Fantastic experience: My experience was brilliant first time in lower Hutt Capital Dental as I used Petone Capital Dental for years. The dental hygienist in lower Hutt is brilliant his professionalism and mannerism made it a comfortable, easy experience for me. The Hygienist is respectful as well as informed, softly spoken with good communication very happy customer and I will now stick to Capital Dental Lower Hutt. Thank you much appreciated

Positive experience: Called on during Christmas week, very efficient, explained choices and rapidly completed selected treatment

Negative experience: Bit disappointed rushed through the hygiene clean and she refused to put fluoride on my teeth on my request when I’ve had it done previously by a young lady who always does that at the end. Not really good when the fee is so much for the hygiene clean. They have lost a loyal customer I now go else where :)

I'm back with Capital Dental - I tried a practice closer to home just for convenience - but found it's far better to go out of your way for excellent service than to settle for convenience

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Central Dental Lower Hutt for more than 5 years and couldn’t be happier with the service. I go to see Erica Lee, the dental hygienist, and she is incredibly attentive, especially with my sensitive teeth. I also occasionally see Dr. Joshua Torres for my retainers after having orthodontic treatment in another country. The first time my permanent retainer came loose in New Zealand, I saw Josh by chance. After that, the wire came loose in a different spot, so I went to a dentist on Lambton Quay at random. Despite the cost being three times higher, the wire quickly came loose again in the same spot. Since then, I’ve only gone back to Josh, and the results of his work have always been long-lasting. The entire staff at the clinic is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this clinic!

Fantastic experience: I’ve come in to see Dikesh! The service has been amazing with Dikesh calming my nerves and talking me through each step that he is doing and why! Also his numbing injections are top knothole, you don’t even feel a scratch! The admin team are also great, always willing to go the extra mile, make the payment process easy and always greeting you with a smile!

Fantastic experience: This is our first time in Capital Dental Lower Hutt ,has a friendly and attentive staffs. And Dr. Joshua Torres explained everything when he checked up my son. He also gave suggestions on what not to do and what to do while my son was under observation for 6 weeks. Kuddos this team .

Positive experience: Really good experience from all of the Capital Dental staff I interacted with. Dr Parmar took the time to just listen and understand my situation and concerns before jumping in. Explained everything to me (and showed me pictures) in simple easy to understand terms. Only missing one star (should be 1/2 star if I could) due to the wait time (2 months and then 3 months for treatment apt) to see Dr Parmar which is more to do with demand for his services I imagine.Thank you.

Negative experience: Having the X-ray done in the waiting room area was a humiliating experience. People in the waiting room staring at me while I was having this done was absolutely awful. Also no ‘clean’ area and attendant asking me to put guard in my mouth, I had to ask her to ensure it was sterile! Dentist was terrific!!

Everything about the dental process was explained and my comfort was checked regularly during my 1st stage root canal procedure. The receptionist was very friendly, efficient and professional, having my 2nd stage appointment all sorted for me after I finished my appointment.

The reception lady is always happy to help an goes out of her way to get you an appointment. Josh my dentist, is very professional. Puts you at ease and explains everything. A big bonus they have a few different payment options. I highly recommend them for any of your dental needs.

Negative experience: Asian lady rushed through wife’s appointment and didn’t explain all possible treatment options. Charged us for a retainer that we never asked for and it was a pointless option because the teeth have already moved so why would we want to retain teeth that have already shifted. Makes no sense.

Fantastic experience: The booking is seamless with the nice ladies at the reception and the dental hygienist, i think her name is Erica, she is very good and thorough but gentle with the cleaning, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Capital Dental is Amazing, after visiting Lumino and being unimpressed with their customer service, care and ridiculous upselling of unnecessary dental work, I found Capital Dental, I’ve never looked back, Dentists are fantastic, Customer Service is on point, they are real and honest about what you need done and when you need it done, They saw my 7yr old immediately when she knocked her 2 front teeth out. I like many am terrified of dentists, however the care, honesty, integrity and professionalism here is unmatched in the Hutt, I have found, Highly Recommend

Great initial consult where my work plan was spelt out and subsequent visits have been great to get me to a point where I am comfortable smiling again. I sent a query through their website, Glecy the Front Office Admin contacted me immediately - and we have, since that moment, received exceptional care and guidance. I have had an extreme fear of Dentists for quite some time - Dentist Joshua Torres was absolutely brilliant - he put me at ease from the moment we met. My husband and I would "highly" recommend Ropata Dental Centre for anyone that has not had good experiences in the past. After over a decade of living with horrible teeth and a lot of pain - I truly never thought it was possible for me to have my teeth repaired.

My tooth was out so quickly, even though it was completely broken in two. Very professional and accommodating service. Highly recommended and at a reasonable cost.

Negative experience: I am not reviewing for dentist but i review it for my grandma money refund. Ao we request dor refund and the lady in front office said it has to be online request. I send online requesr on 16 dec and until now 23rd december the money havent been refunded. The lady reply my email after 2 days said she forward to the manager and then havent really heard back until now. Christmas is coming soon. My grandma needs her money to be refunded but this is such a disapointing!!! My grandma lucky that i understand email what if she have to do it herself she dont understand to email people. Please make yiur refund easier and not take so long and we are looking forward to get our money back! The worst refund service ever. Maybe better to go another dentist. Rather than get worst service.

The team are happy and helpful, and for me, having a pharmacy and my doctor down stairs plus my Physiotherapy in the same building it cant be more convenient. A big thumbs up from me.

Positive experience: The staff and my dentist in particular are friendly, helpful and super willing to discuss treatment options as well as any particular concerns for more complicated procedures such as wisdom teeth removal. What I appreciate the most is that for returning patients, this dental centre asks your preferred form of communication, whether it's by email, text or phone call. When you're scheduled for a regular check up, instead of reminding you to call and make an appointment, they schedule one for you, alerting you via text, email or phone. If the time doesn't suit, an email works just as well for rescheduling as a phone call.
