Fantastic experience: I've been going to Chris for roughly 10 or more years. I've moved out the area and I'll still travel to see Chris. Friendly, remembers your name, your hobbies and the most important thing, for me, is that I feel relaxed, I'm confident that Chris is straight up with any issues my teeth might have and gives me a realistic solution. I've had multiple fillings and a tooth cap ( which another dentist had told me was a root canal) Chris saved the root and it's had no issues. I'll also be getting my teeth straightened next year.Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to PD for 15 years or so. Chris and the friendly team provide a great service - no waiting around, excellent dentistry, painless and reasonably priced. What I also like is that Chris also has all the latest technology so procedures are quicker and more efficient. Totally recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have never ever written a review before for any of the clinics I’ve visited, and I did want to write this review in appreciation of Chris for the kind gesture he did. I happened to visit this practice today to meet Chris just to introduce myself and my company and on my way out there was a sudden out pour of rain. Usually after conversations dentists do walk away , but Chris asked me if I needed help for which I told I can manage. But whilst I was waiting for the rain to stop , Chris got me an umbrella and walked me to the car in his scrubs which was an amazing gesture. He could have very well asked his staff to do it, but he did it by himself and that made me realise how well he would treat his patients with utmost care if he could care for a person whom he just met 10 mins ago. Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience. I needed a decent amount of work done and was pretty nervous beforehand. Chris and the team were really lovely and made me feel super comfortable. All the work I had done was completely pain free and I was kicking myself for not going sooner. Fantastic experience: I have been very pleased with the work Chris has done. I can recommend him to anyone needing a new dentist. However, I went to the Hygienist and was very disappointed in her service. A very basic plaque clean and no more. No advice, no in-between teeth clean - the bare minimum. Not like other hygienists I have been to. I was in the chair for 20-25 mins and it was $225. I will go elsewhere next time but continue to use Chris as the work he has done is very good.

Negative experience: Warning ......Warning ... Warning Dr Chris broke a dental drill bit whilst performing a root canal. He saw fit to neither say anything during, or after he sealed the canals + charged me as normal. The dental assistant also complicit to this. When I communicated multiple times the pain I felt the following days/months after "it's normal, it was a very big procedure, it will take a long time to settle" the responses I got. Suffering just over a year, someone recommended their dentist. Reluctantly I went to their dentist. The new dentist looked at the x-rays and do u know u have a dental drill in your canal! Look it's very clear. Sure enough clear as day the drill bit runs the length of the canal. The new dentist recommendation: immediate extraction + titanium implant. My issue who pays because with unconscionable deliberate misadventure)negligence by a professional - I believe Dr Chris u need to foot the bill. Put right what you knowing did to me. I've been via ACC - newsflash they are also failing to take responsibility. While you both twiddle your thumbs to figure it out. I'm still being poisoned by the dental drill bit, and suffering ailments I've NEVER previously suffered from. And NO Dr Chris I will not be silenced you arrogant pretentious dentist. I'm suffering + it's because of you breaking a drill bit in my root canal, you grinding my tooth so far down in silent unsuccessful attempt to retrieve the broken piece. Ultimately Dr Chris you and your assistant that day nominated silence, to cover up your less than professional work. So To any future patients at this clinic - up to u if u wish to trust someone that obviously operates without care or conscience. X. X. X. X. X. X. X. X In response to the reply by "the owner" (but I direct this to the person who chose the behaviour ie: Dr Chris). ️♂️ Did you miss the part where I let everyone know - you chose to abandon a broken drill bit in my root canal! You chose to say Nothing at the time. The Assistant was complicit. You charged me for a job you failed to do, plus you deposited a potentially lethal weapon and ground my tooth so far down After I explicitly requested you. And u think I shd show u an ounce of gratitude. Did u also note, the evidence is still in my mouth as I type this. Ps never wasted hrs of your time (what rot) u continue to be deceitful. The one visit was all it took for you to cause enough concern. I trusted my gut and that screamed "something wasn't right. I suffered and continue to suffer pain + infection. My new dentist discovered your Unprofessional dentistry. Blatant for all to see and she proved me right "something was and remains very wrong, it's a broken dental drill bit - u chose to abandon and cover up in my root canal. How dare you. You should quit that type of work is something people expect to read about happening in alley ways not NZ
I am sincerely saddened for your suffering but quite disturbed at the gross inaccuracies in your feedback. You demanded pain relief on the last day before the Christmas holidays in the year 2020 and we kindly squeezed you in. We advised the root canal therapy needed to be completed soon after in January. We have had two subsequent appointments where you wasted 5 hours of the dentist’s time because you were too busy to attend and complete the emergency work after the holidays. You clearly were no longer in pain as you were too busy to attend your appointment in January and failed to attend the appointment booked in February which was made by you after late cancelling the first appointment. You only went to another dentist over a year later and claimed that it was our clinic that allegedly broke your file. That is 1.5 years after our one and only appointment in December 2020. Any type of emergency/ temporary dental work that was supposed to last only a couple of weeks would almost certainly fail whether there was a broken instrument or not. We can not be responsible for your own neglect. And yet, as a token of good will noticing your distress you have received a full refund already for all monies paid at the time of your complaint and that was without even questioning your unproven accusations. We stand by our excellence in treatment and patient care. Your claims that I knowingly fractured an instrument in your tooth are totally false and defamatory. If you had bothered to return for your follow up care any broken drill bit would have been discovered and managed appropriately and your tooth would have been saved.
Fantastic experience: Easy to make an appointment and Dr Lim took time to explain the dental situation and offered alternatives. Very gentle and I did not experience any discomfort. Very happy with the service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chris is Exceptional. I did two fillings today. To me, the most frightening part is the numbing injection :D. But, the injection was really gentle and the filling was perfect too. He was so caring and friendly. Also Kate with her lovely smile and the kind dental assistant Seetha made my experience wonderful. Fantastic experience: Fantastic place! I had a fair bit of work that needed to be done. The staff were all nice n friendly. I use to find the numbing injection part scary, but each time I went and had the injection, I could hardly feel anything! It was amazing! Definitely recommend this place to anybody. Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dental office I've been to! Chris is very gentle and professional! The whole staff is super friendly and make you feel so comfortable during your whole visit. Very clean office and nicely organized. Fantastic experience: First time visit to the dentist in NZ. Service was brilliant, the dentist is friendly, and gentle. Hygeniest is great even reception is really friendly. More or less the same price as anywhere else, either way, its worth the price.
