Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at st albans Lumino. I was nervous coming in to the dentist, but the receptionist was so kind and friendly it put me at ease. The dentist took his time with me and explained everything very clearly. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Catherine Jack is one of the best (if not the best) dentist I have encountered in Christchurch. Explains options clearly, injections are nearly painless, and fillings are perfect. A perfectionist in the best way, she wants you to feel comfortable and do her best job with your teeth. I’ve recommended her to friends who are very nervous about the dentist, and they’ve said she puts them at ease which is a great quality for those who have had bad experiences. Lovely receptionists too. Would recommend.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Booked me for a 9.30am appointment, I arrive 5mins early, wait for 30mins before someone else is seeing the dentist I am meant to be seeing, meaning I wouldnt be seeing the dentist until at least 10.30am. Deeming my time of waiting as unimportant. I'll take my business elsewhere

Fantastic experience: Feeling very thankful for Kristine's experience and intuition today after a recent xray failed to show decay due to it being obscured by another filling. She suggested investigating and I'm glad I trusted her as there was a lot of decay hiding away! Kristine has definitely saved me from a future root canal procedure! I highly trust, value and recommend Kristine. Thank you. :-)

Negative experience: I have an appointment this Saturday but the receptionist is saying I need to come in and pay on Friday. They now ignore emails and requests to make a complaint. 0/0.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Lumino St Albans are amazing the reception staff are friendly and welcoming. The dentist and dental team are lovely, respectful and very considerate and caring if you are anxious about dentists like me. I highly recommend Lumino St Albans for all dental treatment

Negative experience: OMG. just had a call from them. bill unpaid for 6 weeks due to unforeseen bills and trying just to survive and its going to a debt collector.......and this is why a lot of people don't go to dentists or doctors...Its sounds like they only care about money not not people

Fantastic experience: I have been using these dentists for a few years after they were recommended to me. Always prompt attention, caring staff and efficient service. I recently damaged a crown and they arranged for an appointment the next day. Narelle and her assistant who I, had never met before were excellent, kind, caring and gentle service. I have made a follow up appointment for check over etc. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: As someone who tried 3 dentists in Chch before here, I can honestly say my experience with Kristine was A+. My 3 fillings feel and look great and I felt very secure with her communication through every step and her empathy for patient comfort. Staff are lovely too. Thank you guys!

Negative experience: Receptionist very rude , dentist lady very good with help in certain area , where I wasn't informed when I booked my appointment there was a payment of $50 dollars for a quote , Wouldn't recommend at all

Positive experience: Price ended up double what I expected because they changed the appointment to double appointment without communicating with me first ( I was happy with a standard appointment and what could be done in that time, and said so) The hygienist also disregarded my request for a lecturefree appointment which I found stressful, disrespectful and rude. Even though it was a good and painless clean I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Fantastic experience: Stunning service from Front desk to the chair. Painless procedure and the dentist (Jessica) was thorough with her diagnosis, explanation and detail on aftercare. For a dentist visit.....it was outstanding.

Fantastic experience: It had been some years since I had been, so feeling a lot anxious I made my way to St. Albans Dental Centre. Recomended by my partner and I'm so glad she did. Theu were easy going and friendly, took the time to explain all the steps and answer questions. Facilities were immaculate and everything highly professional and efficient. Was such a not terrible experience I immediately booked my next visit.

Negative experience: Great service by Jessica to have a crown re cemented but the cost for 20 minutes work was $250!!!!! Essentially tantamount to exploitation as this is my regular dentist and needed it fixed promptly. This charge is impossible to justify and I can just imagine the greedy grin the owners of this business have when they are charging in excess of $10 pet minute for their service. I feel ripped off.

Negative experience: IF i can choose 0 star, my review would be more appropriate. i had the worst dental experience in my life. i have visited here to fix all of my upper teeth (4 fillings). 3 out of 4 new filling had broken within a week time, ( one of them broke within a day). they told me, i have strong bite....so i had to visit again to refill for free (off course), and again one of them that had been REFIILED, broke again.... it had took them forever to get it right. no proper appologies have ever made by any stuff. never go back there or recommended to anyone. i always told people to not go to st albans dentist.

Fantastic experience: Andrew has been fantastic, really kind and friendly and explains everything clearly. I was extremely nervous as I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time and knew I needed fillings and extractions, but it all went so smoothly and he was very thorough.

Negative experience: I can't even get them on the phone, the one time I did they hung up on me when I said "hello". Rather let my teeth rot then deal with this dental centre

Fantastic experience: For my dental treatments, I have visited various dental centers over the years, but I visited St. Albans Dental after someone’s recommendations . This has to be one of the best dental centers I have ever been to. The dentist there is very experienced, very professional & friendly. My treatment & results were very satisfactory. I recommend Them for all your dental needs, very impressed!!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Andrew, the nicest dentist I have ever met- he did a tricky AND pain-free filling , I did not even feel the injection! He shows genuine compassion for his clients and is extremely skilled at what he does. I am very happy to say that I have lost my dentist - anxiety!

My dentist Andrew was very knowledgeable and gave me some different options to choose from with information about each. I also had a filling done and didn't feel the injection at all!
