Negative experience: Had a filling and my tooth wasn't bad at all but she took away half the tooth. Structure of my tooth is now gone. Wouldn't recommend them. They're very nice but that doesn't help half my tooth gone. On top of that, pain I didn't have before now I have in my tooth.

Fantastic experience: Dentists can be scary (or so I thought) but the staff at Britomart are fantastic. Today was a return check-up with Dr Loong Yong who gave and provided detailed advice & exceptional service. Super convenient location makes it easy!

Fantastic experience: Been with the Tooth Company for many years now and joke that they are the poshest thing about me. But don't let their polished exterior fool you - they know their stuff and are super friendly and welcoming. They always deliver perfect, personable, and professional service. Their offices are conveniently located, very clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable across the board, and make you feel relaxed. In contrast to many other medical offices, I've never waited more than about 10 mins for my appointment to start after arriving. It's usually only a few minutes. They accommodate my busy schedule for appointments easily and without making me feel like a burden. I appreciate the reminders they send before appointments, ensuring I don't forget. They have all the latest tech, too. Prices are on the higher side (e.g. $166 for routine cleaning), but it's very worth it to me to have healthy teeth and gums, and very capable people looking after me. I enjoy how passionate and dedicated the staff are to dental health and keeping up with the latest dental science and technology. Shout out to Ebony - she is the best!! HIGHLY recommend, you won't regret making The Tooth Company your regular dentist!

Fantastic experience: Quite frankly, I was initially intimidated since the space is so nice and in a prime location that I was worried it would be overpriced — I’m happy to say I was wrong! The team here are all incredibly welcoming, helpful, and understanding. They’re great at advocating for better dental hygiene practices so I can prevent major issues down the line — as an example, Ebony shows me where I need to brush and floss more at the end of each session. I’d say the place is very fairly priced, especially given the high quality of treatment. I never feel pressured into doing a treatment, they share a lot of insight on why/how they approach things, and I really appreciate their transparency on pricing. I came here on a referral from a picky friend who also really enjoys going to this dentist. Would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: About 6-7 years ago I had a nightmare experience with a dentist and went to the Tooth Company to fix the mess. Since then, I have been across two sites (Smales Farm and Britomart), received dental and orthodontic treatment and have always received the best service. Staff are always accommodating and everyone is super knowledgeable. I recently moved overseas and was genuinely upset in having to find a new dentist. If you’re looking for a friendly, cost effective dental clinic - this is the one.

Fantastic experience: The Tooth Company is the only dental practice I haven’t found terrifying. It’s atmosphere is more relaxed spa than clinical scary dentist. The staff are all incredibly calm and caring, and exceptional at what they do. I no longer have to feel nervous going to the dentist or the hygienist, in fact I look forward to my visits!

Poppy at the front counter has been super helpful and very prompt with all communication. They even walked me home across the road when I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out! Highly recommended and very affordable services!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a broken tooth. They were very good at telling me the options Available and different pricing structures, no hard sales tactics, just normal humans. Also while doing the procedure my dentist explained what was going on as he was doing it. For me personally, this put me at ease. The procedure was very gentle and easy. I would definitely go back if I had problems with my teeth and I highly recommend them. They are all great people.

Fantastic experience: Have been to see the team at Britomart for a hygiene clean and wisdom teeth extraction. Really impressed by all of the staff, they really put me at ease and both procedures went really well even with my nerves. Glad to have them as my dentists.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with this place. Normally you go to a dentist and wonder if you'll get out without having to remortgage your home, this place is different. They take genuine pride in offering a full service to their clients and are very transparent with pricing, they truly go the extra mile. I have had a standard check up, filings and most recently whitening and have been very impressed with every session. Dr Arnon is FANTASTIC, very relaxed and friendly, very knowledgeable and you never feel like you're under time pressure. Commendable spot all in all that really differentiates itself from the crowd - I certainly won't be looking any further for any future needs.

Fantastic experience: James has handled my dental care for five years. I followed him to Customs St from Smales Farm, even though I live on the North Shore. He is thorough and personable. Visits are pain free. Options for treatment are volunteered in a lovely neutral fashion. At 80 I tend to settle for relatively short term solutions which invariably seem to hold up very well. Wish our paths had crossed years ago.

Negative experience: Nice premises but very disappointing experience. Had an 8am appointment and was greeted rather rudely by a gruff dental nurse. Nice coffee machine behind the counter which unfortunately wasn't offered! The dentist said I had minimal plaque but didn't do any cleaning, referring me to the hygienist when there was 20 minutes left in the appointment. In over 20 years of regular check ups, this is the first dentist who did not do the short and minimal clean required themselves. They instead went on to try and sell whitening products. The next hygienist appointment was weeks away and I had no choice but to take it. If I had gone to another dentist, I would have everything dealt with on one visit.

Fantastic experience: I came in to fix a cavity - everything went super smooth; the booking/reception was really helpful, and the dentist I saw was really professional, and everything went quick and easy. Transparent about prices; not super cheap but not super pricey either, and considering the nice premises and everything else it's well worth it. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist in a clean professional setting. Fees are up front and transparent, which is contrary to the rest of the profession in NZ. Fantastic customer experience, booked online and got a call back, and email confirming the appointment. Can't fault The Tooth Company, if you need a dentist in a hurry they have you covered.

Negative experience: Came here for an Xray. Felt impersonal, rushed, unfriendly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome dentists with really friendly and cool staff. The practise feels fresh and vibrant. Went in for a check up and got some honest advice with no push to up-sell. Fully recommend!
