Fantastic experience: Great experience a few months ago with Dr. Atkin and the team. I thought it was great value for money, too, at $130 for a 45-minute new patient appointment, including x-rays (in my case). Dr. Atkin was super informative, explaining everything so clearly - particularly helpful as I had some fairly unusual issues! They even gave a little Colgate gift parcel as a welcome for the new patient visit. Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: Was referred to Champion Dental by my normal dentist for a tricky wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Atkin was wonderful, he explained everything thoroughly and clearly, and carried out the work with skill and care. One of, if not the most pleasant dental experience I have had and all at a very reasonable price!

Fantastic experience: Never been so happy to hand over my hard earned money! I called Champion dental today for an appointment for a tooth I broke over the weekend. They got me an appointment within a week and put me on the emergency list. Within an hour I was given a call and offered a same day appointment. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr Stephen Atkin this afternoon and after assessing the situation gave me all the info I needed along with my options. What a wonderful experience with top notch service! My tooth is all fixed up and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Thanks team! Keep up the amazing Mahi! TP.

Negative experience: Profit over care . I wouldn't recommend using this business. Had a tooth removed and caused me grief months later . Then had to spent money with doctors wait in A & E for 8 hours just to fix the workmanship at champion Dental
Hi Glen, It's disappointing for this misleading comment to be made about profit over care. If we didn’t insist on being paid for our services we would be forced to close, as we do not receive funding. In this case, we have no option but to deny making further appointments. Of course, if there was a known treatment complication we would have been happy to examine that. We have attempted to reach out to establish details on the mentioned complication, we are yet to get a response. These concerns were raised on the date of this review, just after we refused to make an unrelated appointment and it’s surprising that your concerns were not raised earlier, considering we have spoken on numerous occasions over the last few months. If you would like to discuss anything further, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Fantastic experience: First time going to champion dental. Will definitely be back usually put off after a dentist visit but Jaymon is the man. Really clear and helpful! Mate deserves a raise. Recommend champion for anyone no matter the size of the job!!

Fantastic experience: Before coming here I was absolutely terrified of going to any dentist but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at champion dental. Felt super comfortable with Bryan and his assistant Jo who worked on my root canal and tooth extractions.The reception lady’s are awesome aswell! Negative experience: I went to the dentist for a chipped tooth. He asked who was paying for the treatment. I told him work and income. He charged $3178. I refused the treatment because I was not comfortable with WINZ paying for that. I'm quite angry because in the past when I have gone to get quotes from this business and others, they have charged ridiculous quotes because WINZ are paying for or it. I received an email from Hamish the director asking me to remove my comment and they will not charge me the $98 fee I was charged. I declined. You can't pay me off Hamish
It's disappointing to receive this review, we strenuously deny any accusation we quote in a different way for WINZ patients. We stand by our clinician and their diagnosis. We take great pride in offering treatment which will solve the clinical need and 100% support our clinicians in not cutting corners. As healthcare providers we have standards of care, we cannot perform treatment that in our opinion is unethical, will fail, cause further damage or risks our clinicians being exposed to professional scrutiny. We can accept if you do not personally see the value in the diagnosis or like the cost of the proposed treatment, but it's unfair to mislead the public as to the amount of treatment needed, and to make unfounded accusations regarding our pricing. We have one fee structure, our prices will occasionally vary if the treatment difficulty is expected to be significantly easier or more difficult than normal, there was no variance in price from our standard pricing in the quote mentioned.
Fantastic experience: If I could give a six star review it would be to Champion Dental. Straight away I felt at ease and confident about going to see the team at Champion Dental from the first phone call with Isabella. Isabella went above and beyond to answer my many questions and elevate my anxiety. Hamish also provided a high level of customer service that continued to exceed all my expectations. I saw Jaymon and he was so patient and understanding also going the extra mile to make sure I was fully informed and given all my options. I am very pleased to say I am actually looking forward to starting my dental treatment and that is something I never thought I would say!

Fantastic experience: I was a nervous wreck for my appointment due to previous bad experiences at other places in the past, and could not believe how kind, patient, and sensitive the staff all were to this. My wisdom removal couldn't have gone better; quick and professional with great communication throughout. Wish that I could give more than 5 stars to Lucy & the whole team at Champion Dental, and I definitely will never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Champion Dental is the epitome of what a medical service centre should be able to provide. In the year of Invisalign treatment not once did I have to wait for my appointment or feel like I was being sold on unnecessary costly procedures. All the staff were incredibly helpful (although keep your eye on Jo who’s a little sneaky) and don’t mind a bit of banter every now and then. Who would have thought going to the dentist could be a pleasant experience but somehow Lucy and the team (except Jo) make it happen. Even enough for me to take 60s out of my super busy/ super important life to make my first ever google review. 100% would recommend to any other super important people looking for dental treatment.
