She is warm, friendly and very professional. You can tell her job is her passion. I have never felt more at ease … it was also a very comfortable experience in her chair!! Fantastic experience: Dental North is AWESOME. Megan at Dental North is AWESOME..I have gone from dentist to dentist ito dentist for 40 years in Whangarei, because I haven't had good experiences. A friend recommended Dental North (thanks Cherie x) and she was right! They are caring, sensitive to your worries, understanding, extremely calming, AND do excellent work. . Fantastic experience: My daughter is very nervous about dental visits but from the moment we were greeted by the lovely receptionist to when we saw Megan's cheerful face we both felt a ease. Megan talked through with my daughter everything she was doing and even sat her at the computer to show her the xrays and photos. Fantastic experience: Hands down, the best dental experience of my life, every time! I saw Megan and Alice today, to get a tooth extraction and a minor touch up from an ACC claim on my front teeth, so painless! My front teeth are beautiful again and I could not feel anything when she removed by tooth.... still can't! Just incredible, definitely the best dental surgery in whangarei!

I usually see Megan, with Alice or Alia assisting — they’re all amazing. What’s normally a daunting experience actually feels uplifting, and I always feel really well looked after. They even go out of their way to fit me in when it’s urgent and they’re fully booked. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of this team, the friendly front desk who goes over and beyond to make things work for you, to Megan who with a warm smile introduces herself and is excellent at putting you at ease . Megan listened to what I was wanting then with total transparency she immediately put in place a plan to make it work. Her friendly, easy going nature makes it a real pleasure , she has a very gentle hand and has real sensitivity to put people at ease. What stood out was how humble and friendly the whole team was and how well they worked together. Really impressive.

Fantastic experience: I needed an urgent appointment for my 6yr old son last week, and Chanelle organized for us to come in immediately. We saw Megan, and my son received such great care in what was a really stressful time. I even got a message after hours on Friday from Megan to ask how he was doing. Had an emergency extraction that my wife needed doing, and they managed to fit her in. 5 other Dental surgeries in both Whangarei and KeriKeri couldn't fit us in. Fantastic experience: Absolute LIFESAVERS! The Team at Dental North (from the wonderful receptionists to the fabulous Dr James and his assistant) are just FABULOUS in EVERY WAY. I had a sudden dental emergency (aching tooth, worsening cavity), and was scrambling to find support on an early Monday morning. I found Dental North's website where they said specified that they do emergency bookings (so considerate and what a relief). I rang at 7:31, they got back to me in less than 10 minutes, and had me booked in for an appointment before 8:30am. I arrived stressed, was warmly and calmly greeted, checked in, and whisked away for an xray and check up, before all the options were presented. I decided on a tooth extraction, and Dr James was able to sort it out then and there, with no fuss, effort and pain, with gentleness and in such a relaxed space. It was such a smooth, seamless experience, that I was able to go straight back to work afterwards. Thank you SO much Dental North Team, you saved my poor self, and I'll be singing your praises far and wide!

Fantastic experience: I’ve suffered dental anxiety since a horrible experience in childhood, as a result I let things get really bad. I was forced to make an appointment after excruciating pain. I am very glad I chose Dental North, Megan treated me with extreme kindness and professionalism. The procedure was pain free and she and her assistant Alice (may have misheard her name cays of nerves) wee amazing. I definitely think they’ve cured me of my phobia of the dentist and I look forward to go back and fix all the other problems. Everyone was super friendly. I’ve never been to a practice like this. Fantastic experience: Walking into the Dental North office the reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dental hygienist, Julie, gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had. She was very friendly, welcoming and professional. She explained everything that was going to happen along the way. She checked often to make sure I was doing ok. Negative experience: Sorry, but you guys have been by far the worst dental experience ever. Dentist didn't even introduce himself when I came in so I actually had to look him up on your guys website afterward as one of my medical practitioners now wants to lodge a formal complaint about the whole ordeal to M.O.H. Came in for a molar extraction. I've had multiple extractions done in my life but this was by far the most painful one ive had to deal with. I've now had to seek further medical intervention to deal with the damage he's done and all up had to pay nearly $300 for that and obviously now paying more to undo the damage hes done. Won't be back. Spoke to my sister the other day who has also been to the same dentist at your practise. She had the same experience with him so definitely not just a me thing

Fantastic experience: BEST dentist I've ever been to! I'm petrified of the dentist, and take Lorazapam to help with the anxiety. After more than 10 years of avoiding the dentist, I got two fillings and a rotten tooth removed. Its been two days since and I still can't wrap my head around how easy it was. When I say absolutely painless, I mean it. And if you're like me, working yourself up into a panic for weeks before your appointment, please listen to me, cause that was me too. Fantastic experience: I recently went to Dental North. I had an amazing experience from being greated by lovely receptionists, to seeing the dental team and then leaving with my teeth feeling so fresh! I had a mouthguard moulded and my teeth checked by the amazing dentist James Edwards, thorough and entertaining man! I also had my teeth cleaned by the hygenist Catherine, she was so lovely, made sure I was comfortable and expalined what she was doing every step of the way. Highly suggest you check out Dental North, the practice is nice and modern, clean and the team really look after you.

Fantastic experience: While scanning Facebook came across Dental North advertising a clean for $169! The cheapest I’d seen in Whangarei was $800 so I booked in and was pleasantly surprised with the work and professionalism of all the staff! The young man who did the clean was receptive to all my concerns and I’ll definitely make Dental North my dentist ongoing! Already booked again for a six month checkup and clean!

Fantastic experience: Went for a checkup and a clean, couldn't have had a better experience! The staff there are really experts and take lots of care to make sure you're taken care of. They give you an honest assessment and you feel comfortable the whole time. I've always been nervous about cleans since its usually quite painful but James and Angus were professionals in using the latest equipment and it was over before i knew it! Not sure if i can go to any other dentist or clinic anymore they've set the bar very high. Take care of your chompers and just go see these guys they're fantastic!
