Fantastic experience: Dr. Alice was amazing! She cleaned my teeth so well , I could really feel the difference after. She was gentle, friendly, and explained everything clearly. I felt completely at ease during the whole visit. Highly recommend her if you want quality dental care!

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my mum who lives in Hawera as she couldn’t get in with a dentist down there for 5 weeks. I thought these guys looked good because of their feedback. How wrong I was!! My mum went in as she had what she thought was a toothache. They redid a filling on the supposed tooth and that was that. I wasn’t with my mum as I had something on elsewhere but from what she told me and what I’ve seen, I’m absolutely appalled!! Now my mum hasn’t been to the dentist in years, fair enough, no one would know that but after doing her filling the dentist didn’t think to tell my mum not to eat or drink anything for an hour. EVERY time I see my dentist, I’m told this. So mistake one. The second thing he tells her is make sure you book in with your dentist because there looks like there may be something wrong with your gum….THAT IS LITERALLY WHY I BOOKED HER IN WITH YOU, BECAUSE SHE CANT SEE HER DENTIST! The 3rd thing and this is the most important!!! The very next day, my mum was still in pain so she booked in with a nurse, the nurse tells my mum SHE HAS AN ABSCESS AND ASKS WHY THE DENTIST DIDNT NOTICE THIS AND WHY THE DENTIST WHO HAS THE POWER TO DO IT, DIDNT WRITE A SCRIPT FOR ANTIBIOTICS!!!!!!! I asked my mum why she didn’t ask the dentist for a script and she said they didn’t have the time, it was like I was rushed out. So I would steer very clear of this place. My mum isn’t one to kick up a fuss about anything but here we are almost 2 weeks on, my mum is still in pain with her mouth and shes back in to see the Dr for pain relief!! Lucky I wasn’t with my mum when this happened cos there’s no way she would’ve felt like she need to be rushed out. What disgusting behaviour and crap work! EDIT: My mum has zero interest in driving 45mins again to a dentist who put in subpar work the first time. She has now also seen another dentist who has told her that her filling is too high and it had to be ground down. Yet another issue. All well and good for you to “investigate” and say there may be other issues with her mouth but how a dentist can’t identify an abscess shows how incompetent they are. I won’t be replying and please stop editing your reply over and over again, it won’t help my review.

Fantastic experience: Was told they were busy and they wouldn't be able to extract my impacted wisdom tooth today. I went in and was seen to immediately and they pulled out two of my wisdom teeth all within like 30-40 minutes. Incredibly swift and efficient and super friendly too. Would absolutely come here again. I would give 100 stars if I could. They also have afterpay!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous for getting my wisdom tooth taken out. The whole thing was over in 20mins and I didn’t feel any pain.

Negative experience: Proceed with caution. I had a check up done initially, and it was fine, then booked in to have my front teeth capped. The result was terrible. I had them done a year ago, and have been embarrassed of my teeth since, but have not been back as did not want any further damage done. They may be ok at general dentistry, but cosmetic work is different, and a warning should be communicated to patients that they will not get good capping cosmetic results. I only hope that my front teeth were not ground down too much during the procedure and caps are still and option with another dentist.

Negative experience: The child initially refused to look at their teeth, but when taking dental photos in Okura clinic, Dr. Joy didn't have the patience to tell them how to bite. The card was pinned to the gums, causing the child to feel very painful!The next day, I saw Dr. Li Qi at the Molseworth Street clinic asking for better treatment methods, but he was arrogantly and irresponsibly replied to go to the hospital for treatment. I had no choice but to emphasize that I cannot force your child to have a dental filling. May I ask if I am willing to force my child to have their teeth filled? Overall, I am very disappointed and frustrated with the attitude and service quality of this clinic! The only thing I am still satisfied with is the attitude of the front desk in handling things, without any other recommendations.

Fantastic experience: Great practice. Friendly staff. Had two wisdom teeth removed today and my dentist (whose name I can’t remember) was awesome. One tooth was impacted and took a while, but the whole process was relatively pain free. When I did feel a bit of pain he stopped immediately and applied more of the numbing stuff ‍♀️. Today was my second time seeing him. He’s super friendly and professional. Doesn’t make you feel awful for taking so long to see a dentist, which a a huge plus. So, I highly recommend this practice. In fact, I chose it thanks to the reviews I saw on online, while trying to find a dentist in the Taranaki region. Huge thanks to the people who take the time to leave reviews! I had a consultation in Oakura and then an appointment in their Molseworth Street Clinic. I was happily impressed with the professional, incredibly friendly and warm experience. Fantastic experience: After having horrible experiences all my life with dental work I've since, only gone under full anesthetic. Today I had an emergency extraction done awake and it was world's apart! I highly recommended dental delight for anyone that has any fears, dental work isn't nice as it is and I felt they made it the best it could be.

Fantastic experience: After having an excellent initial consultation with Alice, I was excited to hear she offered whitening as well. I had speculations after hearing about whitening through the grapevine, but Alice explained to me, in depth, the procedure for whitening and made me feel very comfortable. The process was easy and painless and I was pleased that Alice used a protective barrier for my gums. I was shocked at how well the whitening worked and only a few hours after my appointment I noticed a significant difference in my smile. Will definitely be going back! Thank You Dental Delight 10/10

I was really nervous before my appointment due to a previous bad experience with having a wisdom tooth out (different dentist practice) but Rupert was calming and kept me informed the whole time.
