Fantastic experience: Just visited Dentist on Shakespeare for the first time on the recommendation of my husband who’s been a patient there for years, and am so happy with the service from Mickey and his lovely team. Such a warm welcoming environment from the moment you step in. I was quite nervous, after having a bad experience elsewhere in the past, but Mickey was calm and gentle, and communicated everything so well that I was put to ease right away. He discussed all the options with me, explained everything in an easy to understand manner, and I really felt listened to and looked after. Glad to have found someone I can trust with my oral health, and have already booked a return visit. Cannot recommend Mickey and the team enough. Thank you for your care.

Fantastic experience: I switched to Dentist on Shakespeare about three years ago when I felt my previous dentists had a bit of a "she'll be right" attitude when it came to my teeth. DOS have been fantastic and thorough each time I've visited so I'm very pleased that I made the change. I also appreciate that they do Easy Claim with Southern Cross so I don't have to fill out claim/reimbursement forms through SC.

Fantastic experience: Extremely professional practice with amazing service!! I got 6 composite veneers and cant believe how amazing they look and how confident I feel with my new smile. A big thank you to Mickey Zhou and his amazing assistant for being friendly, professional and such perfectionists. 10/10 recommend!! Fantastic experience: Just had a terrific experience at Dentist on Shakespeare ... 3 sessions for root canal treatment - so I was, as you might imagine, a little bit anxious. But I needn't have been. Mickey walked me through the procedure answering any questions carefully and thoughtfully. The experience in the chair was without fault: good communication throughout so I knew how we were tracking, relatively pain free, very little discomfort and above all a very successful outcome. Thank you Mickey and all at DOS.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent experience at this practice. Felt very welcome and relaxed as soon as I came through the door, the front desk staff were so friendly and chatty. Had some work done by Mickey to fix shape and colour of one of my front teeth which had been an issue for a number of years. Mickey did such a good job, I absolutely love the end result. Also had a clean and polish done by the hygienist, Kendall. Kendall did a thorough job without causing any pain or discomfort at all, and left my mouth feeling sparkling clean. Big thank you to the whole team. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist ever!!!! Mickey has done amazing work for both myself having braces and my husband having many tricky fillings. He is thorough with his care, patient when things are tough and the most gentle dentist ive ever seen- pain is not his game! The receptionists and dental aids are second to none with their beautiful phone and seat-side manner and we always have a laugh whenever i am booked for a visit. Fantastic experience: Just came back from the dentist for a dental clean. Lyn is very patient and friendly. She cleaned my teeth first with powered cleaning tool for a while, then switched to manual cleaning tool for quite a while too. Then she showed me on my teeth how to use the floss teeth properly. Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dentist on Shakespeare. I had treatment from the owner, Mickey Zhou and the Hygienist Lynn. Both made me feel super comfortable and relaxed (I’m one of those nervous patients that’s needs some form of sedation every visit..) and I was very impressed with their modern, clean clinic and the general vibe of the place. Mickey communicated clearly what my issues were, the numerous options available for me to rectify those issues and helped me chose which options best suited my needs with a timeline in place and a written report to follow. I’ve had extensive dental work in the past (8 root canals, plus) and I am fussy with who I will go to. A friend recommended Mickey to me and am glad I trusted her advice (she’s fussy like me). Mickey is a kind, gentle and thorough dentist that I will stay with and who I will refer my family and friends to without hesitation.

Genuinely wants to help people to keep their teeth healthy over the long term, and didn't cost me as much I as I thought it would to fix some of my teeth that I had left neglected for too long. He explains everything so well to you and goes out of his way to help. My girlfriend has been using him for years and tracked him down when he moved to Dentist on Shakespeare as she only wanted to use him and I can see why. Could not recommend him enough. 5 stars!

Positive experience: i would like to say thank you to Jo and her team for a wonderful job in restoring my teeth back to a great smile, and better than ever before, particularly with my two new bridges that Jo created with brand new teeth included, as i did not expect this was possible from old stumpy teeth. Positive experience: Docters are gentle and really healpfull

Negative experience: Beware.... My wife had a horrible experience. Went in to have a filling replaced at 350 dollars. Dentist told her she would raise the filling slightly to take the pressure off (no mention of price). Then was charged an extra 1000 dollars on top of the filling. My wife then could not chew as her jaw was out of alignment and was told she needs to come back and spend another 1000 dollars to raise the other side. This was for preventative work only, no costs were given and we feel tricked into getting treatment we would not have agreed to if it was discussed first. Dentist then apologized for not getting proper consent for the procedure. However it will now be the 5th visit and jaw pains persist, as well as being out of pocket thousands for work that was never wanted. Will never go back. Beware they can trick you out of a lot of money. Also identical experience of someone else on yelp reviews.
