Fantastic experience: Thank you to Luke and the team for all the support they show me. I have neurological difficulties that show up almost exclusively at the dentist and Luke is amazing how it doesn't phase him and he does his best to understand and make me comfortable. The whole team are very understanding but especially Luke, my last dentist was afraid to treat me and that made it hard for me to go to another dentist but I have been at Hibiscus dental for a few years now and not once did they make me feel bad about the added effort required.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Steve and Jane for 25 + years. I travel 130km to see them as they are absolutely worth it. Steve looks at the whole picture and gives me choices. Personally I choose to have high quality work that will see me through. He is methodical, thorough and a good person. Jane is the best hygienist! She is absolutely thorough and passionate about her career. She is very friendly, bubbly and just an amazing person. Jane has recently acquired an amazing cleaning tool (Airflow one) which has cleaned my teeth like never before, inspiring me to chip away everyday to keep my gums in top shape and teeth incredibly sparkly. I also purchased some Queen of Clean dental floss that Jane used and recommended. It's the floss for me! It takes a little bit of getting use to as I have tight contact points but I'm used to it after having practiced for a week. If it's difficult to pull back out I just pull the floss through. It does an absolutely thorough job. All the staff are very friendly and they don't support staff bullying. I know this because I asked! They have recently updated their reception / waiting room so it's very clean and current with calming colours. I whole heartedly recommend them. Top job! Any advice I can give is have an annual exam and clean and have any issues addressed. That way you will less likely run into problems like root canals.

Fantastic experience: Tom is professional, friendly and I feel safe leaving my dental health in his capable hands. I feel like his goal is my dental health, instead of maximising costly procedures like I've had from some dentists in the past. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Had my first hygienist appointment with Jane, she is absolutely amazing by far the best hygienist I’ve ever had! Made sure I was comfortable the whole time, explained the process! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! :)

Fantastic experience: I can't speak more highly about the professionalism, care & skills experienced by both my daughter & I, during several visits to HBC Dental. Luke Prangley' skills/workmanship, & chair side manner is what drew me to returning. The admin staff are all very lovely too.

Fantastic experience: Luke is one of, if not the best dentist I've ever been to.

Negative experience: Hate to go against the grain here but went in for filling. Receptionist had said cost would be 270 up but turned out well up past that. Main grouch is that before and after the pain killer we had idle chit chat for well over 15 mins inc waiting for it to act. After the filling I asked what the rest of the teeth were like and was told that I would have to come for another appointment for that. In the past, the dentist's have done a pick and poke during those wasted 10 mins, why don't they do that here? (I would have been happy to pay for an X Ray. Typically fillings for me have been about 15 mins, this one filling took near 30) Only one conclusion to that question. No wonder people put off the dentist's in NZ with this type of process now. In the past I have been able to get a lot of dental work done in Asia, mostly Thailand which I can recommend. I will continue in the future based on this visit

Fantastic experience: Every staff member I've encountered here has been incredible. The reception ladies are lovely, both hygienists I've seen were amazing, and Tom has been the best dentist I've seen in my entire life. Super professional, knowledgeable, he explains what he's doing and why, and even seems to make the work less painful than it normally would be. 10/10 recommend

Negative experience: If you want to waste money on procedures you DON’T NEED this is the perfect place to book. Didn’t fix the issue and saved $1000 down the road.

Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of Hibiscus Coast Dental. From the reception staff who are always so friendly and efficient to the hygienists Katie and Jane (that look after me) who are also lovely and very, very good at what they do. And finally Dr Stephen Treble is an amazing dentist ; very knowledgeable and highly skilled in the fields of cosmetic dentistry (for myself) and orthodontics for my daughter. Not only is the professionalism second to none at this clinic, so is the service; Stephen even met me on his day off and travelled some distance from his home to the clinic where I met him to do a repair on a temporary veneer - I was blown away and extremely grateful. Thankyou to all of you for making us feel very safe in your hands!

Fantastic experience: I have the best dentist there is. Tom makes u feel relaxed,doesnt beat around the Bush with what can b done n what should b done. Understand about where I am coming from n has seen me with an appointment cause I was in so much pain plus hes always good 4 a laugh but I still think the tv on ceiling needs 2 move n b on a beta channel haha oh n the Staff r friendly funny n very kind aswell. I enjoy n look 4ward 2 goin everytime

Fantastic experience: It was my first time to a dentist in 5+years, and Hibiscus Coast Dental made it a very memorable visit! Tom my dentist made me feel relaxed, comfortable and like I was in professional, knowledgeable hands. The test was detailed and explained well. My next visit was with the hygienist- she was absolutely lovely!! Made me laugh and I felt again, that I was in good hands. She also explained everything in detail before going through with it and continuously checked in to make sure I was ok. I would 100% recommend this dentist to anyone and will be!! Fantastic experience: Hi guys just a refferal from a great experience. Dr Stephen Treble from Hibiscus Coast Dentist on Red Beach Road. I would go as far to say he is the best dentist that we have ever dealt with i personally feel he is Ocd in his process which is what you want when someone is dealing with your health. If you looking for a new dentist look him up i cannot rate him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Hibiscus Coast Dental provides the best care and service in a nice environment, I have been with Hibiscus Coast Dental for almost 3 years getting my braces done and find each staff member to be very friendly, professional and the bonus they provide a great environment even if I have my 1 years old wriggling on my lap while getting my teeth checked, her now being 3 has attended many appointments and they have been very patient. You leave Hibiscus Coast Dental knowing you have had great service each time. I highly recommend them and Stephen Treble my orthodontist for the exceptional work he has done on my teeth over the last couple of years. Thank you Hibiscus Coast Dental.

Negative experience: friendly however the filling job wasnt very good i now have to have two teeth redone.other than that they were friendly
