Fantastic experience: I had an extremely positive experience with my 7 year old son who was referred to Silverdale Family Dentists for a tooth extraction. The consultation was very thorough and the dentist also sort a second opinion from a college to ensure the best treatment for my son. My son was highly anxious and was fairly uncooperative so the procedure was definitely a challenge for everyone involved. The care my son received was professional, empathetic and efficient. A highly stressful time for myself and my son was made so much easier with the kindness and compassion we were shown. The dentist also checked in on us later that day and a few days later. A very thorough service. Highly recommend if you need any dental advice or care for your child.

Fantastic experience: Originally I changed from my dentist of 30 years to Silverdale Family Dentist due to their affordable checkup/hygienist deal of $100. This was a saving of approximately $200 per annum for me. I found the staff and service extremely efficient, professional and very friendly. Recently I underwent a dental implant done by Dr Abeer. He and his staff showed incredible kindness and compassion during the entire procedure that extended over several months. The result is amazing. I have recommended Silverdale Family Dentist to several friends who have also been delighted with their pricing structure and lovely staff. Thank you Dr Abeer and your wonderful staff for a great experience.

Fantastic experience: We would definitely recommend Silverdale Family Dentists. We had a great experience though my son felt very nervous. Nidhi was understanding and kind, Stacey was gentle and thoughtful, taking time to explain in detail what we needed to do. Abeer went out of his way for my son, completing his care with more speed and efficiency than we could have hoped. We were pleased with the care and will return again!

Negative experience: My 11 year old daughter had an awful experience here having 3 baby teeth removed. We paid extra for the sedation which was a complete waste of money. She obviously wasn’t numbed sufficiently and had tears streaming down her face and was crying out in pain while the dentist just continued to pull the teeth. He told me because of the sedation that she wouldn’t remember any of it but months on she still remembers every detail and bursts into tears whenever she thinks about it. I feel so guilty that I didn’t stop him. My 9 year old just had to have a tooth pulled and we had an AMAZING experience with Greville Dental (even without sedation) so I strongly recommend taking your kids there instead!!

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with this clinic! My son had an abscess and needed a tooth removed, we had been to 3 other dentists who hesitated in doing it because he has a bad gag reflex even though it needed to come out. Silverdale fit me in and did the treatment on the day, the nurse was amazing, the dentist was fantastic with him and my son had the best time. Would highly recommend, especially for children! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I transferred my dental care to this clinic as they were local to me & they was offering a hygienist treatment deal promo & check up for $100, was also recommended by family member who used them recently & suggested I go. My previous dentist (dental on the shore albany) was being taken over by lumino & there charges were increasing which was untoward so moved on. My new dentist is Hamid Z, and the nurses name who also works on reception is Isobel, after my initial cleaning & check I was informed I needed a composite filling in my canine tooth due to decay by Hamid, the hygienist was very efficient & thorough I must say also. Made booking for repair & received a quotation. Was reasonably anxious when I arrived due to not knowing how things would go today, explained this all to Hamid and he assured me I would be treated with the utmost care & consideration. My visit was a pain free & positive experience, the standard of work was very high and Isobel & Hamid are really polite and caring team, have nothing bad to say & they even kept the cost down to the minimum quote, he even smoothed out a small sharp chip in my other tooth, thumbs up guys & many thanks, looking forward to my next visit, such lovely people.

Fantastic experience: The dentists and the rest of the staffs are very competent & their services are highly commendable. Our 5 yo daughter had multiple treatments & extractions with them today via oral sedation because she went very anxious during the last visit with the previous dentist, that’s why we were referred to have her sedated. I am so happy that the dentist was able to sort everything out for our child. The dentist was very gently & kind in doing the procedure considering that the patient is a toddler, he also made sure everything he did was properly explained, he educated me every step of the way. For me, they treated us with so much care & compassion and with that, I will highly recommend the clinic for its outstanding services. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughters first time stepping foot into a dental clinic and as soon as we walked in the door we felt welcomed and at ease, from reception to getting the procedure every step was thoroughly explained and every question answered. It helped my 5 year old feel safe and myself also. She also couldn’t stop talking about how nice they were. I just want to thank the team at silverdale family dentists for everything, it really was as good of an experience as it could have been.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has had sedation several times with Abeer and his team, each time they have helped to make a traumatic experience easier, and over time this has helped my daughter overcome her intense fear of the dentist! Resulting in her being able to get a teeth clean without sedation (huge win) and today having 2 teeth removed under sedation in preparation for braces, without any fuss and anxiety and a quick recovery. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience, dentist a very professional and supportive. Just trust the dentist and process :) , stay calm for your child is my advice. Daughter (8year old) had two sedation treatments and came out saying she didn’t feel anything, she forgot what had happened during the sedation, so she had a positive experience. She is a drama queen normally so it was great to see the process go so smoothly. Definitely recommend this place they are clear on the cost and what to expect. Far for me to travel but all worth it in the end

Fantastic experience: Had my two little cute wisdom teeth removed about a month ago with Dr Daniel Sim, the removal operation was too quick and i don’t even feel the pain at all, the whole process feels like only taking about 15mins including the numbing injections etc. Also everyone there is super friendly as well. Highly recommended Silverdale family dentist.

Fantastic experience: My child had tooth removal and other treatment today. As i know this is the only one who can provide sedation service clinic under public funding in northshore. the detisit is very experienced, he provide very well service to us and very patient with my child, always encourage him during the treatment.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this dental clinic. The dentist was rude and impatient, and did not treat my child with kindness or respect. The appointment started late and the preparation time for the sedative was way too long. The dentist took on a new patient during our scheduled appointment time, which caused us to lose half of our treatment time. During the treatment, the dentist did not communicate properly and rushed through the process, starting with a less severe issue instead of the more painful one. After the treatment, the dentist repeatedly urged me to leave with my child, and his attitude was unprofessional and discourteous. As a result of this experience, my child now fears going to the dentist. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. I would rate 0 star if I can

Fantastic experience: I was terrified of dentist, neglected treatment, ended up in a nasty state. They fixed everything up. but also.... put effort into making me not afraid of the dentist. they are so nice and so professional I actually enjoy going. Every time I leave, I feel great. Life-changing.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist, saw me within 45 minutes of calling on a Saturday after a sleepless night. Transparent about what the causes could be and passed over his mobile number to let him know if the pain continues. Demi the assistant is super helpful and friendly too! Great to have a local dentist and finally move from my North Shore dentist.

Everyone who we came into contact with were so kind and lovely. I was very impressed with the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name!) starting with her phone manner when I first called, right up until my son went into the room, she was fantastic. Everyone in the room with my son while he was having the procedure done were so professional and kind and if it didn’t take us an hour to travel, I’d make this clinic our usual! Thank you everyone.

Fantastic experience: Silverdale Family Dentists is the most satisfying place to go if you ever need a dentist to help you with anything. I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist and each experience I have had with different ones has only heightened my anxiety, however since coming here they have made my experience comforting and tolerable. The staff are so friendly, they listen to your needs and your fears and make sure you are comfortable in every which way! I'm so thankful I found a practice that I will stick with going forward.

Fantastic experience: Went today for an emergency extraction for my young daughter and I am so impressed by the service. The receptionist was lovely, greeted my daughter by name and was so helpful after the procedure while my daughter was still very out of it from the medication, even went so far as to help us carry things back to the car as we left.

Fantastic experience: After many years of going to the same dentist in the city, and after a recommendation, my husband and I changed to Abeer, and we are both really pleased we did. We have found Abeer to be really professional but with a warmth that puts you at ease - even his room is painted yellow and lovely and bright. X-rays are taken and any work needed is explained in detail with a follow up email including the x-ray pictures, a diagram showing which teeth need treatment and an estimate of the costs to complete the work. At no time is there any pressure to have work done on your teeth if you don't wish to proceed at that time. The staff too are welcoming and very professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abeer to anyone.

We had such an amazing experience my son was treated with so much dignity and respect. Before my son new it his tooth was pulled and everything was over with out any tears! Negative experience: At that point the dentist took his fist and punched my 4 year old in the head. I knew I made a bad mistake going here.   actually i should have seen the warning signs  - when the nurse handed my 4 year old the painkiller and he spit it out.  and she said to me make sure he drinks the rest,  I didn't even know how much he had as i never saw what was in the cup, why hand a 4 year old it - why would you not give it to the parent? and look to see if he had enough?  or then when the new nurse asked for my son to go to the operations table and he fell over and head butted the display cabinet - they then said - oh you have to carry him, thanks for telling us after he fell over.   so my 4 year old bit the dentist finger as he was in blinding pain -  why hit a 4 year old?  - why not check if your patient he had had enough pain killers before you beat them in the head?    good luck to you if you go hear.

Fantastic experience: Great service, I didn't feel any pain when I had root canal done, and the staff were very friendly, Im now a regular visitor and they schedule all my hygienist Visits.

Negative experience: Good service but the price they initially said wasn't the price I ended up paying. They told me the treatment was 650. I ended up paying nearly 1000, 700 for the treatment (50 more) and about 300 for the x-ray shots which I was not told about. I don't even know what that extra 50 dollars treatment was for. As I tried raising it up there was a bit of sense of tension forming which I ended up paying nearly 1000 and walked out of the dentist, told myself I would never go back there. *** I have received a follow up call from a practice manager who have communicated with me explaining why the payment was nearly $1000. She has apologized for the inconvenience and she said they would follow up with the patients with additional cost of the treatment. The main issue was they said treatment price was $650.00 and no additional cost of treatment was mentioned. As the manager has advised, this would not happen-
