Fantastic experience: Unfortunately my kid had an accident in kindergarten and his tooth came straight out. Went to Maunu Dental clinic and the so kind receptionist gave appointment for next day. Be there on time and attended by a great team and had a wonderful experience. Thank you team.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Maunu Dental after dealing other inadequate dentists. I Met Richard by chance and his professionalism shone. He showed true care and made space to include me in his practice and proceeded to save a tooth that others had said couldn't be saved! It is actually a pleasure to come to the dentist knowing I'm in good hands with integrity. Richard takes pride in his work with understanding. Fantastic experience: I needed urgent attention on a tooth that was chipped and badly aching. They were able to fit me in that day! Lovely receptionist and i had Jason work on my tooth. Did let him know i was absolutely terrified of the dentist but he made me feel so comfortable and was gentle the whole time. Will definitely be back for regular check ups in the future. Negative experience: Totally disgusted with the lack of care from a certain male dentist. Who needs to retrain as he cannot tell if a tooth needs pulling or not. I do not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Overall great experience at Maunu dental! It can take a little while to get through to them on the phone but it’s worth the wait. I saw a dentist called Ivy and she was so lovely. Ivy helped me to understand some of the concerns I had by explaining things and giving me lots of information. I also saw a hygienist (forgot her name) but she was just as lovely as Ivy. She gave me lots of helpful information and made the process of teeth cleaning seem a bit less frightful.

The level of professionalism that is pared with a relaxed setting is unrivaled. Each person of the team was helpful and positive. The costing is very competitive, but the workmanship is high-end. Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin Minne and a lovely young nurse treated my 74 yo mum. It all started during the lockdown. I seek a good dentist in Northland as we had an shocking experience with Lumino. At Maunu Dental my mum has been cherished with respect, patience, friendliness, and care. Dr. Martin is honest, clear and the work he has done can be compared to the European quality as we used to. I am absolutely sold and so does my family and friends. Well done and Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Finally found a dentist our whole family loves! This is no easy task as each one of us are very different people and have have different dental needs. Richard, who I believe is the owner/manager, is a lovely man and a great dentist. I'm personally about to embark on another set of serious dental work. Quick background, I was born missing 9 permanent teeth. So my baby teeth fell out, and there was nothing to come in. Because of that, I've had extensive dental work over my life. The issue I have with my teeth is a genetic problem. Which causes other things for me. I got my first dental bridge on my bottom lower, front teeth, when I was 19. I've since then, had a lot of other work done, including a full top, front bridge. Which was done in my late 30's, I think 3 of my missing teeth were smack dab in the middle of my smile, hence the bridges. Now I'm having some serious issues with my bite being way off...I suffer from bad migraines, have all my life. Everyone said when I started going through the change that they'd go away. They haven't! If you're a sufferer from migraines then you really know how bad they can be. Nightmare bad. Richard took a good look, with his eyes and with X-rays, and said that my bite is way off. Which could be leading to these migraines... Make sense? So he's made a lovely plan for me to get a new lower bridge and to build up the back teeth so I can chew normally. Things people take for granted, don't take your teeth for granted! You only get one set and in my case I only have 23 adult teeth in my mouth, And I treasure each one! I was so nervous that Richard was going to say, it's time for dentures. Not to say there's anything wrong with them, I'm just feeling way too young for those! I'm an Expat. Kiwis, I know you think your dental costs are very expensive. I used to live here years ago, and was warned by a friend from back then that the dental stuff here cost a fortune! It's really not. I was dropping $4,000usd everytime I took my kid to the dentist back home! That's expensive. Plus, Richard here found plastic that was left in my kids mouth, from the former dentist! I want to thank him for that. This pic is outside the office, it's so pretty back there! The front desk people are all very nice and professional. I highly recommend Maunu Dental!

Fantastic experience: My 9yr old son was very nervous and scared after a bad experience with a school dental therapist. Richard Stallworthy was suggested to us and I can not recommend him and his staff enough. He gave us advise, options and most importantly the time that my son and I needed to gain his trust. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to come here from Rachel, the orthodontist at "Your Smile" in Whangarei. I have been to a couple others and am so glad she recommended here. I have seen Emily and Richard and they are both so friendly and Amazing! I get regular cleans with Shereen, (soon to be with Jasmine) and my teeth feel and look great after it. My partner also sees Ivy and she's just as great, (I had to hold his hand the first couple of visits ). Honestly I've never been to a dentist where the whole team are friendly, welcoming and great at what they do. I recommend everyone I know to come here as they're the best in town. I look forward to going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Richard by my previous dentist for a procedure on my tooth that I had just spent alot of money on. When he saw it said it could not be saved and had to be removed and suggested a bridge which was not suggested at all my my previous dentist only a very expensive implant. The bridge was much more in my budget and they got me booked in really quick which is not easy in these times. I walked out of there with the bridge fitted this week and could not be happier I have not been this confident smiling in a long time. I only wish I had gone there first. Richard and his assistant were awesome. I will not be going anywhere else!

Positive experience: I have been comming to this surgery on and off over a number of years. My dentist and hygienists have been visiting lately have been gentle and set clear instructions for maintenance and game plan moving forward. I have in the past experienced some niggly issues with regards to past receptionists who were rude when communicating with me or ingeneral not very informative with bookings and times . But as of late I havnt experienced anything uncomfortable.

Desmond took out 10 of my teeth and put 2 partial plates in straight away with no needles involved. I have nothing but praise for the treatment and care I received from the staff and the follow up call the next day as to my condition. A very unstressful experience.
