Fantastic experience: Dr Xavier Parackal, thank you so much for fixing my grandmothers broken tooth late on a Thursday night for an emergency appointment at 8pm (the day before a public holiday). I am so thankful you guys were open. Wouldn’t have asked for a better dentist or team. Communication and empathy were excellent. We will be returning. You guys really go above and beyond. 5 Million stars ⭐️ service.

Fantastic experience: I first met Garth @ Dentistry for Chickens about 18 years ago when my daughter needed extractions for orthodontic work. We progressed from Garth to Dr Alan Tan. Yesterday I needed a broken tooth fixed. From making my appointment to the end result all within a few hours was seamless, kind, and supportive. There's no judgements, there's humour and a ton of good vibes. Dr Alan Tan you're amazing, the best chair side manner! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: The team at this clinic were very empathetic and supportive. They made the environment cozy for me and made me feel comfortable at the dentist. I have had really bad previous dental experiences where I have been often blamed for not being able to cope and most dentists just gave up on me. This team were so caring and understanding that I didn't even need IV sedation to relax my nerves or gag reflex. They understood me very well and thought about how to best support me. They were very encouraging and it is the first time ever I went home with a smile after a dental treatment, as I felt very comfortable and supported throughout the procedure. Thank you doctor Xavier and Amanda for giving me a great experience and making me feel confident about visiting the dentist. As I have struggled with dental related phobias, I know very well after my experience at this clinic that the right team and right support will make the biggest difference for anyone working on their dental related fears. I strongly recommend anyone struggling to go and see this lovely team, as they will put together a plan that works best for you and won't give up on you. Thanks team

Fantastic experience: We had an exceptional experience at Dentistry for chickens from Tracy making the bookings through treatment with Alan and the other reception staff and nurses on the phone afterwards. Our daughter needed 4 molars extracted for orthodontic work and she was extremely anxious. Her experience with Alan was so good, she asked us the next day if Alan could be her new regular dentist. Alan is so kind, caring and calming while still being very honest about the treatment and what was going to happen. After we got home, the whole team continued to care for us over the phone, calling to check in multiple times after we had some concerns about bleeding. I was impressed with the level of follow up and attention and we felt genuinely cared for. I highly recommend them to others looking for professional, quality and genuine care.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a tooth extraction with Dr. Tan and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. I’m really anxious about going to the dentist but Dr. Tan was thorough, gentle, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. I can honestly say that the extraction was not only quick but completely painless, too! In addition, the Dentistry for Chickens office staff are friendly and helpful which also helped put me at ease the moment I arrived there. For anyone looking for excellent dental care, I highly recommend Dr. Tan.

Fantastic experience: I had a chipped/cracked crown and the practice was able to book me in quickly to have this fixed. Dr Amar did a great job installing a temporary crown and my permanent crown was completed earlier than expected. Great job at managing my pain and always checking in if I was okay. Thank you Dr Amar and the DA's at this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have not been to see a Dentist for about six years. I had cancer and had Chemotherapy and Radiation as well which can wreck havoc, one of the many side effects of going through cancer. Not to mention severe anxiety about dentists. I was told about this company through a friend, and let’s just I have not been disappointed. I have never received such caring, and kind people in my life. They made me feel so comfortable, and nothing was to much trouble.I loved the fact that you are slightly sedated as well. One of dentists even had the same name as myself which was hilarious. They take your blood pressure, monitor your oxygen levels then semi put you to sleep. And when they are finished you honestly just feel like you have been in that chair for about 30 minutes. My experience was so pain free and relaxed, under there care I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. I just wanted to say a huge Thank you to all their staff, especially Dr Amar Khosa & Leslie Ann. You gave me back my smile, something that cancer took away. I cannot thank you enough.

Negative experience: Spoke to the reception girl by phone 25/5/23 late afternoon. After asking a some questions quite shocked to hear her raise her voice at me over the phone, however, I suppose she may have had a long day. I did feel kind of nervous and concerned. may wish to employ someone more respectful and pleasant for future ref next time. I did have her on speaker and had my friends with me at the time listening as they were interested in finding out more info, but ended up not saying anything after the way she responded. Im not one to do reviews but my friends encouraged me to do a review and letter of complaint maybe regarding her customer service over the phone.

Fantastic experience: I've had excellent service here. I'm not a big fan of dentists but first with Allan and now with Theresa I've found both to be great dentists. Only through random events (bike crash and ability to get an appointment) did I switch to Theresa, but she has been just awesome so I am very comfortable with both of these dentists. Super professional and excellent service in both emergency and ongoing care. Lesley is also an excellent assistant.

Negative experience: Thanks Tracey due to your total rudeness you have lost a customer of over 20 years, Very unprofessional and stuck up. Will be going elsewhere. Hope Garth and Simone are happy with that as i was going to spend nearly a grand or so on dental work. very very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Had to get a weekend emergency appointment. Howard was so lovely, put me completely at ease and made the whole thing as painless as possible. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Today I called DforC's in the emergency unit and spoke to Lesley, who was absolutely wonderful to speak with. I must have asked her like 20 questions or so, but Lesley answered every one of them professionally and warmly. This was a very positive experience.Thank you Lesley.

Fantastic experience: I went to See Dr Allan for a consultation, he went out of his way to take the time to carefully explain everything to me and was so careful and gentle. Really lovely "bedside manner" and really good value for money. I recommend to any dental 'chickens" out there to give these guys a go.

Negative experience: What is the point of this practice? They can't see you in an emergency. They can't book you in- takes weeks for an appointment. When you finally see them, they never deal with the problem, go on about other issues that are not YOUR priority right now. Avoid, unless you like a slow service that drags on.

Fantastic experience: Always fabulous service from reception into Garths surgery , I'm so scared of dentist I wouldn't couldn't go anywhere else , had my appointment yesterday with a grt plan put in place to deal with my fear and my teeth couldn't be more happy . Only disappointment was I dreamed last night that not only did Garth fix my neglected teeth but he gave me a face lift .....so darn disappointed when I woke up Any way enough thank you all so much see you soon

Negative experience: I was recommended to go here and I first called for a quote to x ray 1 tooth, time and extraction of tooth was quoted as $350. When I went to pay they said it was $405 I asked why it was different from the quote and they said that they did a full x ray so it was $65 extra. I really feel that they should inform people with the extras and x rays. I only wanted what I was quoted, I dint actually need an x ray the tooth as clearly loose then I could have been charged only for pay for whatI was quoted.. It was like going for a car to be serviced for $350 then being told it is $450 because they decided to use a different oil. I didn't go ahead with the next procedure as a result of that. However, I must say that they are lovely and Dr Sherrif was great , a nice upsell from him which I would have gone for if I hadn't received the $65 add on.

Fantastic experience: Love this place, Gentle, relaxed environment. I have had 1 wisdom tooth pulled and a teeth clean, i am scared of the dentist and this place makes me feel relaxed.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for several years now and always have had good experiences. Their facilities are state of the art and for the first time I felt no pain getting fillings. Apparently I have extra pallet nerves my previous dentists didn't pick up on!? Would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: all equipment old everything about my plain straight forward broken filling was 'never seen before" my sensitivity was 'unusual' and everything else seemed 'unfamiliar' to the female dentist i had. i paid 70$ for a checkup so the total ended up $320 or $340 can't recall exactly and honestly she couldn't tell me nothing about nothing in my mouth so wtf did she 'checkup' and what i paid the extra $70 for is beyond me... and it hurt like hell. dentist and female nurse were chatting over my head about stupidity fully not paying attention and just horrid. 3 years later i still feel ripped off and would not ever go back nor ever recommend it to anyone.
