Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Dr Romanah Ahmed! I chipped two of my teeth while white-water rafting and was feeling really anxious about visiting a dentist overseas. Dr Romanah put me right at ease, explaining my condition clearly and providing me with a quick fix so that I can continue with my travels. Fantastic experience: After having a root canal procedure performed by Dr Romanah, I am incredibly impressed with how smooth the procedure went and how painless the recovery process was. In the course of the procedure, she would calmly explain what would happen and how the next step would feel. I felt at ease as she was very gentle throughout. As arranged, I underwent the procedure in three stages. Following each procedure, I was contacted a day later to check on my progress, which was a very thoughtful gesture. After years of not being able to chew on my teeth without pain, I now have the ability to do so painlessly after she performed the procedure. She is highly knowledgeable, amazing, and very gentle, making even an intensive procedure like a root canal as comfortable and pleasant as possible. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: While traveling, I had a crown fall out unexpectedly. Dr Ahmed was able to see me the next day, and was able to reattach the crown in one visit! She clearly explained what had happened, and what she could do to fix it. Turned a situation that could have derailed our whole trip into just a minor bump in the road. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Ich hatte auf meinem Flug nach Neuseeland akut Zahnschmerzen bekommen. Ich habe direkt am nächsten Tag einen Termin bekommen und Dr. Ahmed hat sich wirklich viel Zeit für mich und das Erklären genommen und wir haben eine Zwischenlösung gefunden. Ich bin wirklich dankbar, dass ich die Praxis gefunden habe. Sehr saubere und moderne Praxisräume und das Personal war unfassbar nett und professionell.

Fantastic experience: I was very lucky to get an appointment at this dentist after having an accident whilst on holiday in NZ. Dr Romanah Ahmed was so gentle and kind as she manipulated my front teeth back into position. I could not have asked for more: to me she was a miracle worker. I experienced no pain at all afterwards. I have just seen a prosthodontist back in Sydney and he praised the work she did getting my front teeth aligned and secured with a wire band.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been completely happy with this practice. John, original owner, was extremely helpful on a tourist visit back years ago and worked out of hours to fix my cracked filling Romanah is the delightful new owner and I love the way she constantly tells you what's about to happen, and what it will feel like. Can promise that nothing hurt and her attention to detail is remarkable. Jen is the lovely assistant and the business deserves to do very well.

Fantastic experience: Even though the facility is closed on weekends, Dr. Romanah Ahmed took care of our son’s broken teeth. She saved us driving hours to the next hospital. She was so careful and knows how to handle small kids. We are so grateful for this competent and caring treatment.

Fantastic experience: Sudden acute pulpitis while traveling in Queenstown, I had to keep icy water in my mouth to relieve the pain, and then I found Queenstown Dentist, a dental clinic with Dr. Romanah Ahmed’s patient examination and professional advice. Medicine and painkillers helped me on the subsequent journey, thank you to everyone in this dental clinic for their help.

Fantastic experience: John is a great dentist and you can tell he really cares about his patient and passion about dentistry, I came to see John with many challenging teeth problems, from root canal to teeth cleaning, he always take time to explain my concerns and questions, and make it easy to understand. He make sure what he has done to the tooth are perfect even though sometimes he is already behind his schedule of the day. John also find couple of new cavities which another dental clinic in town didn't manage to find. The clinic manager Rebecca and dental assistant Jennifer are very friendly and helpful, always try their best to fit me into John's busy timetable, I had a very bad toothache during the second lockdown, and got an appointment as soon as restrictions lifted to level 2. I moved out from Queenstown, sadly have to find a new dentist that can trust and as good as him! :(. Can't recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: Credit where credit is due, what a fantastic experience going to the dentist! I was always abit apprehensive with dental treatment from previous bad experiences in the UK. John takes so much time explaining everything in great detail for you so you understand. You can tell he really has a passion for what he does and actually cares about you as a patient! Negative experience: If you ever find yourself visiting this office for emergency during holiday be prepared for a hefty bill. We were forced to look for an emergency dentist during Christmas Day. For the procedure to clean an infected gum and write a description for a medicine we got a bill of 970 dollars involving 250 dollars for phone consultation just to book an appointment. Thank good I have a good travel insurance. I feel sad for backbackers if they are to visit mr Molloy afterhours.

I had an emergency (cracked tooth) during a trip to NZ while we were in Queenstown and Dr Molloy accepted me after hours, gave me a full treatment with detailed explanations and answered every question I had with patience and a smile. He's super knowledgeable and one of the best doctors I've met. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Always a smiling face when greeted that puts anyone at ease. Easy to talk to and John listens to any problems and does his best to fix the problem. I don't feel as if my wallet has been emptied when I leave and would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Negative experience: Re.REPLY BELOW , IT WAS DEFINITELY THIS PRACTICE YOU NEVER REPLIED I SAY GOOD INTENTIONS FROM JOHN POOR RECEPTIONIST I had some pain . Asked for a temp, went there after appointment booked . Had to wait half an hour. Explained needed some repair work done , previous ACC claim. Asked for price. They charged me about $150 for a digital scan which they have not provided for me after requested by email. No temp was done . No care Price not given . Email not replied to, and I have since had problem sorted in Melbourne for $90 temp filling, and price for full treatment transparent on first visit

Fantastic experience: As a long time Queenstown local I had been visiting another Queenstown dental clinic for over 15 years who are very good ,when they couldn't fit me in for over 2 weeks I visited John who was excellent! , He has a sparkling clean modern practice ,was very patient and took the time to explain some great dental care tips that i had never heard . Thanks again John I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Back in September I was having horrible pain from my impacted wisdom teeth and was an emotional wreck by the time I managed to sort an emergency appointment with this practice. The staff were all so lovely and sympathetic, and the service so good that I will now be using this surgery for any further dental visits. Fantastic experience: Visited Queenstown Dentist John Molloys practice while on holidays from Australia with an angry wisdom tooth, the practice was very accomodating getting me in at short notice, The practice itself is the best I've seen, clean, modern, bright, very well presented, The staff where very friendly and helpful, Once in the chair John is professional but manages to keep it casual and light which helped me feel comfortable and confident, there's a great view of the lake also! I was so happy with this Dental Practice that should I find reasonable flights out of Australia I would travel back just for dental work here, I felt under safe hands, and had no issues after extraction and was able to go from the chair to the chairlift! (This review coming from somebody who would rather sit in a lion enclosure than a dentist chair - but John and his team make that a lot easier)

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Queenstown and with a slight toothache I thought I should get it checked out while in town. I'd not been to my own Dentist in Auckland for 5 yrs and so glad I did see John. He found a large cavity show up on the xray, and I was probably a few weeks away from having a major root canal which would have cost me big $. John advised he would plug the cavity with a temporary filling to allow time for the process to work through and then have it permanently filled when back home. I found John to be very thorough and explained the whole process clearly and in an easy manner. I would recommend John Molloy to anyone who's visiting Queenstown and not sure which Dentist to see.
