She has provided exceptional care, from fillings and root canals to crowns, and now we’re moving on to the next step—the implant. Her expertise, patience, and attention to detail have made every procedure smooth and comfortable. Dr. Sumaya takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and genuinely cares about her patients. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ernie Park had made my experience visiting Dominion Dental Centre most recently a great experience and also provided quality work. I am not a very good adult patient because of my previous bad experiences with a couple of dental centers that it has instilled the fear in me going to one. But I was glad that I found Ernie as he had listened to my concerns and had helped me with my fillings and crown. His gentle caring mannerism and his expertise to overcome my anxiety made sure I was coping and my well-being during the whole process of crowning and it was too not bad after all! Last but not least the staffs were polite and professional – great service and care. When you find the best – you keep it.

Negative experience: Ruined my mouth. Pulled out two teeth in the back of my mouth instead of saving them. Now I can only chew on one side. One of his fillings broke. Didn’t complete job on some of the teeth. Just overall worst dentist and worst customer service. The one time I didn’t have enough money to pay when I’d leave $1000s in credit she rudely insisted on taking my driver license like I’m a criminal. Just disgusting people.

Fantastic experience: Sumaya is an awesome dentist. I have been going to her for many years now, and am always very pleased with the results of her dental work. Sumaya has a warm, kind, gentle manner, and always patiently explains her dental work and any answers to my questions. I have had 4 crowns perfectly done by Sumaya, and every 3 months I come in to get my teeth scaled and polished by her. My teeth come out lovely and white, and I have had many compliments about my white teeth. Parking outside is good, and her staff are lovely too. I thoroughly recommend Sumaya as a dentist, and am so pleased that the long term of my dental health is in her capable, professional hands.

Negative experience: **updated** Last year/year before I got a couple of fillings done through them that haven’t held up. I had to have surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed and they recommended me a friend that they went to dental school with, that ended up causing me so much trauma, that I now have permanent jaw issues, and the surgery cost was insane. This whole experience has brought back such a severe fear of dentists. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Money hungry, bad quality dental work. Yes the dominion dental centre by the barfoot. Have since gone elsewhere for better quality work.

Fantastic experience: I,ve had from restaurations to implants with Dr. Sumaya and her crew; it was always a warm and professional experience. I would recomend it without exitation. Best destist I've ever had!!!

Negative experience: *****money grab***** Was told I needed 100s of dollars of work, I had two more opinions from two different dental practices including an Endodontist and the other dentists said I didn’t need any fillings. Why fix things that don’t need fixing is what the other dentists told me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been more than satisfied after a visit to Dr Sumaya’s clinic. I find Dr Sumatra very professional and her explanations on the problems with your teeth along with the images on the computer, albeit a bit graphic, most understandable. I must add that her dental assistants are a cut above your average ones with their care and humour.

Negative experience: Went a few months ago as I saw a ‘free’ consultation for fast braces on the website which they informed me that it wasn’t free which was fine however it to this day still says ‘a free consultation’ on there website which I think is so misleading. They contacted me and asked if I could come earlier as there was a cancellation which was fine I went extra early to fill out a form wasn’t even greeted by the receptionist sat down and waited then she eventually gave me the form to fill in and I waited over 20 mins+ the scheduled time they asked. She (the dentist) was going on about many other things but the braces for most of the consultation such as fillings, wisdom teeth etc and getting it done with them which I understand those may be some issues but I mainly came for the ‘fast braces’ information and check up. When she eventually talked about the braces she was explaining the details of the traditional braces which I was slightly confused about as I selected in the booking fast braces. She then informed me that I don’t qualify for the fast braces but only bcos I asked. I booked for a fast braces consultation and it’s fine that I dont qualify for it but you should inform that person from the start and that this other one is more suitable for you instead of just deciding that and giving them different info as that can be confusing. She also then advised because i’m a adult (22) it’d be a bit harder for movement (understood) and that she couldn’t guarantee results but they could bring someone more specialised to look into it after but at an extra charge that depends on them. I Was given a quote and then told every visit per month to the dentist will be an extra $300 so all together was the quoted price for the braces and then doubling that plus more just for visits (keeping in mind the time frame of 2.5 years with them on and visiting each month and possibly paying extra for a specialist as results weren’t guaranteed). Which is so incredibly beyond expensive even without seeing the specialist. Also when i emailed them to confirm the payment structure as I was deciding they replied via text message. I obviously didn’t go ahead with getting my braces done there i’ve gotten traditional braces done at a dentist in Mt wellington where the cost of braces, visits each month for wire changes or tightening, 2 free visits post-braces and a retainer that is like the invisalign are all included in the cost (and soooo much more affordable) unlike this dentist that was saying after my braces are done she will put permanent retainers at the back of the teeth on which i’ve seen a lot of videos about are not recommended as they break easily and seeing a review below on this same dentist with someone having a bad experience with those permanent retainers.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sumaya Ershad was very friendly, kind and gentle. On top of this, she explained my wisdom teeth situation in great detail. Sadly they can't come out yet, but once they are down enough, I will be going through here. They even had Netflix! Overall, the best experience I have had with a dental clinic. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Excellent friendly service and well communication

Negative experience: Don't be sucked in by the cheap exam, got recommended $1700 worth of work went for a second opinion elsewhere and got told none of the recommended work was necessary. Price wasn't mentioned at all when the dentist discussed these recommendations with me and pressured me to book these appointments straight away without telling me the cost- thank goodness I didn't! Do your research and always get a second opinion if you feel something might be overpriced and unnecessary, might save yourself $1,700. Edit: forgot to mention, included in this $1,700 quote was 7 fillings. I've never experienced any pain, seen any signs of decay or cavities in these 7 teeth which is what made me suspicious. Second dentist I visited told me my teeth were healthy and there was no need to get any fillings let alone 7! I still can't believe your dentist tried to pressure me into getting 7 perfectly healthy teeth filled!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to dentists now for 55 years and Dr Sumaya and her staff are so friendly and informative ,they have change my whole approach to my dental regime. I highly recommend them .

My dental nurse was very kind, attentive and made sure I was at ease at all times. She was very knowledgable and thoroughly explained my mouth xrays and photos to me. Fantastic experience: I have to have one loose tooth extracted urgently on Saturday, contacted a few providers with no luck, booked an appointment with Dr Park on the same day. He is very professional, happy with the service and everything, deserves a 5 star rating.

I had a successful 10 months orthodontics treatment with Dr. Sumaya as a 30+ adult female. She is the nicest dentist I've ever had. She is highly experienced, very trustworthy, and she always treats her patient gently. I also love her explaining all the details explicitly in the process, which made me have a clear understanding of what is going on. I'm very satisfied with the final result. Positive experience: Overall pleasant experience with Dominion Dental Centre, thank you so much! Many dental clinics have refused to undertake a complicated surgery to extract my wisdom tooth. I'm glad I came to Dominion Dental Centre. During the consultation, Dr Sumaya explained the risk of the procedure relating to my situation, and was very thorough with her explanation. The next day, Admin checked in with me which I thought was super kind of them.

Negative experience: I got my braces done here which was fine. However I got the fixed retainer wire on my bottem teeth, after 4 months it has started to come off and cuts my tounge whenever I eat. They are meant to last aronud 3 years, and she is refusing to fix them for a discounted cost or anything even though this is her fault. Never come here

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in years so I had gone in to the dental clinic already anxious and nervous about my scale and polish appointment. I was welcomed by the receptionist/ dental assistant with a big smile who also put me at ease before seeing the dentist and I thank you! half way through the scale and polish I had to sit up as the nerves took over - I was then again assured by both the dental assistant/ receptionist and dentist that I was in good hands and to take my time to collect my thoughts before proceeding again - if I still wanted too and to my surprise I got through it! Now Some clinics wouldn’t have had the time for patients like me but Dominion dental centre staff sure have the patience of saints! I walked away with my scale and polish and also happy with the service provided - so for that I definitely would recommend your business to friends and family :) Thank you so much! Jane

Negative experience: One of the worst customer services I've ever encountered. They kept postponing because they hadn't received the confirmation letter from ACC. I called ACC and they said they don't send copies out anymore, just the one to whom the claim belongs. ACC called them while I was on hold to state this fact so I thought I'd be good to go. I ring them straight after I got off the phone with ACC and it was like their conversation with ACC didn't happen. The receptionist, Bernadette, wouldn't budge on them giving me treatment without receiving their own copy of the confirmation letter. I kept telling them that the ACC worker had just finished explaining to them that they wouldn't receive any letter because ACC doesn't do that, and all they have to do is send it in a copy of my letter and invoice and it's paid. Eventually she told me she 'doesn't have to listen to me". This has been a huge inconvenience as I need my tooth as an ESOL Teacher. This is what happens when money is a higher priority than the customer. Ironically it was easy money for them if they just understood that the customer is always right.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews, but this time I believe that I should. I had a problem with a tooth, and I was desperately looking for a dentist. I'm really scared of going to any kind of doctor and I was very annoyed that I didn't have any other choice. One of my friends encouraged me to try Dominion Dental Centre, and I am very glad I listened to him. The doctor was incredibly gentile, and I felt no pain whatsoever. He explained to me every procedure without losing his patience and I didn't even realize when the whole thing was over. Even though I haven't been to the dentist for about two years, the doctor didn't try to make me feel bad or mock me. On the contrary, he told me that a lot of people are afraid to go to the dentist, and it is nothing to be ashamed about. The office is very spacious and features state-of-the-art equipment. The staff is so warm and friendly, that you feel like everybody there is determined to make you have a great experience, even though you are at the dentist.

The receptionist was very helpful and managed to squeeze me in for a quick check up at time of 4.40pm on Friday. Dr S Ershad was absolutely amazing and very professional. I found this centre was full of positive vibe and everyone in there was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!!!! I have recommended it to all my friends and families. Fantastic experience: I originally heard great comments from colleagues of mine who had braces from here. I decided to come for a visit for a consultation on braces options for myself. Dr Sumaya was so nice and patient, she explained all my options and was very upfront on the thought order of cost. In preparation for getting braces, I had to have my wisdom teeth removed and I decided to have it down with Dr Sumaya at the clinic. The experience was not as scary as everyone says and the result was great, I didn't even have any swelling the next day. Super recommended.
