Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for 6 years now and Brigitte is the best! So happy, bubbly, professional and really good at her job. She always looks after me and I only have positive things to say.

Fantastic experience: I had an extraction of a broken molar done yesterday by Kate and she was amazing. She was so gentle with the injections and the whole procedure. She divided the tooth up before taking it out which made the process a lot easier with less tugging pulling. I went in with trepidation from a bad experience a few years ago at another place and was expecting to be writhing in pain for the weekend but so far so good. She put me at ease and did everything she could to prevent dry socket as I am prone to it. It's not even 24hrs after the extraction and I have only mild pain. Kate was amazing and I highly recommend her. I can now actually enjoy the long weekend. Thanks so much Kate

Fantastic experience: I saw my hygienist for the second time after a lot of years of no treatment.. excuse spelling. Muskhan? She was great at my first visit and at my second...was so happy with my progress that she made me feel like I had received 100 % in a tough exam but also gave me way more confidence. She was so kind, happy and I think proud of me. This made my day and I have referred her to others. She is a real asset to Lumino. Plus Kate.. the dentist who has been a godsend to my family..my husband is no longer terrified of dentists due to her. All my children and son in law see her as well. Makes it so easy and she is fantastic with Mr ADHD and also Mr Bipolar...although hard to get him there. I thoroughly recommend her and would not go to anyone else

Fantastic experience: Best service I have ever received from a dental practice. Tom and Hayley were marvellous and accommodating. Very friendly and helpful. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by the young lady on the reception. I would definitely recommend these guys as your next dental practice. I would give them 10 out 5 stars if possible!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a few years and my dentist kate is awesome. I also get my teeth cleaned and got them done from a different person named Muskan. She did a really good job, gave amazing advice to help keep my teeth clean and was really friendly. Recommended this place to all my friends and family will be a life time member.

Negative experience: I visited this dentist as a new client with one of their new client promos. I was charged double the correct check up price, and quoted $2,000 to replace all my fillings (all less than 15 years old) I have called and emailed twice regarding the overcharge, in which I have had no response or refund. I went to a different dentist to receive a second opinion and was told that my fillings were in fine condition and did not need to be replaced. Do not visit this dentists unless you want to be taken advantage of.

Fantastic experience: Visited Lumino today and found the team to be incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr Phebe was amazing, knowledgeable and empathetic. She invested a lot of effort into analysing my teeth and offered detailed insight into how I can improve my oral health. I'm so grateful for her expertise and compassion. The receptionist was also extremely helpful, kind and efficient. Great team all around. I normally feel anxious about visiting the dentist but the team here are so caring and immensely skilled - makes visiting the dentist a little less scary!

Fantastic experience: Have had some horrible experiences over the years with Dentists so I Thought I’d give Lumino a go. Phebe is amazing she is very kind and compassionate can’t thank her enough highly recommend

Negative experience: Had hygiene work done a few days ago. Currently have severe tonsillitis due to staff not keeping thing clean around the tonsils. Unable to swallow, eat, drink or talk. From the doctors, to the hospital to have tonsils drained, and being kept overnight. WONT BE RETURNING

Fantastic experience: My teeth were in an absolute shocking state prior to coming to Lumino after an accident a couple of years back and I've been very self conscious about my teeth ever since. Kate has been so fantastic to deal with and is a credit to you guys. She's done a great job ridding me of tooth ache, getting my dental health back on track and is a pleasure to deal with. Negative experience: Absolutely worse experience of my life, thousands spent here, failed me and my Denture requirements and now rendered usless. I have become that guy with no teeth now thanks for ruining my life guys. You only took my smile away.

Fantastic experience: I went to Lumino Chch City to extract two molar teeth. Dr. Arlidge was very professional and very friendly, so if you do have dental anxiety, i would say that the team at Chch City Lumino will make sure that you go through the process as well as you could have anticipated. But after your stitches have been removed i would recommend to complete a course of antibiotics prescribed, because i have had an infection already prior to extraction and after stitches were removed and got ill for 8 days and did need to go go through antibiotics. So Dr. Arlidge was 10/10.

Negative experience: I arrived for an appointment 10 minutes late due to traffic. I was told I would have to reschedule, which I accepted and did. While I was rescheduling another patient arrived late for an appointment saying the traffic was particularly bad. Her appointment was scheduled 5 minutes after mine. This client was directed to be seated for her appointment. I understand schedules need to be kept however I felt discriminated against and treated differently for exactly the same reason and time of lateness for an appointment. I wont be back to this clinic.

Negative experience: I have spent $500 for my tooth filing, and what I received was unbearable pain, loss of money, lots of medicines to get relief from that pain and tooth worse than before. When I asked for their assistance and revisited them, they told it was there mistake, they didn’t clean the tooth probably before filing, they didn’t even check my tooth, and gave me $3000 quote for further treatment. What the heck!! This is what doctors are.

Always accommodating, conscientious and friendly service. Both their equipment and practices are top of the line, leading to fantastic delivery of service. Both my Wife and I go to the CBD Lumino and I would recommend them to anyone looking for top quality dental care in Christchurch.

Fantastic experience: I hate needles and hearing the drills inside your mouth. I contemplated running away when I arrived. But Dr McCafferty and assistant were excellent. 98% was painless, I even had a wee snooze and felt so relaxed. Thank you so much to Lumino for the Carers day. I didn’t get to thank everyone for that day in May. It means so much to me as a full time carer. We really do neglect and put ourselves last. It's awesome for your team to give to people like us. I think the dental plan you have is an excellent idea and reasonable. It's a good way to keep your teeth in check. Thank you to everybody at the City branch, you have made my visit a peace of mind for me! I will be back along with friends and families.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've found. Dr Lesley explains everything, gives me options, goes the extra mile and is really friendly like she has all the time in the world for me. The practice in the CBD is modern and clean . Even better they do interest free finance

Fantastic experience: I had two wisdom teeth pulled out by Dr Lesley McCafferty and her assistant, and they were amazing! I am usually afraid of going to the dentist, but she made me feel really comfortable and made sure that I would not feel any pain before starting the procedure. They were really quick and it was over within 10 minutes. Moreover they continued to follow up with me to make sure that I was recovering perfectly. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Brigitte is an amazing dentist. I hadn’t been in many years and was very anxious about going in due to health issues affecting my teeth. She made me feel so so calm, it was practically pain free and I’ve had no issues since (I got 11 fillings). My mum goes to her too now and many of my colleagues are now going to her and also raving about her.
