Our mission is to provide high quality hygiene services including support treatment for implants as well as periodontal (gum) treatment using the best of modern technology.
Christchurch Periohygiene was conceived to bridge the gap between well qualified dental hygienists who are already providing maintenance oral care to the public and periodontists (gum specialists) who treat moderate to complex periodontal (gum) disease involving teeth and implants.
Our dental hygienists have undergone additional training not only in diagnosis but also in skills which is needed to treat early right up to moderate periodontal (gum) disease. The latest in dental hygiene equipment are employed as well as ensuring that chair side assistance is present

Negative experience: Whilst paying to the receptionist for my 10 minute consult, she interrupted the process to answer and process three incoming phone calls. So my payment took about 10 minutes. I felt not an important client and think she correct approach should be to answer but askthe phone client to hold.

Fantastic experience: Staff are amazing. I was embarrassed going in and felt instantly at ease. Yasmin did my initial consult which was great and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Karen did my treatments and she is just an awesome woman with a cool personality, gentle and so good at her job!!(I apologize as Im unsure who assisted, her name escapes my mind, but she was brilliant aswell comforting when I was getting multiple shots in my gums)Such an exceptional team and I'm so thankful for the treatment and the positive experience. Fantastic experience: Recently I was referred to Periohygiene as I was faced with having teeth replaced with dentures. Dr Yasmin was very thorough and had a plan for my teeth. I had an appointment with Karen who was wonderful (as are all the staff) She explained the process of cleaning my teeth and working on my gums. After two appointments my teeth and gums are so much better and only wish I had it done years ago. Do yourself and your teeth and gums a favour and visit the team at PerioHygiene.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Yasmin and her team because I have gum disease and really all I can do now is see a Dental Hygienist to keep the gums clean and keep up the recommended routine at home to save my teeth. I saw Dr Yasmin who was no nonsense and gave me the details I needed efficiently and then referred me to her Hygienist Natalie who I have seen twice. The visits are somewhat grueling but she has reduced the decline of my gums and I cant recommend the team highly enough for finally providing me with the best advice and care I have ever had. I now have a plan for the future and know exactly what I need to do to maintain my important teeth.

Fantastic experience: If I could provide a 6* I totally would. I followed Karen from another dental clinic as she is honestly the most down to earth dental practitioner I have met. She is incredibly talented in her profession and her expertise and skill is one of the best I have come across in the industry. With over $30,000 of dental work I have had done (not cosmetic), I'm well positioned to make these comments.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. Great service, and everyone there is super nice and helpful. We had a tight schedule and they tried their best to fit both my partner and I in (they even changed their lunch time for us). Very throughly cleaning and the hygienist explains everything to me, make me feel very comfortable and being taken good care of.
