Fantastic experience: Previously (over 15 years ago) I had work done on my teeth. It was very costly and my jaw and gums were usually sore for a week. I stopped going to the dentist. During the last few weeksI received great service from Smile in Kelston. I was given great advice on how to look after my teeth better. I had my teeth cleaned and my mouth felt pretty good after it. My faith in dentists is back. I am returning to have more work done on my teeth. Thank you Smile - Kelston!

Negative experience: Not a pleasant experience at all with Dr. Dorothy. Just took a peek and didn't really address the problem. Didn't feel confident in her examination. We ended up visiting another clinic to get our problem resolved.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DR DOROTHY OKA HAYASHI !!!! Went to get a filling done and doctor Oka hayashi was rude and REALLY REALLY rough. Had to raise my hand multiple times to let her know I was in pain where she then stuck a 4th needle roughly into my gum (guessing she's angry at this point because I keep telling her I'm feeling pain). I have had this procedure done before multiple times and never have I ever felt this much pain and discomfort from any other dentist I have been to. Went home not being able to feel my whole face and couldn't sleep from the pain of all the needles. I have contacted them to speak to a manager but they couldn't put me through. But will not stop contacting till this is sorted as I do not want this to happen again to anyone. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Your money will be better off somewhere else. Where you get treated like a customer and not a dog.

Negative experience: If I could give a zero for the service. I would. I had oppointment for clean up and asked to get consulatation for tooth extraction. Dentist Dorothy was so rude and she was so rough on my gums. Did not clean my tooth properly and finished the work less then 15 mins. She was that hard on my gums I was tearful during the procedure. My gums were sensitive anyway. I am having constant bleeding since that and got a big wound in my gum. I am trying to contact the head office to complain about this lady Dorothy. How can she be so rude to patients. If I don’t complain she would do the same thing to other patients. I feel so disappointed and would not recommend anyone to see specially DR Dorothy. She should be fired from her job.

Positive experience: Only went there due to my dentist not being available and also they offered afterpay but to my disappointment the receptionist didn't know how to set it up so I paid full price anyway which was kind of a waste of my time for me going there as other dentists were charging less. The saving grace was that Dentist Dorothy did a great extraction job and happy with that but the receptionist needs to work out the afterpay thing.

The dentist provided her expertise advice and very patient with me eventhough I did ask her several times for the same questions so as to reconfirm my understanding with the inflamation on my tooth and the fee charged was reasonable. Negative experience: Never informed me the charges of x-ray I booked free dental check end of having X -rays and advised for two fillings $800 Went to another dentist charged $420 for fillings

They patiently worked with me to get my fathers paperwork sorted for him to get SuperGold pricing due to a misunderstanding on my part. Fantastic experience: Hi Darryl Bellchambers here. I had a painful tooth ache on Friday morning. I phoned a few Denists and found Smile Dental in Kelston were the best in my area, they were able to see me on Friday afternoon ( the same day). As soon as I arrived I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed by the staff at Smile Dental Kelston. Once I was in the Dentist chair I was told of the many options I could choose aswell as the outcome after every procedure. Having chosen a procedure, I was put at ease by both the Dentist and Dental Assistant. I am 63 years old and have had alot of work done on my teeth over the years. I have to say the staff at Smile Dental Kelston were professional and very helpful and made sure I was comfortable on a regular basis during the procedure. I will be going back to Smile Dental Kelston soon as I need 1 more filling. Smile Dental Kelston are the best Dentist I have ever been to. I have been to another Smile Dental Surgery before they were very good aswell, however Smile Dental Kelston are even better. I have had no problems at all after my procedure and am healing up very fast without need of any pain relief. Their prices are very competitive. It was a pleasant surprise all around. I thank the staff very much for putting me out of pain in such an easy painless way.

Fantastic experience: I found a fantastic dentist in Kelston, after finally seeking help for some tooth pain. Was able to book an appointment over the phone for that Saturday lunch time and the small team went straight into taking x-rays, before presenting me with a couple of payment options. The Kelston Dentist gave me all the information I needed to help decide the best option for me and I was happy for them to go ahead with that procedure. Left the dentist very happy and pain free, the dentist also gave me some good after care advice for the following few days. Having not visited a dentist for several years, it was a pleasant experience and I’ve been happy to return to the Kelston dentist more regularly.

Negative experience: I wrote to this head office expressing my disappointment in the service received at Smile Dental Kelston and never received a response. Had a booked appointed. After waiting for an hour in reception (with no music, magazines or tv) I asked the receptionist when she returned if my dentist was running late to be advised that there was still another person to go ahead of me. I felt like I was in a walk -in clinic. I was not advised at any stage that the clinic was running 1.5 hours behind, or asked if I wanted to reschedule on another day or wait. Instead I was left in reception by myself wondering what was happening, with no explanation or apology for the delay.

Negative experience: Definitely won't recommend. Went for consultation and dentist advised for tooth extraction. As it's my first visit I was afraid coz I couldn't take pain. Seeing my condition he didn't even calm me instead offered to go specialist and get it removed. And charged $95 just for xray. Worthless and useless.
