Negative experience: Had all my bottom teeth taken out 11 teeth all up. 7 months later still having problems. Plus a new top denture. Cost me $6000.00 Am now having everything relined and realigned so my teeth stay in and I have decent bite. They send all denture work to Hamilton where they could send it across the road for half the price. Thank god I won't need to go back to him. So rough and very over priced. Makes up work to be done when doesn't need it.

The first time I came, the dentist recognised I was under stress, reassured me and waited until I was calm. Sorted quickly and healed well. This time I saw a different dentist, also great service similar to the first time. I was informed of everything from the front desk, all the way to payment and I knew exactly what to expect. Negative experience: Avoid this place at all costs. The receptionist is awful! Demanding and rude. I have been here a few times over the years but now I’ve had enough of the rude receptionist and am booked in elsewhere. I honestly don’t no how they stay in business with her on the front desk. I think she just enjoys being a miserable controlling old lady who like to belittle people.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist, but CDC make it as pleasant of an experience as they possibly can. The staff are considerate and professional. The dentist himself seems incredibly knowledgeable and was very understanding and communicative. The receptionist is a gem. Even the assistant they were training was wonderful, incredibly kind! Highly recommend. Plus they accept CS card, making the price very reasonable.

Positive experience: After years of dental neglect and much apprehension and trepidation came here for treatment. Was welcomed warmly by the receptionist of the dentist. I’ve had root canals, wisdom tooth extraction, fillings replaced and put in. The dentist fully explains everything that needs to be done and has a very pleasant approach along with a very capable assistant. Thoroughly recommend the very professional services provided.

Fantastic experience: Best experience i have ever had with a dentist, dental nurse and dental work. Process was painless and professional, was made comfortable and supported through out. This is the First time I've been pain free and able to smile with confidence in over a decade,have received so many complements. The quote and the end price where the same, but recieved more than my moneys worth. its great to walk in and have a smiling face greet you and makes you feel welcomed, comfortable , like you're part of the family. I cannot recommend them or thank them enough.

Negative experience: If anyone has had poor dental treatment here which has resulted in infection or damage be aware that you can make a complaint online to the Health and Disability Commissioner. It is easy to do. We should be able to trust our medical professionals in this country and it appears that some people here have had very bad experiences.

Negative experience: Seems to be a pattern here and i agree the receptionist is extremely bitter and rude. I needed a root canal done but her attitude at the start before i saw the dentist put me off so decided to go elsewhere in the end and very glad i did as i was not going to give them my money.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying that dentists are my worst fear, but this dentist was really amazing. The dentist and his dental assistant were so kind and empathetic when they saw me shaking like a leaf, and the dentist took a couple extra minutes to explain thoroughly what would be happening in the procedure to help allay my fears. Pain free, super helpful, quick and efficient, I have only been there for one procedure but I will go back there again in future. They also took the time to help me with a WINZ quote which saved me a lot of money and stress. After several horrendous dental procedures as a kid from other orthodontists, (two of which landed me in a hospital) I seriously would rather do anything else but go to the dentist, but I can truly say that this one was a pretty good experience.

Positive experience: I have been seeing the doctor for over a decade, they have helped with winz quotes, dental/financial plans denture advice, fillings, extractions, cleans and much more.. I have been to some TRAUMATIC dentists in tauranga in my lifetime and all I can say is CDC has made me completely comfortable with pain free-treatment. During injection time there is always a friendly nurse offering her hand, I am always treated with respect and professionalism. I'd add the 5th star if they could come up with a way to put me to sleep . My husband also uses CDC because he's had terrible extractions from 2nd ave

Negative experience: The receptionist is completely vile. I phoned after 8 years to make an appointment. She starts belittling me over a missed appointment for a check up 8 YEARS ago! She's demanding I pay $75 immediately. Keep I'm mind I have been in touch with her since then. I feel like they're desperate for money. The dentist is no good, every single one of his fillings have fallen out. I have a childhood filling which lasted longer. Have you people no integrity? Be kind to yourself. Stay far away from this dirty place

Negative experience: Rang the other day to get information about some removals and fillings even a estimate was too hard for the lady I spoke with to understand. Definitely going elsewhere if the dentist is as incompetent as this person.

Negative experience: Don't expose your dental health in this clinic. It has a horrible service, the dentist is very aggressive in the procedure, they don't have all the materials. In my case, the dentist started with an endodontic process, then he said that this process could not continue and he had to extract the tooth, and that he did not know how to remove a dental abscess (something that all dentists can do) then I had to go to another dental center, where if they treated me with a qualified staff, I don't understand how this INDIAN dentist can be working in New Zealand because he does not know how to perform dental procedures.

Negative experience: The worst customer service that I have ever had! I tried booking an appointment with the Tauranga branch and the receptionist was extremely rude. I tried working with her to sort out a time but she was just really rude and difficult. I do not recommend them at all!

Negative experience: dental work was fine, if not a little uncared for. I had a chipped tooth and it has been fixed. However the receptionist was nice, although she did question me multiple times on the work i do as i'm self-employed which was a bit personal i thought. And then the male dentist decided to project his religious views onto me saying that "the creator made us all perfect and we shouldn't try change that" in regards to my piercings and tattoos. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. Other than the personal opinions of the staff, the dental work was fine.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time ever getting an extraction. I was nervous but they explained everything thoroughly to me and made me feel at ease. I had to get my wisdom tooth out as well as another next to it. Very happy with their service.

Negative experience: Absolute scammers. I rung to book in a tooth extraction, asked the costs. Then mentioned I was pregnant so receptionist said she was unsure if he'd do it but to come in for a consult. So I asked how much that would cost on top of extraction and she said nothing. It's all included. When finishing the consult, dentist said that he won't do extraction today and to wait until baby is born, but he'll need to charge me both times. And I said I specifically asked the receptionist about this to avoid unnecessary costs and that she said there was no extra costs, to which he said, well she didn't know and can't make that call. I feel absolutely ripped off and furious. Will not be going back to them for my tooth extraction. And highly recommend people avoid going there unless you like being scammed.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience I've had. Waited 45mins past appointment time for a full mouth examination due to bleeding gums. She has examined my gums for 30secs, not teeth to be told to book for a scale and clean. Couldn't be done then as they were understaffed apparently. Have then been charged $50 for said "full mouth examination".

Fantastic experience: Had gum disease with a problem tooth. Dentist I was with kept me with with dentist hygienist who kept me going back every 2 months and tooth was getting worse. I was so frustrated I went to a few dentists and asked them to take the tooth out but no one would. I eventually went to Complete Dental Care at Greerton. He was amazing and sat me down and explained why he wouldn't take the tooth out. Gave me xrays etc and showed me my problem. I had bacteria he said he could get rid of and save my tooth. He sold me a water flosser. Today my gum Disease has disappeared and I still have my tooth. I'm so grateful someone listened and explained. I'd rather have a dentist than a hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I've been here twice now. First time (about 12 mths ago) was after a very expensive visit to Team dental which then required an extraction. During both visits to CDC the dentist has been clear on my options and followed through on my choices in a professional manner. The receptionist is very friendly & professional as was the nurse. Reading through some of these other reviews I'm quite surprised as my experience was quite pleasant...thank you.

Negative experience: Absolutely appauling really..... Very poor customer service, from the receptionist to th dentist himself, extreme overcharging for a job that ended up getting infected. Which lead to alota money on A&E and painkillers, then a 4 day stay in hospital, loss of work, extreme uncomfort, emmense pain and a locked jaw. When all these things were to be addressed... we didnt hear back from them for well over a month, no refund. Asking around at other dental practises, the precedures used were incorrect and well over the going rate. Be nice to your teeth, go somewhere else ☺

Negative experience: Everything about this visit was awful, from seeing the Indian dentist calling himself "Doctor" when he only has a BDS, to the way he spoke to his nurse, to the deafening music in the waiting room... But the price (even with a Community Services Card) was outrageous and he gave me a quote for thousands of dollars for other "necessary" work. A year later I still can't chew with the tooth he filled. Another tooth broke recently and I drove for miles to avoid having to return. This other dentist took xrays which revealed that I have NO decay nor any need for crowns. He said my teeth are in excellent condition. Avoid at all costs (and I mean costs).

Negative experience: This guy is a robber. One filling for $325 which apparently included a consultation fee. When I asked about the rest of my teeth I was told to come back another time. Further to this, the receptionist had to be told my number numerous times over the phone as she couldn't understand basic English.

Positive experience: Cost $35 per tooth extracted with community services card... Sh did say I need 2x fillings and they'll cost $185 ea coz CSC only covers extraction

Negative experience: People were so rude! I was grilled about things by the dentist that were none of his business such as why I was wearing nail polish and why I took iron tablets. He then forgot to finish my filling and didn't buff the tooth, leaving it rough and annoying. He then started a root canal without my knowledge where he was only meant to be doing a filling!! I didn't find out until almost a year later when I had trouble again with that tooth and now am going to have to get the whole tooth replaced. My other fillings are also falling out, giving me trouble and have moved! Do not recommend!!!!

Negative experience: every one that works there is so rude.(a group of Indians) felt very uncomfortable. the dentist was very rude and told me he wont get paid by govt if i have been to a dentist in last 6 months and refused to do my teeth if so.. my partner got his tooth pulled out and the dentist didn't even give client care. just tugging away. defiantly will never go there again. do not reccomend this dentist !!!!
