Fantastic experience: I travel over an hour to visit this exceptional dental practice. And it's always worth it, the care and service are truly outstanding.

Negative experience: Dr. Bahi Loganathan. I would NOT recommend. She was ignorant and in my opinion, inexperienced to have caused further dental complications and expenses. I went in for sensitivity. Dr Bahi had X-rays taken and advised that a filling was necessary. She performed the filling procedure. However, I left with extreme sensitivity in that tooth instead. I find out from a different provider, that 2 parts of my root were left exposed causing an abcess and alot of pain. Options were now a root canal or tooth extraction.

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome (not a word I usually use for a dentist!) experience at Hamilton Family Dental! After trying so many dentists and wasting money, I finally found a team that listened, explained everything clearly, and actually fixed the real issue—painlessly and quickly. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was amazing. I’ll definitely be back for more work. Thank team!

Negative experience: Not good experience. Was meant to have 3 fillings. Now need to pull one tooth and the teeth and areas are really really sensitive. Can't eat hot food or very cold food or drinks and I can't chew on normal solids with out sensitivity or pain. Too scared to go back here to be honest and would recommend going somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is polite. They got me in and out quickly. Even the pharmacy lady next door is a sweet heart.

Negative experience: Absolutely atrocious experience here. Would not recommend at all. Had asked the dentist to stop doing something, she forced my mouth open and continued to hammer on a tooth then inject the roof of my mouth without any numbing gel. From this visit and a previous one, I now need extensive corrective work to fix the damaged teeth.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bahi and the team really made me feel as comfortable as I could. The dentist petrifies me but the whole team made me feel relaxed and unpressured. I had a full mouth extraction and immediate dentures put in. The team were very supportive and talked through everything with me before, during and after the procedures. Highly recommend them all at the clinic. The dental assistants are amazing too. Thankyou very much!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bahirathy Loganathan is my treating Dentist. She is a very good and a skilful Doctor. I am confident with her treatment. Have found the staff to be good and courteous. All the services are very good and have no hesitation in recommending the clinic.

Negative experience: the staff and assistant are really nice, but the doctor was too straightforward, just looked at my xray +- 15 seconds then directly told me that I should extract all 4 of my wisdom tooth (each tooth will cost $600). My xray looks okay, but she said that, and her reason was just because there will be no space. So pressuring for me to do the extraction right away.

Negative experience: Sorry, got treatment once. Problem persists even after cleaning and treatment. Advised me to do another clean in after 6 months. But why not fixed with first cleaning. Should I wait for another six months with the same problem. They are not interested in my 'teeth.'

They went the extra mile, fitting me in on a Friday at 5pm to do an extraction and fitting an extension to an existing plate (which they managed to source in just one day). All staff made me feel right at home. Well done all!!

Negative experience: Rude receptionist and the rest of the Dental staff here on the day, were .. just ok! Going to the dentist can be daunting. My experience here left me upset, belittled and frustrated. Customer service and empathy needs to be practiced here. My visit was a few weeks ago and yes.. great job with the little job that was required. No way will I come back here.

It ws very st8 4ward as 2 what needed 2 happen. Dental lady is 2 the point & does a gd mahi. I could also play my own sounds on my phn while i ws gtn a filling. I hve recommended ths place already 2 whaanau as it gts the job done.

The dentist 'Bahi' who treated me today done such a brilliant job filling in my front teeth so brilliant in fact I would rate her as a perfectionist, and on top of that she was so quick to extract 2 of my teeth that when she'd finished I thought she'd only done 1 Love it! Negative experience: Very disappointed with this dentistry ! Had bought a Grabone voucher for full dental examination + 2 X-rays. As soon as the dentist found out that I needed specific X-rays for 2 missing teeth to show to my dentist in India he was completely disinterested. Left me sitting in the chair for 20 mins & did NO examination AT ALL & gave me 2 X-ray hard copies that were not of the required areas at all !! He repeatedly told me that it would cost more to get the specific X-rays I needed (I had checked with their dental Asst before buying the voucher that they would provide bitewing X-rays to show my dentist back home) but obviously the dentist was not happy to do those X-rays at the Grabone voucher price & was more interested in making more $$ by taking incorrect X-rays & doing NO examination as promised in the voucher price ! Will not be using or recommending this dentistry again :(

Positive experience: Hamilton. They were generous and communicative. I felt no pain. The room was clean bright and comfortable. The tooth surfaces were all a bit rough afterwards though. They did say I could go back to get these sorted.

Fantastic experience: Dr Timothy Mak is a Gentle Dentist. He takes his time to reassure his client of the procedure, he shows you the X-rays (low dose, by the way), he discusses with you the options available. His Surgery has up to the minute equipment, parking is right outside, so it's easy to get to see him. There is little waiting time. Dr Timothy Mak is honorable, and very conscientious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hill Park Dental, Hamilton. Caren Cambridge WAIKATO
