Fantastic experience: Dr Luke helped me out of a difficult spot which arose because of a troublesome couple of teeth that needed urgent extraction. I was confident that he could provide a good outcome because of past experience with an implant. Luke was his usual professional and considerate self. I feel much indebted and would certainly recommend him and his practice to anyone seeking first class dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Saskia for a broken front tooth. She was so gentle, I didn’t even feel the injection. My tooth now looks back to normal, you wouldn’t even know it had been broken. I’m very grateful for Saskia’s time and care and would recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I was pushed in to doing work that I didn't want to do and my teeth are worse now than before he worked on them. I need to get further work done as a result and I won't be going back there.

Fantastic experience: Dr Soni - highly recommend. She managed my "anxiety" of dentists and provided a calm and professional environment over the years I have visited this clinic. She is amazing and has so much patience with whoever she meets! She is the reason I visit this clinic. The hygienists over the years have been amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular at this clinic for few years now, and my last visit a few weeks ago was especially great because I could visually see the improvement in the health of my teeth. The use of digital tech was impressive since the dentist on site, Dr Sony showed and explained to me the Xrays from two years ago and now to show the difference. Her assistant did a good job too. I find them a professional team and I would keep going back to them for good quality service.

Negative experience: Don’t go there, if you do care your health and feeling! It was a great place to go with awesome dentist, recent two years it’s changed. Had a $1000 dollar session with a dentist called Sonny and a Chinese male nurse, extremely depressed and uncomfortable! Three shots of anaesthetic could not work at all but my mouth was swollen for 5days after that! During the session they even laughed at me when they saw I was uncomfortable about the sensitive nerve. The session went badly! I felt 10 times worth than before having this session. More tragic, I was told needed a root canal after the session that had never been mentioned before in the consultation. I was truly hurt and disappointed to write a letter to the centre about this , I had not received any positive suggestions or discussions of remuneration. All I received was how they tried to get rid of the responsibility and tons of excuses of doing this such an unprofessional practice! Therefore, I decided to put this out to public. Hope people will be aware in the future.

I think between us we have seen all dentists and although it's a horrible task to go through they always make it a safe environment with respect and dignity to make sure you are at your upmost comfort! We would highly recommend them for family dentists.

The assistants and receptionists are friendly and helpful. I moved away from the immediate area, but would not consider changing dentists. It's worth the travel.

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with Titirangi Dental. A couple of years ago I changed from a dentist in town I have been to for decades because his practice got taken over by when he retired. Dr Luke at Titirangi dentist is a wonderful find. Very very happy with his work and recommendations. Plus he doesn’t try to sell me extra stuff… like Lumio was doing. And my hygienist Glodie Biladi is fabulous and thorough with such a sunny personality that almost makes having my teeth cleaned fun.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Titirangi dental is always impressive. Even late on a Friday afternoons their professionalism is on top form. I get treated as an important person of significance. They value each individual with such friendly approach which had me relax more. No tricks or upselling just honest focus on what needs attention and a good sense of being taken care of when leaving. Their fabulous reputation most certainly stands on strong foundations thats for sure. I personally wouldnt want to go anywhere else their team from reception to surgeon is too good. Fantastic experience: I first went to Titirangi dental in Feb 2022 with a terrible tooth ache. Luke and the team not only helped me get that tooth back to good health but have worked closely with me on gum issues since. I like that Luke talks me through each step before, during and after which helps me stay informed. I also appreciate the they provide options for treatment. I avoided dentists for my whole adult life to my own detriment. Each time I went in, it left me not feeling the best and they didn’t take a holistic approach but that has changed now.

Negative experience: I had a hygiene appointment at Titirangi Dental Centre. As a five-year loyal patient, I walked in with confidence, and walked out with a shock! During the hygiene clean I had an accident, and the hygienist made a hole on my front tooth. Without telling the patient, I only discovered it after I got home. After that I reached out to my dentist L.... They first refused to pay for the filling, then offered expensive mouth guard to cover the filling cost. I requested my x-rays (already paid) and history to seek a second opinion, they ignored me for ages and put through a different name through my insurance to claim hygiene service. I will never recommend this place to any one, as in fact, it will aways scary me getting my teeth cleaned for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: Maureen Greenhow here. This is a lovely welcoming place to visit. April, the receptionist is perfect. Friendly and warm. I instantly feel less anxious around her. Sony is my dentist. She is warm and friendly too. Sony is very professional, my mouth has never felt better. Soummya is Sony's assistant. She is perfect too. Glodie my hygienist warm and very caring. Samir friendly and professional. I met Sid too. He is the practice manager. Friendly and with a sense of humour. Easy to be around. Titirangi Dental needs to be everyone's first choice!

Fantastic experience: Easily the best dentistry in west auckland. Highly recommended dentist's and hygienist's. Price isn't the cheapest, however the service and professionalism for their patients is second to none.

Negative experience: I was billed $440 that I already paid 13 months ago. The receptionist over the phone was very adamant that I hadn't paid and that I was in the wrong, after telling them I think that there's a mistake. She defended on the fact that they were very particular and careful when it came to billing. When I asked why they are now charging me 13 months after the appointment, they said that they had no general practitioner running the place for the last year and were trying to balance the books. When I found the proof in my bank statements that I had indeed paid, I sent them an email and.... THEY DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE. Professionalism. This place has gone downhill since Jason Ng left.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Titirangi Dental. Luke Simpson in particular has been my dentist over the last 5 years, during which time I have needed a number of complex procedures. His professional and friendly approach has always made me feel confident and relaxed when visiting.

Negative experience: I'm a student who was assigned a last minute shift at work when someone couldn't make it, and I had to cancel my appointment. They charged me $73 as a cancellation fee. Update - they just called me and told me they'd be willing to waive the fee IF I removed the review. Unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: I can't praise this team enough. I am terrified to go to a dentist and knowing I had to have one of my maulers removed is my worst nightmare. Luke and the team made me feel at ease from the get go. Once in the chair Luke was so gentle and competent I didn't even feel the needle go in. After numbing took effect it was a matter of maybe two minutes and it was out and done with no pain at all. Even afterwards. I was so grateful to Luke and the team. So professional, warm and welcoming. if anyone was to have a fear of a Dentist, go see Luke and you'd have one less fear. For the first time, I don't worry about seeing a dentist anymore. Thanks a million Guys and Girls.

Negative experience: I first brought my sister in nearly 2 months ago to get some new retainers made. She had the moulds done and then a week later, we picked them up (in a plastic bag - a case wasn't even provided despite the retainers costing $400). Unfortunately, the bottom ones didn't fit. We then had to go back. The dentist and her assistants tried to use hot water to remould them. They still didn't fit. They then took moulds again. They weren't happy with them, and so they took them again. We were then told they would be ready for pick up first thing the week after. By the end of that next week, I still hadn't heard from them, and so I called them. I was told that the staff member responsible for making the retainers had COVID (which is absolutely fine - but it wasn't communicated). Miraculously, a couple of hours later, we received another call saying they wanted us to come back in as the moulds they took weren't right. More time off work for me, and more time off school for my sister. We went back, and had moulds taken again (for the fourth time). At this point I requested a discount, which was granted - but with no apology or acknowledgement of how awful the experience had been. The next week we picked up the new retainer (again, in a plastic bag). Not only did they not fit, but they were even a worse fit than the first ones. At this point, we had invested so much time, energy, and petrol into the whole ordeal that I called and asked for a full refund. Later that week, it was granted - but still with no apology or acknowledgement. I called to speak to the clinic manager personally and explained the situation - to which he defended himself, overtly invalidated our experience, and claimed ignorance. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend TDC enough! Had to get all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr Luke, and I was so nervous… but the procedure was over in the blink of an eye to me, I had no embarrassing moments coming off of the medication (just very sleepy!), the swelling went down within a day, range of motion followed soon after, and pain was nothing a little ibuprofen couldn’t fix! So grateful to Dr Luke and the team, I can’t believe how good my wisdom tooth extraction was compared to all the horror stories out there!

Fantastic experience: I won't go anywhere else. I love this dental clinic (who says that about going to the dentist??). Dr Elvira is the most down to earth dentist I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I just want her to keep fixing any issues with my teeth because I can't fathom the thought of going to another dentist (no exaggeration). The care and time she puts into making me feel comfortable is really appreciated and from other reviews I can see there are many other happy clients. She fixed a front tooth of mine (amongst other work done caused by excessive grinding) and made it look amazing, so much so that I can't stop smiling now. Just a real confidence-boosting investment one can make for themselves. My first phone call was handled by Dana, who is just awesome by the way - from being really hospitable to making you feel really comfortable to being great with kids! Always smiling and ready to greet you and my children adore her. I really love the decor as well, surrounded by the trees just adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The majestic lion statue is a great source of entertainment for children who are immediately (much to the parent's satisfaction) attracted to it and spend a bit of time in awe of it. This is a great distraction for children who may be afraid of dentists or who may need to attend the clinic with their parents. What an excellent initiative, it seems you have thought of everything! I can't recommend this place highly enough, but you will not be disappointed. The employees, general atmosphere, and the lion have my children asking "when can we go back and see the lion?".

Negative experience: Worst experience of my life. Zero stars. Jason Ng installed a crown that was too big, and instead of fixing or remaking the crown in a smaller size, he ground down all the surrounding teeth, which "were" all good teeth, but afterwards all needed work, and am paying thousands of dollars to get them all fixed by a good dentist. Its been a solid year of severe pain. Jason Ng deserves to be thrown in prison. I went to three other dentists to make sure the repairs were done correctly this time, and all of them concurred that he used the wrong crown. They couldn't believe the incompetence that i was subjected to.

Fantastic experience: I am willing to travel all the way from East Auckland to get the incredible service offered at Titirangi Dental Centre. It seems that Nigel treats all of his patients as friends, each session our conversation picks up from where we left it last time - too bad I am unable to talk while he does his stellar work!
