Fantastic experience: Thank you very much to Dr Izzy & her team for making my visit(2 appointments)to get a root canal procedure done at their clinic go so smoothly. This experience I think have more or less made me less afraid or less stressed if I had to visit the dentist again lol lol

Negative experience: These people are crooks trying to charge you 3 times the normal price for an awful service. The receptionist has no common courtesy and was awful and rude to deal with I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic experience: Absolutely gorgeous, patient and non-judgemental staff. Going to the dentist had me in my anxiety boots but these guys made me feel so at home and comfortable. Very hygienic and clean practise too. Highly recommend and will be back regularly.

Negative experience: Forgot one cavity and my teeth still had problems the week after

Negative experience: they are so bad , I took my sister for a free check up all they did was tell her she had 2 cavity’s that were deep and they didn’t fill them in or reschedule her HORRIBLE WOULDN’T RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: Very nice dentist - Dr Izzy. She really cares about your problem and tries her best to find out the issue in order to fix your teeth problem.

Negative experience: I'm sure experiences vary. Here's mine: went in to get a check and I was quoted $2080 for a root canal treatment. She didn't do any scan and just looked at my teeth for max 2min (i kid you not). Then I went elsewhere for a second opinion (if I was gonna spend that sort of money) and the dentist assured me I just needed a proper filling which including consultation costed $419. This consultation was with a proper xray scan + recommendations and advise. And they did another type of scan as well to get a better look at the molar. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. Also, remember to always get that second opinion!

Fantastic experience: Went in for an annual free checkup last week and xrays, upon xray results needed a filling, got the quotation done within minutes with the DA, sorted the payment and rebooked promptly for this week. Went in toda, the dentist lady made me feel at ease, was very gentle with the numbing needle and the procedure made sure my bite was all correct before leaving, clean professional denistry, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Izzy Lim and her team are top shelf. Very professional , very caring and very friendly, these are but a few of their attributes. Through life I have been lucky enough to discover , a great mechanic, lawyer, accountant, and G.P. All of whome I have been using for years. Dr. Lim now becomes my “ go to “ Dentist. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend seeing Dr Izzy. I have never liked going to the dentist due to previous experiences at school making me feel like I had bad teeth and always left feeling horrible. I can't thank Dr Izzy and her assistant enough for making me feel at ease, keeping me informed during the entire process (2x tooth extractions). Fantastic experience: Want to say big thank you to doctor Izzy who did the wisdom teeth extraction for me yesterday. It’s three wisdom teeth and was not a small one. I was prepared with 1-1.5 hours on the dental chairs but Izzy did a beautiful operation on me and the who extraction part were less than ten mins. (After the anaesthesia process)I was so impressed ! And the recovery was so fast as the wound were small. All three big teeth out with beautiful complete roots. (Only one had a small crack on the tip and Izzy managed to get that bit out completely with a thorough check) . I didn’t have much swollen or pain on second day due to her great skills. I will recommend her to whoever needs wisdom teeth extraction. Amazing !

Negative experience: Sommerville smile dental is totally a "rip off". I had my tooth and gum hurt and went to see their dentist. They asked me to have teeth wash to solve the problem which is a joke. They charged me $130 to wash just "1" tooth and $500 to wash full mouth. I still have my up tooth v hurt after two weeks after washed my tooth. They even introduced me to have $500 to wash full mouth tooth to solve the problem!!! Really??? You really think all customers can be fooled??? I do not even want to give "a" star if there is the function.

Fantastic experience: The service is really good. Because my husband’s teeth need to claim insurance，after the treatment must complete the application form. Our insurance company they have not done before, Dr. Izzy was very careful to check all the detail. Such as a responsible doctor must give 5 star.

Negative experience: I experienced a treatment injury and I got the typical Kiwi attitude from Izzy that she is not responsible. She seemed insulted when I asked her to fill out an ACC form so I could get cover. Later I found out she never referred me to a specialist after the accident happened which caused me probs for 5 to 6 months- this is too long. There seems to be a lot of denial in the NZ medical field when things go wrong and I do not like this as people should help and be responsible if they hurt someone. I think she means well but she has not been in practice very long and I feel she sometimes is a bit head strong. Humility is important to help dentists become better in their field but if they think they know everything than they are always right no matter what. I found a dental surgeon who is very experienced and more careful and knowledgeable about my issue. Also they were able to make suggestions on some of the work Izzy did where my gum keeps trapping food and getting infected. Izzy was not able to give the right suggestion other than floss which kept breaking off and causing an infection.

Fantastic experience: Dr Izzy Lim is very professional and the staffs there are very friendly. Used to be a guy who is afraid of going to dental but now will go regularly to keep my teeth in good shape :).
