Fantastic experience: Dr Isha was amazing. She got my wisdom tooth out like it was nothing! I didn’t feel a thing. She’s the best dentist ever, highly recommend. The whole team was amazing and so kind. Golden apple is the best!

Fantastic experience: Just been there to have my first consultation with their dentist. Xrays done, Dr.Cassim and his assistant were very pleasant and nice too. He explained how my teeth are and what needs to be done. Had a tooth filling the same day as it was needed and showed me why it is needed before doing anything. (Unlike other clinics where you will be surprised to pay more than you were to.) Their receptionist, i forgot her name, was also very polite when we were talking and patient with me when I forgot my card pin when I tried paying (luckily I remembered my pin the second time with the same card). Will be coming back to them again to have my teeth cleaned and polished. Price is okay and not too expensive. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new client here and let me tell you this is the best dental practice that I've ever been to! From the lovely/welcoming receptionist Lou, to the amazing hygienist Sim & the outstanding dentist Taz and her awesome assistant Sherine - I am so grateful for them all! What a beautiful team! A special shout out to Taz the dentist- I had 1 extraction and 3 fillings done by her and she is the bomb! Very knowledgeable and incredible at what she does. Love her vibes/personality too and how straight up & funny she is. I won't be going anywhere else! Thankyou for everything team. ❤️

Negative experience: I went in a few months ago with a chipped tooth which was notified about prior, when I got there they identified the tooth, did and Xray, and didn’t do anything about it. Ended up charging me $90 just for that… didn’t tell me whether I was getting a second appointment to fix said tooth either. First time experience with them, won’t be going back unfortunately

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Jack and Tamara-lee! The best ever dentist and dental assistant you can ever ask for. I have always been afraid of the dentist and have never been able to go back since i was 18 (pass trauma. I am now 42 and Tamara-lee and Jack were so helpful and so lovely! I feel safe and happy for them to do work in my mouth. I rate Golden apple, Tamara-lee and Jack 100%. #Goldenapplenapier.

Fantastic experience: After breaking my tooth I was not able to get an appointment in my hometown of Gisborne for months. Golden Apple was able to fit me in within a couple.of days. They were quick to assess what was needed, explained the process & cost & I was in & out within half an hour. Quick, painless with excellent results that didn't cost me an arm & leg. Very appreciative

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience here today, despite I was scared what's gonna happen with my broken crown in a foreign country... Fantastic experience: Needed an extraction after having one of my teeth break, they were able to schedule me in within 2 hours of my phone call (awesome and quick!). All the staff I encountered were super friendly, I wasn't nervous for very long after having a laugh. Doctor Chaudhry was amazing, I had a pain free extraction that didn't take long at all. I will definitely be going back to sort out the rest of my dental needs, I'm no longer feeling panicked about it after having such a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have a root canal treatment for a tooth that had been bothering me for a while. Dr Tazeem explained the treatment plan and gave me access to all my options breaking down price etc. It was a long procedure but Dr Tazeem made sure it was pain-free and we took breaks whenever I needed. I came back for the crown fitting and everything went smoothly. I get really anxious visiting dentists but my experience with Dr Tazeem and Sherine completely changed that, I'll definitely be a regular patient here for a while.

Fantastic experience: Visited this practice whilst in NZ and was not disappointed. The dentist Tazeem was also from the UK so we had a great conversation whilst she and Sherine (who was also lovely!) helped me out. It's not often you go to a dental practice and can say you had a laugh(!). Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, (or even those just passing through like me).

Negative experience: Had an emergency appointment for for a tooth removal and I received was piss poor treatment that cost an arm and a leg. Still didn't take my tooth out, ended up going somewhere else for a better service

Fantastic experience: My 12-year old daughter had her root canal treatment done at Golden Apple-Hastings. My heart’s full because aside from the fact that it’s FREE, my daughter said that the two sessions were painless, stress-free, and pleasant. Thanks heaps to DR.POP and his assistant, JADEN, for providing my daughter with such exceptional care. ☺️ Thanks to the receptionists, too. They’re lovely and warm. The entire team is an example of how true professionals perform. Kudos!

Positive experience: Well done to Isha who did a difficult extraction well and kept to her honour over the price and then helped a few days later when I was still experiencing pain to help clear that up immediately with no hassles. One or two little things maybe were that the assistant was lovely and positive but she needed key tools and materials right by her side not a few minutes down the corridor on about 3 or 4 different occasions in one extraction session. Really lovely people doing their best with plenty of modern equipment and I wish them well amd recommend them to others. Difficult to get hold of by phone but keep persevering!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Golden Apple Dental last week - they were fantastic. Anyone worried about dental procedures can rest assured you are in good hands . They were experts at pain relief and the technology is "state of the art". I had great service, from a great team, with a great result and not to heavy on the pocket either. Not sure if they are taking new customers ,but i highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I started my journey with Isha and team at Golden Apple last year, I say a journey as this is what it has been for me. Unfortunately due to a health condition my teeth had deteriorated quite a lot in the last few years and after a recommendation from a friend I took the plunge and called Golden Apple to make an appointment. I didn’t have to wait long for an appointment which was a positive as it gave me no time to back out. I meet with Isha and explained I have high anxiety about dentists due to a horrible experience with another dentist. Isha was empathetic and reassuring however unfortunately the news about my teeth was as I dreaded they needed to come out … deep breaths needed! We discussed the plan and agreed to take the teeth out in two lots and I would definitely need to be sedated. The day arrives and im having a nervous breakdown, Isha and her team were amazing they kept me calm and Isha has a great sense of humour so that helps! It’s a miracle they managed to get a line in as I have shocking veins but she did it, Success half the teeth out and we wait a few weeks to get the next lot out but alas to no avail they couldn’t get a line in so I go back the following week and fork and spoon (that’s the polite version of the f word) they couldn’t get a line in again so unfortunately Isha had no choice but to refer me to the hospital which to this day months later I still haven’t heard from. In December my anxiety about the way I looked with my teeth was at a high so I decided to call Isha and ask can we just try once more please, the answer was yes .. yay now I just needed my body to behave! This week was my appointment, the team welcomed me back like a long lost friend and in we went. They tried to get a line in however my vein’s refused to cooperate I was started to feel sick and thought well it is what it is but no Isha went out to the health centre and brought in this fantastic man, my hero and he managed to get in line hallelujah and that’s all I remembered from that part obviously the sedation worked I had my follow up today and all is going according to plan YAY! Now I could have just written a review saying great dentist but these people are amazing they ooze empathy and treat you like an intelligent person I can’t recommend them enough they all deserve a medal! Fork & spoon I haven’t written a novel like this in years. Thank Golden Apple

They were so calming for her and spoke to her so she understood. recommended another specialist in Wellington which was also amazing, follow up appt today and again amazing service with a beautiful smile. we need more businesses like these!! thank you again

Negative experience: Would give this place no stars if I could. Poor communication, factory dentistry at it's worst.Try and book via answer service, what a joke. Travelled 50 minutes for appointment and the lady tells me my teeth are terrible! Like I know that, that's why I'm at the dentist....don't need to be told. Have gone elsewhere not wasting money here, not recomended

Negative experience: Save your money to somewhere else. Not here!!! The dentist never explained to me what's going on with my tooth, she just said i need a major operation. Not even asking how long the pain i have been feeling with my tooth, how extreme the pain is, etc. And had me on xray even i already had one with them 10 months ago. Only questions involved are 1. what is my work and 2. my husband's work. The next thing we know, she is charging us $2,500 and scheduled me the next day first thing in the morning without leaving me a choice! We just been there less than 10 min. Very dissapointing!

Fantastic experience: My friend had an absess and a broken tooth needing removed immediately. Their friendly team were able to book us in within the hour and my friend was looked after very well. They even let me come in for moral support during the painful parts. Highly recommend this great team. Thanks for your fast actions.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Awesome Awesome. I had an abscess and literally phoned/email every dentist. I told them I am in pain, But was told they are booked months in advance.. Golden Apple rang me back (Annalysa) I told her and she she they are bookd but will get me on antibiotics and ring me Monday. I was happy just to get the antibiotics. I popped in and the dentist saw my face and said I need to get an xray, she squeezed me in and extracted the tooth. I do not like going to the dentist (hence the fact that I had the abscess ) I was literally shaking. Long story short, she extracted the tooth and the pain is gone. If I could give them 10 I would.

Fantastic experience: Amazing. Best dentist I have had in my life. Great communication, perfect service, great team of people. Isha is incredibly knowledgeable and great at giving choices and making you feel at ease. She explains everything and I trust her 100%. (Over the past 2 years I have had a bone graft and an implant on one of my top front teeth.) I'm moving out of the area soon but will keep The Golden Apple as my dentist for as long as I'm able to. I highly recommend to everyone. Thank you to Isha and the team from a very happy customer.

Fantastic experience: Way better experience than my last visit! Had a new dentist this time Dr Alina, had to have my tooth extracted (first time) and she walked me through each step of the way and she was absolutely amazing, both the ladys I should say! They both made today's visit a breeze and made me feel comfortable. Was so lucky to have 2 lovely lady's that's for sure :)

Negative experience: The dentist are good. I have experienced 2 different dentists in 2 separate appointments. Their receptionist is not friendly at all (the old looking kiwi) she didn't smile or greet me. Must be racist as she greet the other customer who came after me. The other receptionist who is younger is better. Unprofessional staff. I rang them twice (4 days apart) to send me the referral letter to see a periodontist, I was told in both occasion that they'll do it by end of day, until now no email has been made. I tried calling them several times to ask again but their phone is busy!!!!!!!!!!! I am not impressed, yes their dentist are great but with the kind of service they have, I won't be coming back. Not recommended at all. PS: When the dentist pulled my teeth (happened on May), she told me that the someone will call me the following day to check on my condition, but no one called me. Unreliable staff members

Negative experience: Had a worst experience ever with apple dentist Hastings. Not recommended to anybody. Wasted my money unexperienced professionals. Dentist took off my teeth and told me it'll takes hardly 4 or 5 days to heal but but.... I'm still suffering even in 4th week. Can't eat properly. even affected area of the right corner of my lips haven't healed properly.

Fantastic experience: Wow first time coming here on recommendation. The staff were absolutely amazing and so caring. I dont like needles and the amount of care the staff gave me was just over and beyond. So i was really humbled by that. They even followed up with a phonecall too see how everything was the next day. Negative experience: Have problems with my dentures. Keep falling out when I eat. Rang apple dental in Hastings and I was told that the dentist had left and that I should go and see him at his new practice in Napier. I told the receptionist that I shouldn’t have to travel to Napier as apple dental are the ones who made my dentures. Got an appointment at apple dental in Havelock North with the owner and she gave them a quick fix file on upper gums because they were cutting into my upper gums and she said that I had to chase down the dentist who I had seen in Hastings. She didn’t want to know or help make my dentures better. Her reason was that I had to pay for relining as my gums were still shrinking. I actually waited 3 months before making my appointment. So $1600 later my dentures are just an expensive piece of rubbish which do not stay in my mouth, with the exception of polident adhesive. Very bitter owner and moaned about my dentist not giving enough notice when he left which I found out later to be false. I don’t want to know about your problems. No option to help me or a quote to have them relined. She just wanted me out of there. Money before clients. You should not be in business. Do not get your dentures from this company unless there is an understanding commitment that if they do not fit properly they will be fixed. Otherwise money down the loo. Edited: Thank you for your reply. I will make an appointment and if my dentures fit in my mouth properly without having to use polident daily I will change my review.

Fantastic experience: Great service from start to finish .Donna worked on a broken and decayed tooth, with her fabulous assistant and she kept me informed every step of the procedure.Most painless dental work ever, and no bruised or tender feeling once injection wore off!Calm reassuring professionals, and also receptionist, bonus was ...the price was$ 10 less than quoted!
