Fantastic experience: Dr. Uday Kasture is an excellent specialist. I had a root canal treatment done by him in 2001, and it’s still going strong after all these years. His expertise and advice have been outstanding throughout.

Negative experience: Ridiculous. Waited 6 months for wisdom teeth removal under anaesthesia (which the practice manager told me they could do) just to be blindsided on the day and say they were doing it under local, a proper (qualified!) surgeon told me they would have messed up and caused a lot of trauma! Needed to be done under general. Drove up to Auckland and got it done the next week by professionals. Save your money!!

Fantastic experience: I've been to many dentists over 4 decades around New Zealand and found the team at M Dental, and especially Manasi and Dr Uday most professional, reassuring, very knowledgeable and extremely good at giving the right advice and genuine pain free treatment for crown replacement, tooth extraction and general fillings. Highly recommended to anyone of any age.

Negative experience: Poor communication and info giving, after booking and waiting for ages to see someone, we were told we had to go through the school and that they could not see us. They had every opportunity to give us this info over the phone but did not unfortunately.

Negative experience: Was quoted around $3000 more than what another dentist offered for the same work. The dentist at M Dental was rude, rough and not up to what you’d expect

Positive experience: I have had extensive work done at Dental M and I must say I’m very happy with the results. Their high tech approach combined with a dentist who is very good at his profession contribute greatly to their success.

Fantastic experience: The team at M dental are awesome. Highly recommend. Probably the smoothest and most skilled dentist I've been to. I've had a fair amount of work done (didn't take care of my teeth as a young adult) and I've never had any pain or issues. All my fillings fit well with no issues. I'll keep going back while I live in Palmerston North. Cheers guys for the great service.

Negative experience: In 2018, I paid for a permanent filling and did not get a permanent filling. Instead, M Dental charged me for temporary filling without my agreement. They booked for second session for permanent filling. Therefore the cost went from expected $300 to near $600. Next time I very specifically wrote "permanent filling in one session" in the appointment message. But again, on 5/8/2020, M Dental did a temporary filling instead of permanent filling without my knowledge, discussion, or agreement. Temporary filling requires me to book an extra session for permanent filling. Again, cost went from expected $300 to $600. I went to book to a different dentist. I requested for full refund else I would escalate the issue to be reviewed by the Dental Council. They agreed for a full refund at the end. They wrote an email to me to give them more time to do the paperwork for refund. After almost 1 week, M Dental did not refund, instead wrote a letter of explanation which has lies and contradictions. They say that the cavity was too close to the nerve, therefore they had no choice but to do temporary filling for the tooth to heal. When the reason they gave me first was to see if abscess develops, without any mention of close to the nerve. During the disputes with Dental Council, They omit the messages, do not disclose the full communication that was done through their website. They lie that we had discussion, that I had been informed, when in fact, they had filled the tooth with temporary filling (dressing) instead of permanent filling, and charged me for that temporary filling $295 in the first session, only to tell me to come again for permanent filling for $285. Now I am dealing with M Dental through the Dispute Tribunal.

Fantastic experience: Very fast efficient and worked around my busy life/work schedule. Pricing not too bad considering would recommend.

From the beginning as a new patient, the communication from the team was excellent right from booking an appointment to following up after an tooth extraction. The team at M Dental are very friendly and professional, backed up by modern facilities and equipment.

Negative experience: Very expensive place and initially they will tell a low fees..once the procedure is done they will charger a higher price. Not recommended

Negative experience: Seems like a dodgy place..the fees which they told us during consultation and the actual amount after the procedure is almost doubled...not recommended.

Fantastic experience: The whole team is great and every procedure I have had done has gone well with excellent results.

Negative experience: I would shop around before committing to any work from this dentist. I went in to speak about composite veneers - I was told I would need 8 fillings, bleaching and hygienist (fair enough on the hygenist) first - all without taking any x rays and charging me $90 to tell me so. I have since had a thorough check up and consultation with another dentist - complete with 3 x rays - no fillings required - not one. Dentist speaks to you then sends you down the hall to speak to the lady that deals with the costs who writes them down on a scrap of waste paper. Really poor service and wouldn't recommend them at all.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend M dental, I have had many bad experiences at other dental clinics over the years. I booked my consultantion based on the Google reviews I was impressed from the moment I walked in. Today I walked out with a smile I'm proud of (and we not even finnsihed yet) I cant thank the team enough for making me fell at ease and taking such great care. Happy to say I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in 2 week .

Fantastic experience: I am hugely grateful to all the staff at M Dental for putting me at ease. I am not the bravest about dentists but the whole experience was really good and not painful at all. Dr Uday is wonderful and clearly very skilled.

Fantastic experience: To say that I am grateful to Uday, Manasi and the support team at M Dental is an understatement. For too long I have had a history of poor dental health and low-standard dentistry, so finding M Dental has literally been life changing. I have undergone dental implants, and as such I am now able to live a full and normal life. On top of that, I no longer cover my mouth when I smile. Hence, if you are considering a new dental practice to address your dental needs I highly recommend M Dental.

Fantastic experience: All the dental staff that I dealt with - the dental hygienist, the dentist's assistant, and the dentist himself - were excellent. They took the time to put me at ease in a professional and welcoming way, and finished the work efficiently and with very minimal pain or discomfort. I might have spent a little more going here than at other places but I don't regret it at all, and have no reservations in going back or recommending this clinic to others.

Positive experience: I went for my first visit ever to Mdental last week based on their five star reviews here on google I felt confident in my choice, even though they were the most expensive out of three dentists I contacted in Palmerston North ($155 for general scaling/polishing appointment). The staff where very friendly and kind and immediately put me at ease. The dentist was very gentle (normally I find scaling to be quite painful). I felt however that my appointment (20mins) was very short considering the cost and I was disappointed to see when I got home the dentist had missed some staining between my bottom front teeth. I am not sure what the norm in NZ is anymore (I have been living overseas for the last few years) but expected the appointment to be around an hour.

Fantastic experience: I love M Dental, it is the friendliest and most caring Dental surgery I have EVER attended. Im so grateful to Dr. Uday for all his amazing work and after quite a few horror stories at my previous dentist I can finally say I have found the one and ONLY dental practice I will ever go too!
