Fantastic experience: Over the past few months, I’ve been a frequent visitor to White Smile Takapuna for veneers, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Hugh is the ultimate professional. I never felt pressured, everything was thoroughly explained, and he consistently went above and beyond what’s typically expected. I’ll admit, I can be a difficult patient, but he made me feel completely comfortable returning with questions or making adjustments, sometimes in his own time without an appointment. Hugh was genuinely invested in the final result and how I felt about it - there was never any rush to just get the job done. The end result is incredible - so natural that no one has even noticed I have veneers. People just comment on how great my teeth look. Hugh and Layla work wonderfully as a team, making even the four-hour sessions a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Weirdly, I’ve found myself missing my frequent visits now that the process is complete! After recently moving to Auckland, I was nervous about finding a new dentist, especially for such an important procedure. From the moment I walked in, Julie at reception made me feel so welcome - she’s amazing. And Ashley is by far the best hygienist I’ve ever had. I’m so glad I chose this team, they made the entire experience far more comfortable and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Seeing both Ashley (hygienist) and Hugh (dentist) is the easiest it's ever been to visit a dental clinic. Having had a fear of dentists and dental clinics since the "murder house" days of school, they have both explained everything as they go and made the visit as enjoyable as a visit to the dentist can be.

All the staff are so friendly from Brett who host this haven for people who share in my tomophobia. To the dental technicians right up until the reception desk team. Where a friendly Julie frequents and often greets you with an enthusiastic "hello" followed by a reassuring smile. Prices are reasonable fair & competitive if not at a slightly higher premium than competitors. But mind you I've had my experiences with the so called "competition" and don't mind parting with a few extra bucks to continue to receive the remarkable service this practice commits itself on providing. So come on in see for yourself. Come see the distinguished accolades & Awards for most experienced procedures performed. Awards Brett received at a national Level. Feeling nervous? Brett puts on some soothing music for you to vibe to & sometimes even let's you watch the chase. Or is it Needles? They will endeavor to make you as comfortable as possible adjust the chair, put on some numbing gel, distract you with some small talk then before you know it like me you'll be asking is it actually done!? I live on the other side of town but for aslong as this practice is running it will forever be my go to. Congratulations team on an amazing practice keep up the good work. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: Excellent dentists! But awful receptionist behavior giving unwanted opinion or lectures to costumers. (Ofcourse I wont be able to reply any back comments of this review, I wasnt rude on my call just very desapointed of the bad treatment to my wife and this situation is unique. That's a lie! But anyway there is better ways to talk to people no need to treat people as stupid, of couse appointment can be cancel and reschedule, not rocket science here) Enough reason to lookup another place. Wont be back! 7k to 10k in treatment goes to another dentist now

Negative experience: We booked our daughter here just for a check up and a clean. The dentist we unfortunately got assigned, convinced us she needed an expensive myobrace mouthguard, took an upfront deposit for the treatment and then soon after left the clinic. Lumino just shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't continue the treatment, pocketed our deposit and have since chosen to just ignore us. I am now out of pocket thousands of dollars, and the treatment has been left unfinished. Do not take your kids near this clinic, you will probably regret it. Edit in response to the owner reply below: I haven't heard back from you all in weeks. Every single person who has contacted me has denied responsibility and passed the buck on to someone else. There has been no resolution and progress has ground to a halt, so that is patently false.

Negative experience: My poor niece had the worst experience today at this practice, I would not recommend this practice to anyone they are a complete rip off and she wasn't given enough numbing before hand, she cried and screamed through the whole procedure. That is disgusting and should of offered more numbing

Fantastic experience: I've recently had 2 appointments done to get both sides of my wisdom teeth out and having Fabricio do the extractions has made it a legitimately enjoyable experience. I can't recommend the whole team at White Smile enough and would go there 10/10 times

Fantastic experience: I I will start from the start; The Practice’s reception is minded by an adorable, smiley and witty young woman. Then the Dentist’s assistant came to greet me and as she introduced herself also very sweetly, the man himself - Dr Fabricio, came over to say hello. Once in the room, I was eased onto the chair. From there over it was a first in my 45 ++ (years old) - I didn’t shake or had my hands sweaty; I am normally quite uneasy at Dentists, but Dr Fabricio had this captivating demeanour with which from when I set down to getting up he explained the whole process and checked with me often if I was ok or needed a brake for questions, or a breather. Everything went so well that when we finished, I thought we were about to start : D - I felt safe, in beyond competent hands. I am sold

Fantastic experience: The kindness and knowledge of Dr. Fabricio Pacheco is really impressive and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed . He's seen my 15 year old son, and not only treated the ongoing problem, but explained everything that was going on and how to avoid future problems. My son just loved the whole experience. Fantastic experience: Happy to give Fabricio Pacheco at Lumino an absolute 5 star rating - would give him 6 if I could! He has done a tooth capping and a molar extraction in the last couple of weeks. Very reasonably priced. Without doubt he is the best dentist I have every had (and I have had a few over the last 30 years). A really nice guy as well.

Fantastic experience: I have a huge fear of dentists usually visiting only when I have pain/a problem. This is where I started the visit. Lydia resolved by tooth issue but more so, was the first dentist (in over 20 years) who made me comfortable and safe enough to return for a number of weeks, fixing all issues and cleaning my teeth. She was empathetic, patient, gentle and understanding as I worked through my fear with each visit. I cannot speak highly enough of Lydia and her assistant Anna. I will keep coming back!!!!!

I have done my cleaning with the hygienist and she was so friendly and attentive, she really did an amazing job. Sharona also did x-rays and could explain very easily my problems so I could understand even if English is not my first language Thank you so much girls!

Negative experience: I brought a treatme voucher a while ago to get a Consultation/Checkup. I scheduled an appointment, I arrived on time, but a late arriver turned up just before me and apologized for his lateness to the receptionist. Therefore he got served first, leaving me with about 15mins for my checkup. My consultation/checkup was rushed and I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. The whole situation was rushed because they wanted to keep to their tight schedule so I didn't get my money's worth. They also kept on sending me pesky emails about deals and promotions and I thought I have already supposedly ''unsubscribed'' to them. I eventually reached out to them about my concern. They ceased the peksy emails and offered an opportunity for a redo of a consultation/checkup. I politely declined because I have a lack of confidence in them. You only get one shot at making a good first impression and they missed it by a long shot.

Fantastic experience: The front of one of my front teeth cracked off. I made an appointment with White Smiles, who took me right in and reshaped the front of my tooth. they were very fast, very effective and very reasonable for the cost of the great work they did for me. I have recommended them to my friends who are also very happy with their service.

Fantastic experience: Came in last week to see Frazer and was warmly greeted by nicole at the front desk. Frazer did a wonderful job. Didn’t feel a thing and came away with a shiny smile. His little singalongs did well to break the tension as I was a bit nervous.

Fantastic experience: I went to white smile on a recommendation from a family member. I am usually very nervous about going to the dentist, the team were super kind from the get-go. They were very welcoming and explained things very clearly so that I understood. I will 100% be happy to go back there ! Reasonable prices too ! -super super happy customer.

Negative experience: Really disappointed with the service here. Paid for a Laser Teeth Whitening Treatment (Optn incl. a Scale & Polish) coupon and went in. Was not given the Laser Teeth Whitening and was told I would have to get a filling before that would be possible. I called back twice again after getting the filling, no replies. Kept the money, coupon now expired, didn't reply.

Negative experience: The dentists who treated my teeth were all friendly, but they were certainly young and not really experienced, which I was a bit concerned about. After taking OPG X-ray photo, I was told that they would send it to me by email, which did not happen. Also even though they already did cleaning on my teeth on my first visit, later they told me that I should do it again with extra cost and they put it on the treatment plan. I really wonder how many dentists in NZ are genuinely concerned about the welfare of their patients, not their pocket. Getting dental treatment in NZ is ridiculously expensive, and that is the reason why in NZ you can easily see how wealthy you are as an adult if you have a look at your own teeth. On top of that, after 8 months, one of the teeth that they treated started to have a throbbing pain. Have decided to get my teeth checked and treated when I escape from NZ.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Deborah Gibson-Hardie, she was really lovely and friendly and gave me lots of information. She understood that I am a student and can't afford to have a lot of work done at once so she gave me quotes for the work she recommended. I plan on coming back soon to get this work done. She also smoothed my slightly chipped front teeth free of charge which no other dentist has even offered to do for me before. I would definitely recommend White Smile Dental to my friends. The staff are all very professional and friendly and the clinic is clean and well presented.

Fantastic experience: I loved my visit to White Smile. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist is friendly and calm. I had the loveliest dentist, Deborah who explained to me why I need an actual clean once or twice a year. I never knew why and I am 46!! I am lucky that I can keep on top of things now with this knowledge. I also had my teeth whitened and she was right, after having the clean first, I didn't experience any tooth sensitivity at all. Unfortunately I have forgotten the assistants name who did my whitening, but she was so attentive too. Looking forward to going back soon!

Fantastic experience: I would have to be the biggest wuss on earth when it comes to going to the dentist - in fact it has been probably 10 years since I last went. I broke a tooth several months ago and still didn't go, then last thursday I had no choice, my broken tooth got infected. I was a nervous wreck but I have to say my visit would have to be the BEST dental experience I have ever had ... in my LIFE! Ended up being a root canal in a molar (3 canals), and it was PAINLESS, even the injection was just a little "pip" that was ALL. Yes, thankfully technology has advanced and a visit to the dentist is now like a visit to the hairdresser. Thank you White Smile Dental - you have got my business for ever.

Fantastic experience: To start I have to say I am terrified of dentists and so coming along to see about 3 crowns was a biggie for me! But Shirley and her assistant were fantastic and so caring, lots of smiles and laughs and really looked after me. My second visit earlier this week was quite traumatic for me as it involved more work and drilling but I managed to get thru it, despite shaking like a leaf & getting back to my car and sitting there crying my eyes out afterwards, I was that tense. I knew that my teeth were pretty bad and thought I would be lucky to just get away with the basic crown. Shirley advised me right from the start that I needed more work to stabilise the teeth before the caps could be fitted. She explained it all in great detail, gave me the costs and made me feel very comfortable and trusting of what she was saying. I live way down south auckland but I am more than happy to come over to visit your surgery. I have already mentioned and recommended you to my friends over the North Shore. Thank you ladies for looking after me so well, you have been truly wonderful. My husband will come with me next time to drive me home....

Fantastic experience: Hello, I am a new client to White Smile Dental. Going to the dentist is a very nervous experience for me. Past dental appointments have left me in despair and never wanting to go back to any dentist again. I found one in Brisbane when i was working there called Black Pearl Dental. They were all women and restored confidence in me to do dental visits again. So i did. I saw an advertisement online for White Smile Dental for teeth whitening/scale and polish at a fantastic price, made an appointment and found before i could do the teeth whitening i would have to replace a broken tooth first. Okay i was guttered but it was explained to me, without the replacement of my tooth i can't have the whitening done. This is the most expensive teeth whitening i have ever had done. The Dentist professional (Dr Wan i think her name is) was really nice, polite, friendly and informative. Her dental assistant was also very nice and friendly. I felt so relaxed in their presence and they made me feel less nervous and comfortable through my session with them. Thank you both for helping me achieve my goals for October 2015. I have to say that the dental room has plenty of light, modern, clean and well equipped. I have been to other dentist that look dull and daunting and left quickly. Thank you white smile dental :)

Pricing was advised clearly, procedures were effortless, and they were kind enough to do a referral for me to get my wisdom teeth removal. Negative experience: Awful experience both the dentist and receptionist was rude! I went to this outfit for a fast braces 'free' consultation and they said I didn't qualify which is fair enough but they then ended up charging me a fee for 5 mins of there time to tell me I don't qualify but the whole time they were pushing invaslign which was double the price despite being told by two other dentists I didn't qualify for invisalign.Anyhow I went to their competition 'All Smiles' in Mt Eden and needless to say the service is awesome and they are unbiased with how they treated me....oh and I now have fast braces installed which are providing impressive results in a short period of time.

Fantastic experience: The staff (Cathy and Dr Shirley Zheng) were extremely kind & wonderful as I have a fear of dentist as a result of a hit and run accident I had in which my 3 front teeth was knocked out and it took the dentist association in South Africa 3yrs to fix my mouth. Fantastic experience: Have chopped and changed dentists a few times and found it hard to find one that I didn't feel was selling to me and just looking after my teeth. Search over.
