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had high anxiety & felt scared about going to the dentist my whole life. Because of this I had horrible teeth (broken teeth, wholes, infection) Clare is friendly & easy to be around, I felt comfortable being treated by her & feel comfortable enough to go back, I also feel at ease being in the clinic as all staff have been friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the team at Paremata Dental. I was very worried about going to see the dentist and the team at Paremata were very accomodating and understanding. I recently had a dental procedure done and Claire (one of the dentists) ensured I felt no pain during it, in-between appointments and after the procedure. A special thank you to Kerry at being super welcoming, empathetic and an appointment wiz! Could not recommend this team enough.

Fantastic experience: This review is for Jen the hygienist. She is the best hygienist I have to been to for many many years. Jen is very good at updating you on the state of your teeth and gums and how best to look after them. The receptionist is also lovely and friendly and the clinic is warm and has off-street client parking. I have not had to see a Dentist there yet - but with all the great reviews for this clinic, I would not be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional and are good at what they do. I went in for a filling and they did an amazing job. However, after a few days my tooth with the new filling aches whenever I chew food so I went back and they fixed the issue free of charge.

Very comprehensive explanations of history how your gums and teeth are in the condition they are in. And amazing planning for any foreseeable issues and/or fixing. Definitely converted this scaredy cat and put all my fears to rest. Very happy to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Decided to visit Paremata Dental after my dentist had retired last year & have had an awesome experience with Clare & her team. Have always been a nervous patient & hate going to the dentist & knew I was needing a lot of work done. Clare made the dental work feel so easy, didn't judge me, I felt so calm as she explained everything with her gentle manner . Fantastic experience: Our eleven year old was very anxious about having two teeth extracted for her braces. After getting three recommendations for Clare via friends, we made contact. Everything about the practice was fabulous, reception staff, dental assistant and Clare herself. She made us feel like she had all the time the world and talked us through each stage of the procedure, happy to stop whenever needed. Amber said "was that it?" when the first tooth came out! Its the first time we've received helpful advice for both of us and a long term plan to get our teeth back to health. Great followup with phone calls after extractions and appointments. I liked how even the front desk people are genuinely caring towards patients. My dentist is Claire and she is amazing. She has this whole calm vibe and soothing voice that instantly relaxes me. Fantastic experience: As someone who has had traumatic experiences at the Dentist as a teenager it took years to find dentists I was comfortable with. After changing work locations from the city to Paremata I was recommended Clare from my trusted city dentist. She made me feel comfortable and even changed the appearance of one of my teeth that no one had previously advised I could fixed so I am very happy so far!
