Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Tawa Dental Care for over 20 years. My children began appointments from the age of 5 years. Having had terrible experiences with the School Dental Care Service when I was a child I have always felt very reassured at Tawa Dental Care. The service is exceptional. Colin is a very knowledgable Dentist. He has able to save an exsisting crown when a problem with a root appeared, saving me money. Colin takes a preventive approach with your dental care, which has saved our family money. All the staff are friendly and professional in thier work. I highly reccomend Tawa Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: The staff are wonderful! They were very understanding and accommodating to my schedule and did their best to squeeze me in short notice. I really appreciated that. During my appointment, Dr.Wei was friendly and very thorough. She helped me better understand my dental needs and wasn’t pushy with other services. The dental appointment itself wasn’t too uncomfortable (cleanings are always uncomfortable for me) but she was understanding and did her best to make it more comfortable for me. Overall, this is a great clinic to go to with friendly staff that provide excellent service.

I appreciated the time Dr Colin took to explain the details of the work I needed done so I understood and also how honest and transparent he was when it came to his recommendations. You could tell my dental care came first.

Fantastic experience: Booked an urgent appointment for my 3 year old today who had her tooth knocked out. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating to get us seen quickly. The dentist and the team were very welcoming, made my daughter feel at ease, and explained everything to us. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: TDC Look after me well! - They’re very informative and knowledgable They keep an eye on you and your Oral health, even when you don’t realise it! They Treat you well here, and prefer preventative measures over, reacting to situations when they get out of hand.

Fantastic experience: I always dislike and avoid as much as I can going to a dentist given my past bad experiences. However my recent visit to Tawa dental care proved to be exceptionally pleasant! I find that the services were very attentive, thoughtful and flexible. I needed to fix a chipped molar urgently but unfortunately I was down with a COVID. As soon as I was out of isolation, I desperately needed to get an appointment but to find out that the next available appointment was one week plus away. Wei-Yan was extremely nice to fit me into an appointment the next day by sacrificing her lunch hr break! She was also very gentle, pleasant to chat with (to calm down my nerves) and informative. She made it to the point to explain thoroughly what she was doing before she put anything into my mouth! :) I swear they have the best front desk service. Vanessa knew I was working on the appointment day. She gave me a phone call to give me a heads up that Wei Yan was behind schedule so that I did not have to take too much time off work for the appointment. That speaks a lot about their genuine care for their patients. I felt that I was overall very well taken care of all throughout my experience with them. Highly recommended to everyone!

Positive experience: Absolutely fantastic care. Colin does a fantastic job explaining everything and he is very thorough. 1 star off for cost as things are definitely on the expensive side. Examination with x-ray and hygiene treatment were each about 2x the Wellington median price according to https://www.consumer.org.nz/articles/dentist-fees

Fantastic experience: Vanessa and Wei-Yan are absolutely fantastic, they bent over backwards to fit my 7 year old son in for two emergency appointments after he suffered an injury that chipped three of his teeth. Wei-Yan was excellent at making sure my son felt at ease, and at explaining what needed to be done and showing him the x-rays. Highly recommend - the team are empathetic and so caring, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I'm an extremely anxious dental patient, however the team at Tawa Dental Care were all so lovely and kind, they instantly put me at ease. Colin explained everything thoroughly, so I knew exactly what was needed, and for the first time in my life I didn't feel a thing while having my teeth drilled for fillings!! I am so happy that I decided to go to them, and I can't recommend them highly enough!!!

Positive experience: The service isn't as good as Bayside dentist in Auckland. Their hygienist did a really good job, she cleans so thoroughly and carefully. However, she pushed too hard. I'm not very used to it. I'll try another one in Auckland one day.

Fantastic experience: Very nice dental care had a real sore tooth at Christmas time and was going on holiday mid January all other dentist where too busy. Left a message on tawa dental care website early January. They ring me back within a couple of days and said they could fit me in as they had opened up for urgent dental care Colin asset the problem one day and did temp repair so I could have a nice holiday which I did thanks to Colin and staff I will be coming back as been trying to find a good dentist and Colin is great. AAA+

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Colin. He was able to quickly and effortlessly repair my chipped tooth, and it feels great now.

Negative experience: Very very bad experience in here, 5months ago just stick a crown spend 300 dollar more only use it for 5month, after 5month falling out they are no guarantee for it and very expensive price lower quality glue. My family and I won’t be there again. I asked many dental clinics they are guarantee 1 years only need 107 dollars this is not about how many times fallen off. It is about your dentist professional skill and materials quality. I think all the patients want to same price same quality!!!
