Fantastic experience: Amazing team in Ellerslie! I can honestly say I had there the best experiences regarding teeth treatments. Dr. Aditi is straight forward with her approach but still giving all the freedom of choice. I always got all the explanations I needed and the treatments were very gentle and professional. Dr. Monty is a very forthcoming and compassionate person. I had only very good experiences with the whole team at the Ellerslie Lumino branch. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my dental friend in CHCH to see Dr. Monty. We are now in Auckland. Dr. Monty is an expert as a dentist. I am most amazed that he helped my mum in urgent dental care on our first visit even though he was fully booked, he is very gentle, and patient and puts care of the patient as his core service. We will register DR. Monty as our regular dentist here. The staff here are all very friendly and welcoming, the price is affordable. Highly recommend it to everyone who needs complex dental care. My mum visited Dr. Monty recently, he is always very busy because of his excellent service and professionalism. He is very kind, the treatment is high quality at a reasonable price. You would never regret to see him for dental treatment. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very satisfied with the friendly and professional service. The friendly team at Lumino Ellerslie went out of their way to accommodate me last week when I had a dental emergency. They explained everything to me in detail and continually updated me on the situation and what they believe the best course of action should be. I am truly thankful for the professional way in which my case was handled, which helped make the whole process so much less stressful.

Negative experience: Really didn’t enjoy my experience at this dental clinic. During my appointment the dentist left the door wide open the entire appointment, there were staff and customers walking past the door while my mouth was being examined, it felt really insensitive. I also booked a 75 minute slot to have some work done, we covered off one tooth for first 30mins, i asked about another and the dentist told me three times within just a few sentences that she didn’t have time to do anything and I needed to come back. I felt like I was just a number and considering it can cost hundreds and/or thousands of dollars to have dental work done, this is not where I would like to spend my money.

Fantastic experience: Dr Monty removed my tooth a few weeks ago for orthodontic treatment. I was quite nervous with the whole thing but it was done so efficiently and painlessly (only felt the pain with the anaesthetic needle which is normal). When he told me it was done I was shocked as the Tooth extraction took less than 5 minutes and I didn't feel any discomfort. I took only one panadol that day but didn't feel any pain the day after so forgot to take subsequent pain relief. I have had tooth extractions in the past and had good experience with all the previous dentist but this is by far one of the best experience! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of dentists and everytime I have to go to a dental practice, I become super anxious. So when I broke a tooth, needless to say, I was panicking really bad. The team at Gentle Dentists were amazing. Dr Taryn made me feel really at ease and helped me with my broken tooth. Manjula made me feel very comfortable and helped ease my nerves. Thank you team and I will be seeing you all again :)

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist practice. I have had problems in the past with previous dentist practices so I have a bit of PTSD with going for check ups however this clinic makes me feel so comfortable and are so genuine. Monty the dentist at Ellerslie has helped me with wire problems (I've had braces) and overall gum health. I highly recommend going to this practice.

Negative experience: I came to this dental 03 months ago for hygienist visit. I had to wait more than 30 minutes for my appointment. I paid the full fee for the appointment. Then my second appointment was 29/05/21. I was late 10 minutes due to the heavy traffic. I informed them that I will be late by 10 minutes. When I came I had my appointment for only around 45 minutes. (They can verify this by looking at cameras) and charged me full amount $180 for the visit. (I am a Southern Cross member, hence 5% off) When I booked via online for my first appointment website indicated that only new patients need to pay full price. However, it is ok to me if they did full 01 hour cleaning and charged full amount. But for 45 minutes treatment it is unfair to charge full amount. Further 02 different treatments for different customers as first time I had to wait because the other customer was late. But when I late this Saturday time was taken out from my appointment time and charged full amount. So very bad customer service, and preferential treatment for some customers. Sorry ,about oweners reply, feed back not only the cost but unfairness of process. Like waiting for the appointment then charged full amount for the 45 minutes appointment.

Fantastic experience: I just had my tooth decay removed and filled, I felt the need to share how pleasant my experience was. I didnt feel a thing during the entire process and the procedure was filled with joy.

Fantastic experience: This is the first dentist I've ever recommended. There's lots of dentists in the world, but this is the first where I've felt like they actually care about the health of my mouth rather than what they can make out of my bad lifestyle habits that make my teeth bad.

Negative experience: I have enjoyed living in Ellerslie for over 17 years. I was delighted to find this dentist 2 blocks from my home that was listed on the ARDS website as offering care for my 13 year old. But as her care is ‘free’ they did not want to take her and would only do so if I went private, so now they have missed out on my paying service also.... anybody who blatantly values profit over patients gets a thumbs down from me. Not the sort of reception I thought I would find in my community.

Fantastic experience: Aditi and the team are amazing. Initially I was cautious returning to a Dentist after previous experiences with another practice. However, I completely trust Aditi and her team. Her care and attention to detail is amazing and demonstrates how passionate she is regarding her field of work. This only translates to better service for her customers! I would highly recommend a visit to Lumino Dentist, Ellerslie!

Fantastic experience: The dentist here are really good, well experienced and they advise you as much as they can and they keep following up. However, the receptionist is really rude, at first she was ok but when I required further help she rudely replied with a big "NO", not even "I will check/see what I can do", as well as she gets really annoyed just because my nose was a bit blocked while in the waiting room and obliged me to take a tissue and sneeze, being rude as well. Change the receptionist or make her aware to be more polite and I will change to 5 stars. But really happy with the dentists there! Update: Thanks for listening to my feedback, really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Not normally a fan of dentists and reviews but got to say I was very impressed by the service I received. From the minute I walked in the service was excellent and Monty was brilliant with the treatment. Actually taking time afterwards to show me and explain my x rays was a new experience for me. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Positive experience: Lovely practice with staff who are very welcoming and patient. The practice is fresh and modern with obvious effort to make you feel comfortable. They have great follow up service.

Fantastic experience: These people are the kindest most helpful polite caring people I have ever been lucky enough to deal with. My brother got very sick from his teeth and as I live in Australia it was hard to help him as he has no immediate whanau back home and he needed a dentists help badly i phoned a few to see if I could get him assessed find out what it would cost to help him and if I could pay the cost using my credit debit card before treatment but was rudely told in short to dont waste their time it's not going to happen then i found Lumino in ellerslie Auckland. From the first gentalman i spoke to, to the lovely lady who phoned me back yes phoned me back in Australia they were so kind and helpful it was to become an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life the lady even sounded bad that they could only get him in early the next day being a Saturday the only thing that mattered to them was helping my brother. Then they even phoned me back yes in Australia again the next morning to tell me that he was already in the chair being worked on before I'd even paid them and the lady that rang was a different person so 3 different people I'd spoken to and all were caring helpful and kind in every way I know this is a bit of a long read but I want people out there to know that their are still amazing people out there who care more about helping someone in need and whom are in their chosen profession for the right reasons so thankyou to all at LUMINO you may never know how much what you did meant to my brother and my whanau can't thankyou enough James Walker and whanau

Negative experience: These people are the worst, complete rip off, tooth filling came off in under a month.
