Negative experience: Dr Bentley is very rude and terrible, put the filling on my decaying teeth without cleaning the decay part, what the point of put the temprory filling without my permission and charge me $450, just because I refused him to take one of my teeth with a little root infection but no symptoms and can be preserved? being a doctor can not be so greedy which makes me feel gross, you need to think about the budget of your customer. and I have been in new Zealand for ten years never been treated like so rude as a patient, he was so arrogant and asked me what kind of language I speak, and use chapgpt to translate it, use this tricky way to avoid any normal communications between doctor and patient, I was standing next to him 10 minutes and he was just ignoring me and facing the screen and clicking on the computer keyboard, and after a while, show me the translated page without talking, he was sitting there and asked me look at it by myself, if I came up with a question, it will be come on if you don't understand English you don't even understand Chinese?? hehe deprived any chance I can question about my treatment, mad me feel bad why I can not understand him because I am not native English speaker. Years ago, when I first came to your clinic, because your passionate Japanese receptionist welcomed me and relieved my discomfort, I visited this places a few times, last time you did perfect filling for right bottom teeth, and not capable to take out my wisdom teeth because it's a surgery, and refered me to Dr. Ross, he did a great job. but this time the experience is totally under 0, I don't know why changed so much, no welcome at all in the beginning, it's just a filling not a surgery,you use material to cover my decayed teeth, I was not in a pain at all till now when I found it had a small crack last week, so I gave you plenty time to clean the decayed parts, when the first time you see the cracking on my teeth, you should let me know you are decided to clean my decayed part or not, which I think that's the basic part of a dentist. it's like when you see some rubbish around you, you just swept everything underneath the sofa, try to make it zipped and covered it?!?! next time you think I will come to let you open the filling and cleaning decayed part again to make more money? that's how you make your patient come and see you twice? that's ridiculous. you laughed at my upper teeth filling and thought it's been made in China, but unfortunately it's been filled in Auckland, and I was quite happy because it's was a emergency and she cleaned the decayed part carefully and it lasted years already, if it needs replacement I am happy to pay for that, that teeth filling existing is not to make you feel superior to others. It's been such a horrible experience here, and Dr. Bentley is so racist, you couldn't do wisdom teeth surgery with high risk, and refered me to some one else, but also can not do a proper filling to normal teeth which surprised me a lot, I am so regretted to trust you again, next time your receptionist can tell patient directly in the phone, $350 for a filling is the price to attracks you here, when you come on the site and tell you that's the minimum price and no treatment no cleaning the decayed part but sealing it charge you $450, if you want to have a proper filling at least you need come twice and pay the price twice, otherwise the dentist will seal my decayed teeth and let the root get infectious which now is not and let it cause bigger problem, spend more money and blame me it's my own problem because I didn't brush more than 2 times a day. that's ridiculous if everyone has very good teeth cleaning habits why need dentist, I come here for treatment not blame. what a trap and scam, am I still in New Zealand?? is anyone can let me know is there any dental association in NZ or consumer protection I can disclose it?

Me dijo que estaba ok la muela del juicio dos días después tuve que ir a otro dentista de argentina muy buena que trabaja en lumino de frankton. Los dentistas neozelandés no estudian y no saben nada vayan a la universidad. Y tengan ética profesional. Pésimo lugar

Fantastic experience: Had a dental problem while traveling from Canada. I knew I was being “fit in” to his busy schedule, yet Nick took all the time needed to treat my immediate issue and more. My trust built quickly based on his manner and approach; he took his time, explained all of his actions and share his knowledge along the way. I was totally impressed and thankful for his help and competent service.

Fantastic experience: I could not be more impressed. This is top quality dental care, with really good values underpinning the treatment. Nick takes great care with pain relief, and takes the time needed to fully explain the treatment options. He was able to effectively and inexpensively address some cosmetic chips to my front teeth without the need for veneers or anything that compromised the natural tooth. He has also provided expert treatment of some bigger, more complex dental issues. Strongly recommended.

They are an awesome team that always make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the dentist was honest and straight forward. 5/5 - would drill again.

Negative experience: Nicholas Bentley, Dentist BEWARE! I made my appointment for, a simple teeth clean, I paid up front, had my 'free' check-up 'included'. He then told me to take some antibiotics, come back in for my clean. A few months later when I emailed to book the clean I paid for, I was told I never paid for it.. went through my bank acc, yep I did! Then out of nowhere, I receive an invoice, dated months ago for 'consultation, including radiographs and special tests' charges that where never discussed, agreed, whispered or even hinted, Book a simple clean, Nicholas will literally, put you in a chair, take some pics for 30mins & charge you for whatever he has dreamt up that day.

Fantastic experience: I have to say this is the Best Dentist in Queenstown and I’d go as far as to say best dentist I’ve ever been to. I had two emergency procedures done here, one for a broken filling on my back tooth and another for two chipped front teeth. Both were done expertly, with full briefing, explanation and advice. The chips were on my front teeth and you literally can’t tell I’ve had anything done. Very clean practice and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Nick was just great. My father had to go to a dentist on Saturday due to severe toothache. I hadn't expected to get an appointment on a Saturday and within a short time. Nick took a lot of time, explained everything in detail and slowly and helped my father quickly and without pain. In retrospect, they were even asked by telephone about his condition and a long report including pictures was prepared for the dentist in our country. Great service! Thanks nick!

Fantastic experience: During a motoring trip around the South Is. I lost a crown off a back molar. I was referred to Wakatipu Dental Centre who were totally supportive and extended their day to fit me in. Nicholas proved to be a most thorough and competent dentist. He was able to make temporary repairs until I could return to Australia and sent Xrays and reports to my local dentist. I can highly recommend Nick and his friendly staff.

Negative experience: Very poor experience. When I told the dentist I had a lot of work done in another country because of a big price difference he got very annoyed and started to share how some dentist refuse people who go to see a dentist in another country. He made it obvious he didn't want to treat me so I felt obligated to walk out.

Fantastic experience: VISITOR IN DISTRESS Knight in shining armour came to my rescue in the form of Nicholas Bentley Dental Surgeon at Wakatipu Dental Centre. I had a broken bridge no teeth at top of my mouth I could not eat and was in total meltdown. This dentist in his calm quiet way calmed me down, repaired the broken bridge, he did a fantastic job, I feel normal again and bliss, can eat again. So pleased , thank you Mr Bentley.

Fantastic experience: Emergency dental treatment. I was recently on a driving holiday in New Zealand and developed a severe dental pain. I wa referred to the Wakapitu dental centre and I was fortunate to get a same day appointment. Nick took me through the options as one of my teeth had died and his guidance enabled me to make the correct decision. The treatment was excellent and the X-rays and photos of the work were sent to me for the follow up work required by my dentist in. Canada. I would highly recommend Nick and the practice for any dental work.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank you enough for helping me in what was a dire situation when my temporary crown installed by my regular dentist in Honolulu broke in half during my vacation to New Zealand. I appreciate you squeezing me into your busy schedule under such short notice and for doing a terrific job. The interim material held up very well and it allowed me to enjoy my holiday. My local dentist was able to remove the material and put the final cap in place. You are an excellent dentist with great patient interaction and I could easily see that you run a very professional practice. If I lived in Queenstown you would be my dentist for many years.

Nick supported me with a cracked tooth and its eventual extraction, making sure that I understood exactly what was going on and explaining everything in detail so that I could chose the right treatment. When the tooth cracked before I could get it extracted, I was able to come in and have it examined free of charge. Fantastic experience: Best dentist experience ever! I cannot recommend Nicholas Bentley and his professional and friendly team enough. They made my visits to get wisdom teeth removed seem like a trip to the grocery store. And this coming from me, who used to be absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. The procedures and the care you receive after treatments is the best I have received or heard of. The very professional yet also personal and individual care is great. So after trying to ignore my dental needs for about 10 years, I am finally catching up and getting it all done. It's never too late!

Fantastic experience: Ich bin rundum begeistert von der clinic, von nick und seinem team! Auf meiner fünfwöchigen NZ Reise hat es meine zahnwurzel erwischt, an einem samstag! Nick hat sich mit mir innerhalb von 2 stunden nach meinem anruf in der (wunderschönen) klinik getroffen, hat die ursache meiner schmerzen schnell festgestellt und eine zahnwurzelbehandlung durchgeführt. Alles war super professionell, entspannt und sehr freundlich und herzlich! Auf reisen ist so eine situation völlig unerwünscht, ich habe ihm jedoch sofort vertraut, dass die schmerzen damit weg sind u wir weiterfahren können. Und so war es auch . Fantastic experience: I visited for my son"s check up the other day. He was a bit scared on the beginning as it was first time to go there, but all the staff were friendly and kind. They showed him Japanese anime on the screen during the check up so that he can feel comfortable. I asked Nicolas about something my teeth as well, and he answered kindly.We will definitely come back here again!

Fantastic experience: I find what is written by Clinton extremely hard to believe, given the notion that he hasn't taken the time to identify the person responsible for his wife's traumatic experience... I however have a rosy experience having received emergency surgery during a 2 hour continuous period and quite honestly can say that this was the most enjoyable dental experience I have ever had. In beginning such a process you can not stop once started so even though I had my fears of the 'dreaded dental chair', the service, kind heartedness and explanation given while guiding me through the procedure resulted in satisfaction and peace of mind to say the least, money well spent! Having had many dental visits all over the world i.e China, Australia, New Zealand and the USA during my years of tooth decay, I am smiling some what in a way I haven't for years as my headaches have subsided given that pesky tooth is no longer a problem... Fantastic experience: Had my appointment with Nick last week and found him to be extremely polite and very gentle. He was great at explaining what he was doing as the consultation progressed and made me feel as ease. He has also given me plenty of information on future work I need to get done with some great advice on how to prepare for dental surgery. Nick also followed up with a phone call offering more support regarding medical cover options which is above and beyond the normal service I have had from dentists.
