Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful staff. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned.

Negative experience: I had a consult here and left feeling very disappointed. Tony was arrogant and dismissive, acting like he knew everything and wasn’t open to listening. He talked about boats the whole time. Boats that he clearly can’t afford. He was so weird. He only cares about money and he is desperate for business and makes that obvious. There are way better dentists out there. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Run. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for honest, patient-focused dental advice.

Fantastic experience: The team at Custom Street Dentist are amazing. From the get go - staff were super kind and welcoming. Dr Tony took the time to be genuinely interested in conversation and ensuring that I was understood in what I was hoping to get out of appointment, had a real 'Cup half full' attitude which made things so much nicer, and educated me on all the things as he went so I didn't feel in the dark but confident what the plan of attack was. Super appreciative of the experience, would highly recommend Custom Street Dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: From the first consultation to the last, Tony and his team were absolutely wonderful and extremely professional throughout my veneers journey. Naturally, I was a bit nervous for each appointment/procedure, and Tony’s skill and expertise really showed through the detailed way in which he answered my questions and alleviated any concerns. I am absolutely ecstatic with the end result (incredibly natural looking veneers and truly tailor made for me) and would recommend Tony to anyone looking to take their teeth from meh to WOW.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit with Aline recently, and it was an excellent experience. From the start, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease with her friendly bedside manner. She genuinely cared about how I was doing through the process and was sure to keep me informed every step of the way. Fantastic experience: I live out of Auckland, so being able to have a virtual consultation to start the ball rolling, was great. This provided me with alot of information before committing to make the trip for an in person visit. The facility is nice and bright, clean and has wonderful staff I have just started a journey for procleain veneers and I'm so excited for the final result

Fantastic experience: Had been putting off going to the dentist due to a bad experience a while back but so happy I chose to see Dr Catherine at CSD!! she was very personable and informative with what I needed to have done and easy to approach with any questions I had. The treatment itself was quick and painless and she and her staff made me feel so comfortable and cared for! Would definitely recommend Catherine to all of my friends and family

Negative experience: Unfortunately I am not happy with my Hygienist visvit yesterday! When I went home I found the surfaces of my teeth still (brown)..I knew that whiting for the hygiene cleaning visit is not gonna be 100℅... But at least tried to clean for me? I don't think my hygienist did that! Super disappointed!! Also when I finished need pay bill there was nobody at front desk at all! I was waiting for 5 mins! Maybe I should just straight walked out the door ?? Even when one of the receptionist finally showed up NO apology from her what so ever!! Even I paid with southern cross insurance still my money ok? Pleas respect your client for using southern cross and really delivered the money worth service plaease!! The hygiene cleaning still costed me $199 dollars!! Really DISAPPOINTED! I will NOT be back here again and do not recommended !!

Tony is very personable and is serves the best interest for his clients - he talks about pricing openly and provides a plan on what you could expect when starting your treatments. It was so helpful to know what things cost and to set up payment plans that suit my financial affordability. Tony is just awesome! Rebbeca at reception is super helpful and kind! The staff here are incredible.

Fantastic experience: Had teeth cleaning by Elysia and was super happy with results. Not very painful and very friendly atmosphere.

Negative experience: I went for a dental cleaning. They started the cleaning at the first appointment, left it halfway and asked me to come back later. I went later and they finished it in two visits. I paid the money before starting the first visit. They asked me for money again the second visit. However, I had agreed on a total of 200 dollars for the cleaning. When they asked me to come back later, I did not think that I would pay another 200 dollars and they did not inform me about this. What they did is not right and is misleading the customer and gaining an unfair advantage.

They were thorough but gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I was impressed with the technology they used - it made the whole experience much more comfortable and efficient. My teeth feel incredibly clean and my gums feel healthy. Overall, a great experience at Custom St Dentist. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist in the city.

Negative experience: I have done my veneers and two bridges here and I’m not HAPPY and not satisfied with work done by Tony either .i do not Recommend to anyone who what to do veneers and bridges here in this clinic. Reception and Dentist dr Tony both are disappointed for me. About receptionist: The receptionist has no communication with dr at all and she over charged me for every visit which shouldn’t and all the charge was included to the deal we made with Tony. I was so lucky that I have checked my bank and saw it otherwise they never tells you about surgarge or anything which is very very disappointing. The receptionist told me that there is no car park for this clinic outside and she said to me park in a car park station and then you get refund for it but that’s wrong she didn’t refund me anything at all. There is surcharged when you pay with pay wave that I didnt know even the receptionist didn’t tell me or they didn’t have any stickers to say there is surcharge for pay wave and I got charged a lot . It took almost two weeks to get my half refund from this clinic which is unprofessional at all. About dentist My veneers and bridges has been done by him and I’m really not satisfied at all and not happy either. The veneers and bridges are way bigger and bigger then my normal teeth and way way out of my mouth which looks so ugly. Still have problem with bitting but the dentist doesn’t care and he does not listen to anyway. He is happy and satisfied what he has done but I’m as customer not happy and satisfied because my smile and everything is damaged and it’s too big and I have to look for another dentist to take these out and re do me another veneers. I have spoken with few other dentist and they can’t believe this has been done with a dentist and says this can be done way way better then this. I have lots of things to say but don’t have time Just say stay away from this clinic if you want to put veneers and bridges I rate NO STAR at all

Fantastic experience: I’m usually not one to rave about dental treatments or visits, as all my previous experiences have not been positive. Dental anxiety and my experience with a not-so-well-mannered dentist or hygienist had made me rather reluctant to keep up with regular check-ins and visits. The last hygiene visit I had at another clinic left me in tears and with ongoing teeth sensitivity for a month. Thus, I had been on a hunt for a less invasive or gentle cleaning process, which led me to Customs Street Dentist. When I first walked into my appointment, I was rather nervous, but Jigisha Patel was incredibly empathic and kind. She listened to all my concerns, put me at ease, and walked me through the cleaning steps throughout the appointment. She checked in often to ensure I was as comfortable as possible and was not in any pain. At the end of the appointment, there was only some slight discomfort, but nothing too serious. This had been hands down the best hygiene visit I've had in my life. Thank you, Jigisha, for your kindness and gentle approach. I’ll see you again in a couple of months.

Not only did I feel like I was overcharged for the treatment, but I also experienced a lot of pain during the procedure. Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at Custom St Dentist. My father had an airflow hygiene appointment with Jigisha and was extremely happy with the service. She was very gentle and did an excellent job leaving the teeth feeling great. The lady at reception was friendly and making the booking online was easy. My previous dental visit, which occurred two years ago, was an agonizing experience that led me to avoid dental appointments whenever possible. However, with Jigisha, the process was painless, and her diligent work was evident. After the session, my mouth felt so different that even my tongue struggled to recognize it. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to the Customer Street Dentist for another comfortable and satisfying experience.

Fantastic experience: Today was my 1st visit at customs street dentist for a short hygiene cleaning appointment. Had Elysia as my OHT and she was very friendly and helpful. She explained what can cause teeth staining and ways to prevent it. She was also very helpful and had patience with answering a lot of my questions. The cleaning was also very comfortable and the results were very effective. It was the best hygiene appointment I’ve ever had. Thanks!

Negative experience: I am hoping that writing this review will save another person going through this experience. I had fully done my research and believed I had found the best place for my porcelain veneers. The list is endless of things that went wrong that I have already addressed with the practice 6 days ago and still had no reply. The consultation I had to start with was very good so I felt I had made the right choice. However, I now have sensitive teeth due to the improper whitening product being used on my bottom teeth which I was over charged for. (I was ensured at my consultation that this would not happen) I have had to go through additional appointments, pain and stress due to a faulty veneer being fitted on my front tooth (another 1 hour of constant drilling to remove this) I had yellow 2 week temp. teeth fitted for 2 weeks (photo attached) when removing these they will use a hammer to smash them off. But worst of all is customer service and the aftercare, there is practically none. Do not expect to get an answer to any questions or any pain you may be in as the receptionist is off for 2 days (photo attached) During this process I lost confidence in the practice so sought a second opinion from another cosmetic dentist who was actually appalled at the service I had experienced here who confirmed the veneer that was fitted was sub standard. So my advice is definitely look elsewhere as this as only some of the things that went wrong.

Fantastic experience: Today I had Catherine. Haven't been to the dentist in 10yrs as I had a very bad experience well this time it was good She was lovely very understanding. I do have to go back as I need more work done but this is at a low cost and understanding as my teeth need a bit more work on . She did a quote on spot which gives me the time to budget. As I have 8 children good pricing and also very handy if u don't want to drive in and just catch the train. Cost me 5 dollars their and back instead of driving and traffic. 1 minutes walk from britomart train station. All round a good experience

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Customs St dentist, before I got my teeth done I did my research & got quotes from a number of different orthodontist the solution Tony & his team provided was not only the shortest time for aligners it was also extremely user friendly & you were able to track your progress from your smart phone not to mention reasonably priced. Their veneers are hand made as well so the end result looked very natural. Tony’s advanced dentistry technology made this experience easy & affordable I had a new smile in just 6 months.
