Hazel on reception txt me a couple of hours later to ask how I was feeling and recommended to me services I could use over the weekend if my pain gets too unbearable ahead of my appointment with them on Monday. Most thoughtful sweet person I’ve met in a long time! Like a lot of people I get anxious going to the dentist but with customer service like that I already feel more comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Kind and friendly staff who explain things carefully and clearly. The Oral hygienist did a great job and she was mindful of sensitivities and gave great advice. The same goes for the dentist who took care to ensure my fillings were done well and that I was properly and completely numbed before starting. 10/10 all round and good value for money.

Negative experience: These people are crooks !! I had a loose tooth cemented back in properly in 2018. I was happy, I paid and then left. 5 years later they want me to pay again, they say I didn’t pay and I owe them $120 urgently . I’ve never heard of anybody being allowed to leave the dentist without paying or signing something. Beware of these thieves!!!

Negative experience: I would not reccomend this clinic to anyone. I went in for a consultation and they told me I was looking upto 3K in dental fees for two fillings and my wisdom teeth removal. When I went to a different, more expensive dental clinic they told me it would be under $500 to remove my wisdom teeth and that I didn't need any fillings at ALL. In the past I had visited this dentist, and they told me I needed braces and when I consulted a second dentist they said that I didn't need to. This dental clinic relies on fear and often scares their paitents into choosing pricey treatments they do not need. I am quite angry that they told me I needed two fillings when I obviously did not need any. I would not suggest this place to anyone, unless you wish to spend much more for unnecessary dental care.

Fantastic experience: Went to see these guys yesterday. What an incredibly nice brace of dentists (brace is the collective noun for dentists :) As i hadn't been to a dentist for over 10 years i was mindful of receiving a lecture and a good telling off. What I got was an incredibly friendly approach from the receptionist, the assistant and the Dentist. They were knowledgeable, informative and I have no hesitation in proceeding with these guys down the lengthy pathway of dental procedures that only 10 years of neglect can generate. I also was in disbelief at the initial bill as was my wife who is now considering moving herself and our two daughters away from their current Remuera dentist and across to Dental World Panmure. Couldn't recommend this place enough...

Fantastic experience: First time visiting today, just got a check up, Sneha was my dentist and wanted to say thank you to her for making my first time experience with them very pleasant and comfortable. I don't like dentists just because of past experiences but really loved their service and super friendly staff. I stay 45 minutes away from this particular dental clinic, and I will gladly make the drive again for any future dental problem I have. Thank you to the ladies that were working today!!

Negative experience: Worst customer service, my elderly mother in-law had a 4pm appointment to which we arrived at 4pm. We sat and waited in the waiting room for 30mins before anyone came out and when someone did I asked how long it’ll be because my mother in-laws appointment was at 4pm, the woman replied “sorry 5 more minutes” Another 20mins went by and a different woman came out to say “2 more minutes” We sat in the waiting room for an hour & a half and didn’t get seen to until 5.20pm. No explanation nothing. Could’ve at least had the decency to explain to us that there’s over an hours wait and if we’d like to rebook instead of blatantly LYING and saying “sorry 5mins, sorry 2mins”. Absolutely shocking to let us wait for that long, we left the dentist in pitch black darkness and it was past 6pm before we were out the door. If I had it my way I would never return but they have already started the work on my mother in-laws dentures and she feels obligated to return. Very unprofessional, felt as if they tried to keep the appointment going because if we had left it would’ve been money out of their pockets and a loss of a paying customer. If the tables were turned and we had shown up to an appointment an hour and a half late we would be turned away in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: I have just been for another amazing treatment by the great team at Dental world panmure. I can't praise these guys enough for the job they have done on my teeth. I always feel well taken care of and at ease with them when getting my treatment done here. Been going here for many years, after being treated badly by other dentists. I have had root canal, fillings, extraction and some other work done. Great thing is that nothing is ever a problem. I am never leaving you guys .

Fantastic experience: Dr Ty has been my dentist for the last ten years and he continues to be absolutely wonderful. He has a very kind bedside manner - he ensures I am completely at ease and don't experience discomfort. He always explains every procedure and I have always felt that I am well-informed with regard to my options. To top it off, Dental World Panmure's pricing is transparent. I couldn't recommend Dr Ty and the team more. I'll be returning for another ten years at least :)

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. Team here is very professional, caring, gentle and very kind to me. The moment you walk in the door front desk coordinator Andrea makes you feel comfortable as if you are a friend. Everything was on time and managed well. Ty and team are very quick in analyzing your requirement, problem and providing with solutions by priority. Dental Nurse Anureet did a tremendous job, with-in a few moments I felt I am in safe hands. They are thorough with explanations about each and every step they are performing during the treatment. I am actually feeling much less stressed about my next appointments here. I strongly recommend this place for your dental needs. I will rate them five stars any number of times i go.

Negative experience: Not recommended for vulnerable people. By the reviews sounds like they give selective treatment? Maybe it's my race? Samoan or the fact that I came as a winz client? I don't know what I did to deserve unprofessional treatment. I came here for a wisdom tooth extraction and a root canal. Overall as a patient I felt rushed and I have good reason for saying this.. Post procedure I asked if I could use the bathroom as I had been busting. I was told they were running out of time and I had to stay to get an x-ray. It was only going to take 2min to go to the rest room but I was told no otherwise I had to wait 6 months. There is a reason WHY an x-ray is done post procedure to make sure they've got the infected bits out and there's nothing left in the repaired tooth. I went to the bathroom and when I came back I was told I had missed my chance to get an x-ray to come back in 6 months. I was given a small piece of paper with vague instructions for after care of wisdom tooth extraction and no information on post care for root canal procedure. A week went by and I was in agony called Dental world numerous times and no answer. I was desperate and in agony so I went and saw another dentist whom fixed my wisdom tooth extraction immediately. That dentist had advised there's good reason why there was a need for an x-ray. I cannot chew on the root canal tooth cause I experience pain and it's taken a good while longer for my wisdom tooth extraction to heal. At this clinic you'll feel rushed, be talked to in a condescending manner get attitude, talked over and you're appointments will be rescheduled with the excuse that the dentist is sick. You'll be given ultimatums about your care which isn't fair cause you PAY for that time and they have a duty of care. I've always had to prompt the conversation about aftercare and this responsibility falls on the staff not up to you to do a google search. It's a real shame cause there's amazing dentists and dental nurses out there, like my sister, that work tirelessly to make sure patients are 100% comfy, well informed and getting the best care possible. Places like this give dentistry a bad name.. The reviews are correct about Ty Shah though he is very friendly and good at what he does it's a shame about his staff and if he owns this practice he has a duty to make sure his staff are professional, welcoming and are bound to that patient duty of care. I am truly disappointed that I have had to suffer longer than I should of and may I add the fact that it's cost me more. Would you guys be accountable if I had serious complications? cause that's what it almost came down to. I ended up with dry socket and a badly infected tooth. A lot of unnecessary pain caused by negligence.

He did a thorough overview of my teeth and gave me a plan of what needed to be done, with prices. I also took my 3 year old for his first check up and Ty made him feel very calm.
