Fantastic experience: My dentist Namrita and her assistant Carly, are highly competent and empathic. I was a very nervous patient and they were incredibly kind which helped ease my nerves, they had different tools to help create a more relaxing environment and checked on my regularly.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this practise enough. The entire team are fantastic, but in particular, I'm so appreciative of Alex. I have recently completed a years worth of major tooth restorations , and can not fault the patient care, expertise, and follow up. Any concerns I may have had, have all been addressed and I will continue to be a patient here for the years to come. Thankyou , Katie.

Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend Alex Santos (and his assistant) at Dental Associates Papamoa. They were very professional and spent time showing and explaining what was wrong with broken tooth (Molar) and what he would be doing to reconstruct it. The is the first dentist to take the time to explain this so I know what to expect and what all the noise would be. I found this visit to be a relaxing experience and at no point did I feel any fear that I would accidentally be injured. Well done Alex Santos and Team. You have earned my respect.

Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend Dental Associates Papamoa. Our entire family is under care here, and our youngest son recently had his first consulation with Namrita and Ayumi. Our son was immediately at ease with Ayumi's friendly manner and consistent with our previous experiences, Namrita was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered, and even took extra time to discuss my dental care during his appointment. The treatment we have each received has been comfortable and effective. The rest of the team here are equally friendly and ready to help. We are so grateful to have found such a great dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Alex is very professional and spent time showing and explaining what was wrong with my teeth..First Dentist to take the time to explain and advise me how to correctly look after my teeth...very gentle .showed x Ray's of all my teeth...Also had the state of the Art equipment...which was amazing.Thanks Alex for being very caring..I have had very bad experience with a couple other dentists which left me frightened going to a dentist. Clinic very high standard with cleanness.

Positive experience: I'm extremely happy with Ayumi and her assistant wiho did my tooth extraction today. Ayumi made me feel at ease, was very clear before during and after the process and talked me through it. Having walked out of a another dentist a couple of weeks ago for having a bad gut feeling, I'm glad I made the switch and I would highly recommend Dental Associates!

Fantastic experience: The whole team at Dental Associates Papamoa makes me feel so welcome! Never have I had a comfortable experience when it comes to my teeth as I do with Iulia and Ayumi looking after me, they are absolutely outstanding and very helpful! Exhalent price too I didn't expect such a low price for a wisdom tooth.

Fantastic experience: Dealing with Dental Associates Papamoa was the best dental experience I have had in my life. They accepted me as their patient even though it was on short notice and during holiday times. The doctor that took care of my tooth extraction was Dr. Iulia Stănescu. Her high level of professionalism was only matched by the warmth and kindness a person needs when he or she has to sit on the dentist's chair in pain and worrying about what is about to happen. With her calm and knowledgeable voice, she helped me through a painless dental procedure. Thank you Dental Associates for your support at this time of great need and thank you Dr. Stănescu for helping me change my unpleasant old opinion about dental procedures. Kind regards Claudiu

Fantastic experience: Cannot express my satisfaction for this dental practice enough! From the reception staff right through to dentists, dental nurses and even and a courtesy call after a tooth extraction the following day. Everything was amazing, and they are all so welcoming and made me feel at ease. Cannot thank Sid Garde enough for his prompt, yet gentle treatment.

Negative experience: Absolutely rip off....you go for one thing they make you do x rays and make up lots of treatments you don't need are actually harmful as had second and 3rd opinions that say so... also eldery people getting charged $180 for a clean is outrageous ...small town this kind of treatment won't last long

Negative experience: The dental nurse made me feel quite uncomfortable, she wasn't smiley nor friendly and told me that I had either two options to repair my tooth ache - a root canal or extraction of the tooth. She advised me that the root canal was likely not a long term option and would not be a successful procedure, so an extraction of tooth was the most logical option. She quoted me $1800 for the root canal in a 3 step procedure. Or $500 for a removal of tooth. I seeked a second opinion from another dental clinic in the area, they quoted me $1200 for the treatment and it will only be two steps. I've had others agree that I was well overcharged. Also the root canal is a possible option unlike she told me it would probably just have to be removed. I don't recommend this clinic as they will rip you off and give you false information.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentists, each with their own speciality. The only practice I could find in the Bay who treat sleep apnoea with custom oral appliances. And one of the few who don't default to the most expensive option for saving or replacing a tooth.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, I recommend Sid Garde dentist, the attention was incredible! I have been to different dentists in New Zealand and this clinic and dentist are the best, dental health is very important that's why I recommend it. My english is not good and the dentist was very kind and took the time to explain everything to me. In addition, the technology they have in the clinic is very good. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Really capable and friendly team here. The dental hygiene clean was the most thorough clean I've ever had (I couldn't stop looking at my teeth!) and the dentist was really thorough and gave me great advice on how to keep my teeth healthy for many years to come. Special thanks to the friendly & helpful ladies at reception too. Highly recommend the team at Dental Associates.

Fantastic experience: I have spent a good portion of my life avoiding going to the dentist. Since going to Dental Associates Papamoa, my whole perspective has changed thanks to Namrita and the team. Namrita is so passionate about teeth, it is inspiring. Over the last 2 years, they have corrected my overbite and straightened my teeth. Fantastic experience: Wow, the best experience I could hope for, given I needed my first tooth extraction. The tooth root was full of pus, the pressure pain was unbearable and I was miserable. The team were professional, kind, empathetic and even snuck me in for extraction sooner than planned. Though I'm missing a tooth, at least I can sleep and eat normally again, and I can put away the pilers I was seriously considering. Recommended if you need a professional team that care.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT! From th reception ladie to the Doctor and the price, I had a toothache and went for an emergency consultation. Next day I was getting my wisdom tooth out (could've done it the same day but I had to go back to work). It took only 15 MIn. Dr Lulia Stanescu was amazng and also her assistant. I'm 6 month pregnant and they where super kind and explained everything that was happening. No pain during the extraction and no pain later.. MAGIC HAND! I got a call from the reception ladie 2 days later to see how everything was going and If I needed anything. LOVED IT!!! Would recommend anyone thats needs to check their teeth to go with this guys. ( and I'm not a fan of dentists.. just saying) :) :) :)

Negative experience: I had some fillings done here by Alex Santos 3 years ago. I have just had one of the teeth extracted and another one needed a root canal, because of decay left under the fillings. I was informed after the fillings were done that the filling material used was only semipermanent, I was not consulted about this beforehand, only told this after the fillings were done. I was then told they should last at least 3 years, which they did not.

Negative experience: Sadly a poor experience .... was booked at 12 for a procedure . Was asked to come in 15 minutes prior for an X-ray . After X-ray and some superfluous tapping on my teeth I was told they couldn’t do any work today and I needed to rebook . Time was 1203.... Completely dissatisfied and disappointed.... Money was refunded but the damage was done ...... Will never return .... Suggest Smileworks for awesome professionalism and real care starting from the time you ring them

Fantastic experience: I am the biggest wuss when it comes to my teeth, and Namrita is like an angel who made the entire experience comfortable and painless. I was also lucky enough to have Kerry there making me feel comfortable and supported. The entire team is amazing and so welcoming. They are the best, and will never go to another dentist again!

Fantastic experience: I can't praise Dental Associates Papamoa enough. I have been fortunate in having Alex and his assistant Yvonne attend to my dental needs. Alex is very caring and explains everything that he needs to do and puts you at ease. The follow up call the next day to see you are pain free is so appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Alex, ably assisted by Yvonne, for my recent root canal treatment. I had two teeth done over a number of weeks and I was very impressed with Alex’s technical expertise. The whole process was eased by the friendly, relaxed attitude of the team. I also appreciated the follow up phonecalls the day following each procedure to check how I was feeling - a nice touch!

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth abscess develop quickly so called Dental Associates for urgent treatment. Alex did quick consult which included all alternatives and placed me on antibiotics before any tooth extraction could proceed. A week later I arrived for the extraction and was very impressed with all staff members. So friendly and caring. Alex was unsuccessful with extraction due to the intense pain of the abscess reforming and me not coping with this pain. Another week of antibiotics and this time all done. I had a total of about 6 injections to which I did not feel any which is a first from any Dentist. Cannot recommend Alex highly enough for his awesome manner, professionalism and of course very reasonable cost.

Fantastic experience: There totally needs to be more than 5 stars.. Absolutely highly recommend them to everyone I know.. I had a huge dental phobia but Alex and Yvonne made me so comfortable there.. they saved my teeth sorted me braces and things have been looking up since.. I look forward to me check ups every couple of weeks. I'll forever be so grateful to you both.

Fantastic experience: Late last year a front lower tooth was giving me pain and I could see I was going to have to visit a dentist . Something I dread because of COST . Being new to Tauranga, I by ended up in the care (or chair) of Dr Alex Santos of Dental Associates Papamoa. He confirmed I needed a refurbish of an old long forgotten root canal and it was going to cost me about a grand. So all my fears were realised, but as the treatment progressed, (and I counted the $$$) I started to appreciate the care and professionalism he was taking. Alex has a fancy camera /screen gadget which allows the patient to see exactly what is happening in their mouth, and to appreciate just how exacting and precise their/his work is. When I went back for a 6 free monthly check recently Alex was actually interested in my questions . He (and his nurse) are excellent and I would not go anywhere else
