Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dunedin Dental for a few years now, when I first started there I'd only been seeing the Dental School and there was a lot wrong with my teeth. My dentist Joel had his work cut out for him but he did it with a smile and with grace. I appreciate Joel and the team at Dunedin Dental so much, now that the main work is done they are wonderful at helping me maintain my teeth as long as possible. Dunedin Dental is probably the best dentist in Dunedin.

I have autism, adhd among other sensory issues and I felt catered to and looked after. Everything was explained to me and setting up for my next appt was very simple. They're definitely going to become my full time dentist :)

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dunedin Dental!! From the get-go, the sign up process was a breeze and I received a call the very same day to organise my first appointment. During my initial appt, Dentist Raquel was warm, friendly and took the time to get to know me and build rapport. Raquel was really encouraging, non-judgemental, and answered any and all questions I had. She explained the results of her assessment in a way that I could understand, and I left the appt feeling positive and as though I had learned a bunch of information about how to take care of my teeth going forward. During my appt with Oral Hygienist Nikki, I felt she was warm, friendly, relatable, and attuned to my needs. Nikki always explained what she was doing, and answered all of my questions throughout. I found reception staff to be friendly, and the practice overall felt like an inviting space rather than an anxiety-provoking one. So pleased to have enrolled here.

Fantastic experience: Dunedin Dental is the place you go regularly for all your dental needs. The team is SO professional but also really care about their clients. They listen attentively to the needs and concerns of each client and make sure the treatment plan, if any, is explained and understood. Joel instantly puts you at ease and puts years of dental trauma to rest. Lavinia is the sweetest person and I love how she explains what she does before she does it. It’s honestly a JOY to go there!

They walk you through every step of the way, easing anxiety and providing excellent advice. I was especially nervous after having bad experiences previously but the team at Dunedin Dental made the experience so worthwhile. I will not go anywhere else now!

Fantastic experience: After many years of using a teaching facility and so many incidents and poor service I finally chose to see a private dentist...Dunedin Dental... My anxiety was so bad I on many occasions became upset in the waiting room. Once changing to private it actually works out cheaper or much the same. Im In the chair less than quarter of the time I was at the last facility. Far better service, facilities and great things to occupy your mind by watching TV above you. Very friendly staff all round no matter who your dealing with and they take Southern Cross Health Care. I haven't been able to fault them.

They put me at ease, and their use of technology makes for a great distraction! The clinic is well presented and they use modern and up to date technology throughout. The team are very friendly and understanding and explain everything very well. I feel very safe in their hands!

Fantastic experience: Dunedin Dental provides first rate dental services including hygienists and gum specialists. The staff are efficient, reassuring, warm in manner and welcoming. They communicate clearly about any dental problems and possible options. We have used them for several years. Their equipment seems very up to date and recently installed. Their entertainment installed is reassuring and distracts form the dental procedures.nicely. The spaces are well designed and asthetically appealing.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite Dental practice. It's tucked away in the city center, with elevator access to get to the third floor, (or a flight of stairs if you're more able). Upon entrance you get a beautifully clean, spacious reception area. There are videos of nature in the background and an area to wash your hands to freshen up. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the professionalism cannot be beaten and the dental care is top notch. Dr. Zaid is a wicked cool Dentist who I fully trust. He is confident, calm and cool, and any anxieties I ever had about Dentists have disappeared since being under his care. My visit today with Oral Health Therapist Lavina made me laugh and smile a lot as well, I feel like I have sparkly teeth and a bit more of a sparkle in my heart after meeting her! Thanks team. Yous are the bomb.

Fantastic experience: So many people seem to dislike the dentist, but you won't after you've been here. They are so professional and friendly that it feels more like I'm going to a friends place than an actual checkup. I have great chats with Kim and she always points me in the right direction to improve my oral hyenine. Not just "you need to brush more" but specifics on what I personally need to do to better suit me. I also thoroughly enjoy speaking with the reception team and recently met the new addition who was a laugh and a half straight off the bat. Can't recommend this place harder!!

Fantastic experience: Just had an excellent experience having some childhood amalgam fillings removed from a molar and replaced with a non-amalgam coating. I was dreading it because I remember how painful it was having the fillings put in (they didn’t use anaesthetic at school at that point), but this experience was the complete opposite. Really caring, expert care, and all the numbing gel and anaesthetic needed to make it a genuinely painless experience. The ambience at the practice is also great, really friendly and relaxing. I wouldn’t have thought I would ever be so relaxed at the dentist I could fall asleep in the chair, but I just about could here. Thanks so much, Zaid, Raquel, and everyone. It’s much appreciated.

I'm the type of person who has very SEVERE dental anxiety, and they were so empathetic and reassuring. Both Raquel and Julia were very knowledgeable and walked me through everything that they had to do. If you need something done, you're in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: Raquel is an outstanding dentist. She is professional, experienced, warm and runs a great business. I can't recommend her and Dunedin Dental highly enough. I first met Raquel at 'Gentle Dental' about 10 years ago, and followed her as a client to her new business. Many friends now have Raquel as their dentist and my 13 year old son had to have a tooth pulled during lockdown Alert Level 4, and Raquel is now Harry's dentist too.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at this dentist. Raquel is the most gentle and experienced dentist I've ever seen in my life. As someone who is deaf, one of the most important things to me is that I don't miss what's going on and Raquel really makes sure that I understand.
