Fantastic experience: very friendly and professional staff

Fantastic experience: All the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. I was traveling through Auckland and an impromptu visit to a nearby dentist was much needed. The Glendowie Dental Centre was nearby. I needed four procedures and Gin managed to combine them all into three visits in the same week. Very impressed as I was leaving Auckland at the end of the week. So three years of necessary hygiene and fillings were recovered in three days. I feel more confident and up to date with my dental needs. Thank you Team!

Fantastic experience: 2 of my teenagers see Gin Wong. Currently one teenager is doing invisalign. Gin is truly fantastic. He carefully explained the procedure, had a great little video showing where we are now and what the teeth will look like in about 18 months from now. He was very clear about the costs involved. A well oiled machine. He has the loveliest staff and reception staff. They make my son feel so warm and welcomed with every visit. Highly recommend Gin Wong. Look at all his fantastic reviews!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience at this dental practice with Dr Gin Wong. Went back twice to try get a resolution and instead was met with sarcasm and a rude attitude. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: The staff in Glendowie Dental Centre was great. Very welcoming and friendly. Dr Gin as my dentist was very nice and informative. He did my wisdom teeth extraction, and I call him because he made me feel right at home as if I was a friend. He provided excellent service and I will be coming here for all my future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Glendowie Dental enough. I had a huge amount of pain with one of my back molars. Dr Gin was very informative and empathetic and let me know the best way to go about my issue. An extraction was necessary and I was quite nervous. Gin made me feel very relaxed and reassured me throughout how everything was going. I felt ZERO pain and did not need any form of sedation. The healing process has been great and Gin regularly checked in on me to see how I was doing. He's also done some great crown work for me prior to this. Excellent service and a kind, friendly team!

Fantastic experience: Glendowie Dental centre is great and Gin is a fabulous dentist. I used to hate going to the dentist until I went to Gin. He explains everything he is going to do and it never hurts. I now travel from the Bay of Islands for my appointmets because I don't want to change my dentist. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Gin has been our family dentist for 10+ years and is absolutely amazing at what he does! I live in Queenstown now but will always travel back to get anything done at his practice as I have never found anyone as precise as Gin. Gin is extremely friendly, professional and gentle. I still have the same veneers Gin did for me years ago and still get asked during check ups by other dentists who did them as they always think they're my real teeth! Fantastic experience: As an engineer I like my dentist to have a solid engineering approach to looking after my teeth. Gin is very good at that, yet combines it with a soft touch and gentle patient care. After years of going to the practice I ended up moving my whole family there (much to their subsequent delight). A number of colleagues at work travel from the other side of Auckland for the privilege of an appointment at Glendowie Dental. Gin is always focused on preserving the teeth, spots early signs of trouble with remarkable skill, and - last but not least - consistently tries to reduce the financial cost of the treatment the best he can. One also should not forget the hygienist Mehwish - an exceptional level of service. She somehow manages to make my child look forward (!) to an appointment. Six stars out of five to the whole team.

Negative experience: Horrible service. Dentist never available. Appointments are weeks and weeks out. Whoever answers the phone needs training or or perhaps another career would be better suited. So many other good dentists in the area

Fantastic experience: My teeth had always been a tad crooked and that made it difficult for me to feel confident about my smile and how I conducted myself around others. As a result of this, I underwent the process of fast braces which impacted positively on my smile, confidence and appearance, in which it only took around 9 months for my teeth to become straight and aligned. I would highly recommend Dr Gin for teeth alignment as it has thoroughly helped me in such a short period of time.

Negative experience: The people here are so unbelievably rude, the receptionist especially im in shock. I can't believe this practice is so unreliable and untruthful to their customers. People should be weary if you going to use them, wouldn't recommend at all. Very unprofessional.....
